Don't know if you ever used to go to the Blues Bar at SB it's what Frankie's is now. It used to be really good in there much better atmosphere than the ground if we couldn't get tickets we used to watch games in there. Think that's where everyone poured out after Moscow it was a terrible night for me not only the result but when Lamps scored I jumped in the air and got kneed in the back of the leg had a dead leg for about a week. Drowning your sorrows for the next couple of days is not a good idea with a dead leg when your in the pub and you need a piss .

It's been a bank holiday Monday since it started as far as I know. Last year's I can't comment on but it might have clashed with another event in London. When they were played in Wales QPR had just lost to Cardiff a late goal as I recall and the camera panned into the crowd on to one of my best mates who was nearly in tears it took a long time for him to live it down !

Moscow all the bars in SB were packed you couldn't get near the ground we watched it in the Seven Stars most of Chelsea old and notorious boys in there. It was a Wednesday and I don't think there was a beamback as such as the game was on ITV. Pretty sure there wasn't one for Munich besides I couldn't watch Chelsea on a beamback without a pint in my hand FB !. I've lost count the amount of times I've watched this.

It's really going to hit home when if we win instead of thousands of Chelsea fans as in Munich and Amsterdam celebrating (basically half the stadium) we'll have about as many fans if we were playing Southampton at St Mary's in a stadium twice it's size absolute fucking liberty.

It's the locals and the local councils I'm afraid these parades have to be agreed between Hammersmith and Fulham and Kensington and Chelsea. No other club has to negotiate between two councils which is another factor in the rebuilding and why it's proving so difficult. I've been to nearly all the parades the best was the first in 97 (pic below) but we never had one in 2007 when we won the two cups. I think a bit of perspective is needed when it comes to Lampard. Derby finished 15 points behind the second placed team and they only just scraped into the play offs. I would imagine that Derby would have been fancied more than Sheffield United and Norwich to get automatic promotion. The Villa manager took over from Steve Bruce with them struggling and he could get Villa promoted at Derby's expense I don't see anyone putting his name forward for the Chelsea job yet Lampard has simply because he's a CFC legend. As other posters have said this is our weakest squad for years and with a possible transfer ban it's not exactly ideal for any manager regardless of their experience. It would be hard for Frank to turn the job down if and it's a big if it was offered to him but I just don't think the circumstances are in his favour. We are going to have to bite the bullet and stick with Sarri I'm afraid and hope for some improvement for next season

Don't think you can compare Sarri to Ashley Cole a 60 a day habit compared to a social smoker are two different things entirely. I gave up smoking 10 years ago I got fed up off going outside to smoke in the pissing down rain and I'm glad I did. 48 hours on after the most one sided cup final ever it was English football in a nutshell. Small provincial club being slaughtered by a mega minted one. English football is going to go the way of Scottish football two clubs dominating the rest and it sticks in the craw to say it but Klopp and Liverpool have done it without spending huge amounts and bringing young players through. The irony is not lost on me being a Chelsea fan moaning about Man City but that treble could happen countless times because their only going to get stronger while the rest apart from Liverpool will flounder. Football has lost it's soul it's turning into American Football it's catered for a TV audience while the stadiums are corporate wankholes that have about as much atmosphere as a Dignitas waiting room.

I had a feeling you were famous the District finals are up there with all the major sporting events. A middle aged plumber or a brickie they definitely deserve to be compared to a Premier League manager because they both smoke.

Agreed and trying to turn it into the Superbowl. Pre match entertainment Tinie Tempah a few years ago was a particular low, getting some X Factor reject to sing the national anthem and worse of all so many streamers and confetti when the trophy is lifted and you can hardly see the players.
