I have been to a football stadium and seen how new supporters to a stadium react

If they did and spoke out like they do on here....there would be a chance of a few taps round the chops from those standing near them.....however, I would bet, like all supporters coming for the first time to the Bridge, they would be bemused at whats going on around them, be as quiet as a mouse and get out their mobiles to take loads of pictures. Thats after they have purchased a half n half scarf from the street vendors on Fulham Road ;-) incredible support for mourinho tonight

just back from the match....sore throat coming on...vocal chords battered. Generally thought we did well and were in control for the most part. Seemed to get nervous in the 2nd half. MHL stood all night and sang with their hearts. What I liked was to come back from a mishap instead of crumbling ...some of that spirit is back. For those who say it was lucky...sour grapes and you earn your luck. Crawl back under your rocks and enjoy the moment......it might go to ratshoite on the weekend ;-)

Based on "who they played " arguement....look out for WHU being right up there at the top then. All I said to you was that taking an average of 3 years especially when that included an exceptional one is not as accurate as one over 5 or 10 years. By the way last 5 years...70, 79, 73, 69, 68......if i were a betting man, I think I would be looking around the 70-72 mark based on those figures

a few posts ago,,,you expected them to challenge for 4th.at the end of the day, i am just saying that history says 4th will be around 70 points and you say you gut feeling is for 75 or more. Not a huge difference really will leave it at that......as its not difficult to understand

haha...teams played....can remember our top of the table clashes v swansea, west ham and villa in the early part of last seasonutd ...expected to finish 2nd or 3rd....maybe a slight improvement to 2 or 2.2 points a game to achieve that. Are you expecting ALL the teams around that 4th spot to keep their highish average ponts going. do carry on.

That suggests to me'taking points off each other' therefore lowering end total Look...all I have said is the average for 10 years is around 68-70. So based on percentages we should realistically see a figure plus/minus 1 or 2 points from that.

suit yourself...but a pre match presser is completely different to an after match interview I happen to like the prematch ones where I hear first hand about team news and relevant team matters. isnt the 79 points of 13/14 the extraordinay one bumping up last years of 70 points and 3 years ago of 73 points?Hence why 10 year or even maybe 5 year should be more accurate than 3 years

like I said....it all depends on the mid range clubs taking points of the higher clubs. Just because it hasnt happened as much in last couple of years doesnt mean it wont happen again.....which is why a ten year average is more accurate than a 3 year one . Top 4 for any club could be achieved in the next ten years with 68-70 points based on last 10
