  1. meet his players......most will also be away with their respective countries
  2. bloody lip readers....just great...ask John Terry
  3. no I dont...but I hope you would have guessed that I am joining with the spirit of the rest of this forum and making it up as I go along or beleiving every media report.Lots of Love to you as well ;-)
  4. Just sell him....can't have rebels in the team who would rather lose than win for a manager. Says a lot about him......he dont give a flying toss for Chelsea supporters.........thats right Eden, the ones that voted for you as player of the year ( twice )
  5. That was the only appointment I have ever felt uncomfortable with ( maybe Bobby Campbell as well for different reasons ). Toxic .....rubbish. It was hostile but never toxic for 1 home game and a few aways
  6. ref Eva......rumours another player involved as well.
  7. If the 'getting stronger by the day' rumours of Hazard and his mates being the ones who would rather lose than win for the manager....... the sell them as soon as possible and use the funds to bring in your Pogba's, Griezmans or whoever is flavour of the month. I like Mourinho ( but he annoys me sometimes especially this season) and he is not my favourite Chelsea manager, but all I have wanted for many years and I go back way before Abramovich is continuity. A manager who we stick with win, lose or draw who is given time to develop the squad he inherits and bring youth through over several years ( which actually takes a bit of time ) plus not be under pressure to win either the PL or CL every year, and develops a good understanding with the board over potential transfers ( in and out) With that, once that manager decides after a 5 -10 year legacy to retire/move to another club/ become international manager I would like one of the staff be promoted within having been groomed for the job. It still works nowadays with some big clubs and in the past it was successful even in this country. Mourinho and his current staff are the ones that are in place and in my eyes, if they were to be replaced we would be taking big steps backwards. Would it bother me if we didnt win a thing and finished mid table.....certainly not. Would it bother me if we spunked a load of money on a new manager and staff plus a shedload of new players to suit new manager.... yes, but its not my money. Could we survive a year or more without CL football.....most probably, with the TV money, the huge recently signed sponsorship deals plus Abramovich and a bit of creative accounting...we are comfortable. So, if there are players not wanting to win for Mourinho....then I dont care who they are, what their status is or how many......get rid as soon as possible. If they stay and a new manager comes in....would they do the same if they get upset??? A player who would rather lose than win for ANY manager is letting the club and the fans down. Some years I pay over 4k a season to watch this team home/away and around Europe and what hurts me more than any TV rant, sending off, penalty miss, etc etc etc is to hear about and/or see a player not trying or willing to lose rather than win. Its a massive let down and I dont care if relations between him and the manager aint great..............PLAY FOR US...the support...match going and worldwide tv. At least when there was player power before, they still gave it all for the fans Is Mourinho the right man?? The board should have thought about this 3 years ago whilst he was at Madrid and the sounded him out whilst Benitez was here .........but whatever they are thinking now whether its Mourinho or not, I hope they stick by the promise of building for the future and more continuity
  8. I would say that he improved on what Hoddle and Gullit bought to the party. We did win a league cup, ECWC and super cup then went on to finish 3rd in PL in his second season....highest finish since early 70's. I thought Luca done ok really and started the winning mentality before it went up another level

  10. you have supported the club a long time and go to matches...... don't know about you, but I am still very grateful that we are the top echelon and can quite often compete for trophies. Doesnt have to be every year and don't expect it to be ( like quite a few on here). Wasnt the best day at the office but luckily for us we have Kiev on Wednesday infront of a sold out SB rather than having to wait a whole week. Mourinho actually rewarded players who had played well in last match or two with a start instead of sticking with the tried and trusted from last season ....that was a positive in most peoples eyes before the game. Anyway onwards and upwards....Prince of Wales for a beer in West Brompton Wednesday if anyone about and lets get behind the club, manager and players
  11. well as far as I am concerned...win, lose or draw they still are a club we should be proud of. From where we were in certain periods in the last 50 odd years to now is something to be proud of
  12. never mind chaps....just another bad day at the office. Really good day out as always at the Bridge. Great support. Does it really bother you if we dont win anything and finish nowhere?
  13. another good day out at the Bridge today....well before and after anyway. Good support from the MHL . General feeling was that we were comfortable and keeping them at bay with just half chances until they scored late on 1st half. Wish we could have kept up the intensity of the first 15 minutes when it looked like a 442 but the guys seemed just to drop off and let Liverpool have the ball and we went back to a 4231. Saw a lot more of the ball 2nd half but there were a few headless chickens who seemed wary of having it at their feet. Never mind...Kiev on Wednesday. Will be up in West Brompton area early if anyone about for a beer. C'mon Chelsea
  14. just finished work, couple hours kip then off to the match. Not really into early kick offs because the atmosphere can be a bit flat, but as its against the vermin....c'mon MHL...lets give it to them. 4-0 to us
  15. ... there yer go...I have donated a pound but not sure if its a positive pound or a negative one.
  16. what for?edit: just seen your above post...lol
  17. Oh no...!!!!!!!! Thats put the mockers on it all. Even Robbie Savage is turning out in favour of Mourinho. Whether you love him or loathe him, Mourinho is pure box office and if he gets the sack the game has officially gone mad It's absurd, absolute madness, if Jose Mourinhos job is on the line. Nothing brings out the bandwagon-jumpers faster than a big-name manager under pressure, and sometimes I wonder if people in this country really want to see the best players and best coaches working here? Unless we are careful, just as Cristiano Ronaldo, Luis Suarez and Gareth Bale all turned their backs on the Premier League for one reason or another, we will drive out some of the most charismatic figures in the dugout as well. Whether you love him or loathe him, Mourinho is pure box office and if he gets the sack the game has officially gone mad. Ive seen Chelseas last three games and there is no way not a cat in hells chance that he has lost the dressing room, as the saying goes. They should have banked a Champions League away win in Kiev last week, they deserved a point at West Ham after dominating with only 10 men on the pitch, and they battered Stoke in the Capital One Cup only to lose on penalties. Sure, the Special One has made mistakes this season, like the unnecessary public spat with his medical staff. And although he may have become a bit paranoid about refereeing decisions going against Chelsea, some of his complaints like the penalty they should have been awarded in Kiev have been fully justified. Its not Mourinhos fault that Thibaut Courtois suffered a bad injury, Branislav Ivanovics form has collapsed, Cesc Fabregas has looked a shadow of the player who made such an impact last season, Diego Costa reported back for pre-season training overweight and Eden Hazards performances have dipped. Mourinho has gone out of his way to show loyalty to players who have let him down so why should he not enjoy a bit of loyalty from owner Roman Abramovich? If his players are allowed to go through spells of indifferent form and results, Mourinho should be afforded some leeway in recognition of everything he has achieved for Chelsea. In the past, Abramovich has fired Roberto Di Matteo six months after he won the Champions League and Carlo Ancelotti a year after he won the title but in the end, all trails led him back to Mourinho. Who would do a better job than Jose if Chelsea got rid of him now? Where are the viable alternatives? Ancelotti is available, but I dont see Abramovich going back to him. And if Pep Guardiola was ever going to land at Stamford Bridge, I think it would have happened by now. Lets get real: Mourinho is still the best man for the job. I still think Chelsea will go furthest of all the English clubs in the Champions League this season, and I wouldnt rule them out of winning it. And if Mourinho is on the brink, as so many people seem to insist, then why are the fans still on his side? When a manager is in trouble, listen to the supporters. If the soundtrack is booing or open dissent, its usually just a matter of time before he walks the plank. But I dont hear any hostility towards Mourinho from his own flock. I still think he will get the best out of Chelsea and they will finish in the top four. And Ill guarantee you one thing: From kick-off against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge today, the fans will belt out their support for Mourinho. And when supporters are overwhelmingly on the managers side, it would make little sense for Abramovich to fly in the face of his clubs fanbase. Mark my words, if they sack Mourinho, Chelsea will live to regret Thats it.....I coming off the fence. Mourinho OUT ;-)
  18. well I am sure it wont be....and the match, win, lose or draw will be. But its all part of the build up to the match and a lot of supporters look forward to hearing about team news , and other relevant issues etc etc.
  19. disagree actually...because normally a load of negative stuff gets reported from them.It was decent and straightforward today bar a couple of poor attempts by journo's to get Mourinho to say something controversial. Injuries update Costa and Pedro latest Ramires contract A bit about Jurgen Klopp, liverpool and Man Utd and club not received anything ref Eva. nice and simple and straight to the point
  20. yep best you did drop it...because I know exactly what I said.., what was meant.....its there in black and white...and only reactionary's could make that connection between me asking about todays presser and a comment he made over 2 years ago. Bit stupid really.Like I also said...suit yourself ref pressers ( i got it the first time ) but many many supporters like them Dynastys take time and it could well happen if he allowed to stay
  21. so you are not interested in who is fit and available and reasons behind a players contract extension.suit yourself....quite a lot of supporters are. Ref first bit....get real. I specifically asked about todays presser...not one 2 years ago and building a dynasty was not mentioned today.
