  1. just saw the highlights of the game and i must say Bayern should have burried their chances, they battered Madrid most of the game and in end they payed dearly for their mistakes, their GK howler was decisive and at this level is costly, and missing clear chances, and when you do it against a team like Real you pay for it sooner or later, and Real were clinical when it mattered, you can say Ronaldo missed a sitter to make it 3-1 on the night, but Bayern should have done much better, they choked simple, many credit to Navas and Real's defense when the going got really tough. One thing im looking forward to is how Liverpool will deal with Madrid's midfield ( i just dont see Roma overturning this tie), there is a huge gap in quality between both teams in midfield and that for me will be the decisive factor i think; Milner, Henderson and co is no match for Modric, Casemiro, Isco and Kroos and the main threat for Liverpool is Salah, with Firmino and Mane in support, but who knows what can happen in a final. Cheers
  2. the reality is they are a very well oiled machine now compared to past years when they would get eliminated earlier season after season, but that changed since 2011, where they have reached the semis every season and won all the finals they reached (2014, 2016, 2017) and only lost to eventual winners in 2011 (Pep's Barca), while the other teams lost their finals, but credit where its due, Real are the best team atm in the CL, eventough they get many calls their way, and get lucky breaks, they definitely know how to get the job done when it matters most while others choke, its the truth.
  3. i hope so, man how times have changed, that 2004/2005 season will long live in my memory: Cech, Cudicini, Ferreira, Carvalho, Terry, Huth, Gallas, Bridge, Makelele, Lampard, Tiago, Smertin, Gudjohnsen, Duff, Robben, Joe Cole, Drogba what a fucking team back then, im so happy to have witnessed it
  4. and all broken in one season, man fuck City , i know it hurts, but they are simply better than everyone in the league at the moment, it just shows how shit the other rivals have been this season.
  5. chill mate, not everyone is plastic, or maybe they are very busy and cant type on TC actively there are many members who certainly follow the comments, threads, etc but dont comment often, lets not read between the lines. Cheers
  6. scousers droping yet more points, f uck if only we hadnt played like shit in previous games, we could be sitting confortably in top 4, maybe we still have a glimmer of hope but only if we win all our games and Spurs and Pool drop more points. We can all hope but it will very difficult at this late stage in the season, we only have ourselves to blame for being in this predictament. Cheers
  7. let him keep the beard, it must be some kind of lucky charm, because its working 👀💪
  8. Oblak was simply immense, that save from Ramsey's header at the end tough, Oblak grew wings right there, it was sick. I felt the ref was a cunt to Atletico, sending Vrsaljko off just after 10 mins, and also Arse players diving everywhere to try and influence the ref, altough Arsenal had the much better chance, in the end it came back to bite them in the ass when a fk was not given to Arsenal before Atletico's equalizer, thats all they needed to score an away goal. the Marseille gk made some sick saves against Salzburg to keep a clean sheet, immense too, still all to play for in the 2nd leg
  9. to think we could be with Salah and De Bruyne in our team right now, it just makes me want to kill the idiots who let them leave without buyback clauses
  10. lets just pray Bayern or Real can do the job
  11. at least now it will make Pool sweat in the 2nd leg, if Roma can get and early goal who knows what can happen, but despite that it was an awful performance from Roma even if they did score 2 away goals.
  12. just a shame Roma let those 5 goals in, but in reality Liverpool should and could have scored much more. Bring on the 2nd leg, Roma fans will believe, but in order for them to turn it around it would also require a complete Pool meltdown, and i just dont see it happening. those 5 goals will prove very costly for Roma.
  13. hmm i dont see it happening, Liverpool have goals in them in the 2nd leg, but Roma might just make it interesting
  14. 5-0 doesnt reflect how dominant Liverpool have been today, it should be like 8-0 or more. Roma are done edit: an away goal for Roma, but it might be too late to change the tie unless Roma perform a miracle, i just dont see it happening
  15. Klopp will have to win something soon, its his 3rd season and no trophy to show for it, just like Pochettino at Spurs, long may it continue, i simply dread the idea of Pool winning the Champions League this season.
  16. its over, Liverpool are too much to handle for Roma
  17. tie over, Roma simply outclassed all over the pitch, what an embarassment
  18. Credit where its due, Klopp has worked wonders at Liverpool, the players reflect that on the pitch, they will win a trophy sooner or later, just not this season pls.
  19. Liverpool just tearing Roma apart with such ease, what a shame from Roma, expected much more. If only Bayern or Real can do their part in the final, one can hope
