when they learnt to use the internet and realised they could say what they want once school homework was finished

yes....he is only back at Chelsea because our medical staff have superior knowledge on his injuries and should imagine our facilities are better than Palace to aid quicker recovery.

There is a big difference between coming to work with a smile and acting childish. But hey ho....you chose just one little bit at the end rather than comment on the post as a whole which was my opinion on him as a footballer and a man. I suppose at the end of the day, if he was a brilliant defender doing a sterling job for Chelsea defence then he can act as childish as he wants and fans wouldnt care.

In my opinion and based on matches I have seen 'live', Luiz created more 'head in hands' moments during matches than any other player I can remember watching. These moments were often accompanied by some statements such as 'what the fuck is he up to now' by fellow supporters around me in the grounds. For me there has never been a player that created so much divided opinion amongst match going support. However, these moments (and there at least 2 or 3 a match which are not all picked up on TV) have been covered either by our defenders/DM's filling in, the opponents inability to capitalise on any error or just pure luck that the ball ran kindly. Sometimes his unpredictibility works in our favour and providing we can make the most of his footballing side i.e. his pace and coming out with the ball to launch an attack whilst covering his erroneous side we should be ok. His experiences in Paris on and especially off the pitch seem to have matured him as a man and I hope this translates onto the pitch with Chelsea. I was never a fan of this 'geezer' talk, sticking his tongue out at every oppotunity and acting a clown ..... it just gives his detractors more ammunition to write negative stuff whether he has a decent game or not. Hopefully most of this side of him has been cut out.

Diego Costa gets booked for dissent because he is Diego Costa. Plenty of other players (who have goody two shoes reputations) were giving refs backchat and escape punishment. Its not excusing Costa and he needs to recognise that he cannot chat with refs (wonder if they understand his limited English anyway) but there needs to be consistency across the board from refs and not be swayed one way or another just because of who the player is. Now..on the technical side of thing...the alleged bad touch when he scored actually worked in his favour as I think the goalie was expecting a more direct touch towards goal. Nevertheless, it was still a fine, calm finish from Costa once he had control of the ball
-
Well considering that Everton said we never made contact over Lukaku, all this with him now committing himself to Everton seems to have left egg on his face. The whole saga stinks of his agent thinking Costa was leaving therefore putting Lukaku into the picture and getting him to make noises in the press. There are no bids or enquiries from any club especially Chelsea who looked settled with Costa and Batman etc....... therefore Lukaku has to go back to Everton with his tail between his legs and commit to them.

Ooooh...wonder if its the redesign of the East Stand because of the rail and specific cargo underneath it

Italy may have played on the counter but when they did counter they ended up having 3 or 4 in the box. Thats the difference. This is not the greatest Italian team but it is obvious they have bought into Conte and his ways. Hardly anyone would have predicted that result of 2-0 and you mention Belgium chances but if it wasnt for Tibo, then Italy could have easily had 1 or 2 more as well

She was "encouraged" by certain rights groups etc and lets get it right...it was not a trial. Had Fearn decided to do anything and gone for constructive dismissal, then it would have been capped at £78k. Chelsea went through the right process of offering her a way back to her job and at the end of the day, all the tribunal are looking at are employers and employees and not Chelsea, Eva and Mourinho
-
The case was dominated between club and her because it is an employment tribunal. Apart from incidents that happened most of the talk would have been about procedures followed etc
-
Good for her that she decided to settle . A lot more info (not all good for her was allegedly due to come out). Still stinks of her just wanting as much money as possible though and she didnt get a public apology from Mourinho.
-
quite possibly yes....as there had been problems before this. Would she have put in the same wage demands increasing her £285k a year to £400k plus extras if there had been no upset.
-
how do you know he solely created it? From whats come out so far, there has been confusion on what words were said and to whom, there was incidents before the league match such as the Florentina match......but at the end if the day she was offered her job back and it seems she was quite willing but on her increased financial and job spec terms. That meant she was willing to work with Mourinho again.
-
this is not just Mourinho's mess though. Its plain to see that the club are obviously backing him here. This is also about Chelsea following the correct procedures etc.
-
Dont get your frillies in a twist mate...I was agreeing with you but had you not added last sentence your debate looked better. Posters prefer other teams to do well or not well because of staff there....you choose because of local rivalry. Down to individual choice at the end of the day, but as long as Chelsea are first then the rest is irrelevent
-
And so the tribunal has begun......good luck with trying to get a public apology Eva.....something that an Employment Tribunal cannot order. Folks have to remember that in the main this is about the Clubs policies and whether they followed correct guidelines with regards to the Doctors grievence. The bit with Mourinho is secondary to this but relevant.
-
Decent argument until very last sentence....better off leaving it out because its selective hypocrisy
-
Lol...name and shame those that want him to be suucessful instead of Chelsea then. I think posters want Chelsea to be successful but will not be surprised if he turns Utd into winners and the more laid back and respectful of folk on here also wish him or indeed any ex Chelsea legend no ill will and good luck with rest of his life and career. That doesnt mean to say they dont want us whipping his teams butts and beating them to trophies
-
Yup...he is actually going to backed in the transfer market (his own choice of targets) by the board. Spot the difference
-
Klopp and Simeone are certified loons. Are they more succesful than Guadiola or Mourinho over last couple of years?
-
I dont really get why posters are so keen to mug him off just because he has gone to Utd. Understand why they were having a pop at him 5 months and more ago because things were going extremely wrong.......but crikeys.....5 months ago......get over it. Back to the Utd issue......all tbey are is a rival like the other 18 clubs in tbe PL. Thry are not fierce bordering on hated rivals like Arsenal, Spurs or Liverpool. They are a competitive rival ....no more than that. Infact, we have always got on well with them as clubs and supporters. The 2 clubs have always sold players to each other and even managers have gone there. Mourinho going to Old Trafford should be interesting and hopefully all the talk is about him, that untested Spanish fella coming to do City and that loon Klopp at the Scousers with Wenger being a voyeur on the periphery sticking his oar in every now and then whilst we go quietly about our business.
-
Well that was just too easy. He said he was one of us because like us at the time he wanted the same things as us as supporters. So at that time he was one of us. No doubt he will still keep a friendly lookout for our results and will most probably want us to do well like his kids but like all professionals who move clubs from one they follow or support.....their current club comes first and rightly so.
-
but he is actually right. Ever since Munich, and from Edwards through to Charlton, Best, Law onto Cantona, Beckham etc Manchester Utd have had this aura and have attracted a huge worldwide following even through bad times i.e. when they were relegated. No club in UK can come close. Like it or not they are the 'glamour' club and any manager worth his salt would normally want a chance to manage them. You having a pop about him saying that statement says more about you than him....i.e. look for any snippet to beat him down with. #getalife He has gone now...why cant you just remember all the good things and times as you would for most players that played part in some of our greatest success. For example...Fernando Torres. I wager that when you think of Torres, the image in your mind isnt of the money he cost, the games he went missing in, the sitters he missed etc...no, I bet one the first images is him scoring in Barca or winning that corner in Munich or scoring in Amsterdam . Mourinho will still continue to be a supporter along with his kids of the club like he was whilst at Inter and Real. Find it amusing that people have got the 'one of us' analogy completely wrong. Just because he failed to get it right last season, doesnt mean he didnt feel the pain as a supporter would. The 'one of us' statement was made when he said he wanted to see the club do well, be succesful on and off the field like any supporter would and he said he was one of you...i.e. the same as a supporter wanting the same things. No doubt you(amongst others) will have your own agendas to suit and castigate this post but frankly, I do not give a flying toss because you are in the minority and most club support are just normal people who whilst disappointed at the way things turned out for Mourinho, plus others that have left the club in the past, would wish him or them no ill will and certainly wouldnt spend time looking for reasons to mug them off and have a pop. But hey ho...if it pleases you and gives you pleasure, why should the likes of me deny an alleged fellow chelsea supporter their perversed fun ;-)
-
Well as he was talking about the Utd job and where they use to be......what do you think?
-
And overused and so unoriginal when it comes to football chants #boring
