  1. Hasn't been fired yet, best news of the day. Hope we can continue with him, don't want him gone. We can only do it with Jose.
  2. Apart from losing that game, don't you think that the overall style of play is getting better and better? Today the team created goal scoring opportunities, but was unlucky and spoiled it in the end. For me that's a positive development, if we can continue like this, i don't think we are going to get relegated. We have won some games so far, so some confidence should be there. Reaching top 3 has become really difficult now, most likely we have to refrain from that goal. That realism should be mentioned. The start of the upcoming week will be very exciting, i hope that the sack isn't coming, it could happen, sadly.
  3. Masks everywhere, where the fuck is the real Jose? Already inside?
  4. Whoscored predicts a 2:1 win for the fuckin' basketballers...can't believe it. Butland has been playing brilliantly thus far, we need good shots to get the better of him. We must control Arnautovic, have seen him, and i think he's up for the task. Bojan isn't as good as last season, still recovering. It's difficult to predict the line up, but it's a must win, hope we can do that.
  5. We take care of our own, simple as that. It was a good example what we do when results aren't good enough, we will show faith till the very end. That's why Mourinho has come back, that's why he is the happy one, you can't buy that, but the likes of City will never learn and United fans are learning it the hard way, miserable, but they have to take it. We can delete one more candidate from that list; Willian. He did everything to make sure that some of pressure on Jose is eased off for now. Moreover we can cheer for the rest of the week, in contrast to the "goonettes".... There will be some good banter coming very soon....
  6. He is is truly one of us, can't believe the unconditional support he received today, fuckin' great, but some call us plastics, muahahaha. On top of that is the result of the other English game, yes, the league desperately needs more points, but nothing is wrong with a good ol' trashing, specialist in failure got what was coming to him, fully deserved. This day can't get any better, absolutely loving it.
  7. I like Hazard a lot, but he was given a lot of chances and for me "not good enough". Today, i'm not reluctant for making some changes. We tried far too long with the same guys, "a must not lose" offers a good opportunity to go with something new. In my point of view, Willian is a dribbler and creator too, Oscar or Fabregas are going to be our central playmaker and on the other side, personally, i prefer having a more direct player who really goes for goal and isn't afraid taking on some opponents; overall a straight shooter who offers a good balance. Furthermore i think that Willian on the left offers a much bigger attacking threat, because it's easier for him to cut in and release a powerful strike with his right foot. I agree with your defensive unit. Mourinho won't bench John Terry, therefore it seems as the best line up we have. For me Ramires is a surprise egg; you never know, what you will get today. Maybe we can play Loftus-Cheek, but that's just a wish. Oscar or Fabregas as the central playmaker? That's a tough one. Oscar was horrible in his last match, but Fabregas didn't do himself any favors with his style of play thus far. My man would be Oscar, at least more shots and he knows how to win a tackle. ......................Costa.............. Willian........Oscar........Kenedy..... .......Loftus-Cheek....Mikel Azpilicueta...Terry...Cahill...Zouma ....................Begovic
  8. In my point of view Hazard was excellent in his 2 games against PSG. In the first leg they fouled him 9th times, got us 9th free-kicks. Correct me if i'm wrong but from my understanding, that is the current record! Blanc identified Hazard as the main threat and ordered his guys to take him out, remember the "two feet" challenge from Verratti? Every time Hazard got the ball, they dragged him to the ground. But he didn't care, he got up and tried again, he never stopped until the game was over. Mourinho: "this kid is pure." The second leg was the same, except he made the next step and took good care of the penalty. I don't care about goals, during the two games Hazard looked constantly dangerous and he always demanded the ball. That's what big players do, he stepped up big time and showed real maturity. The experts (for example whoscored) awarded him a 7.2 and a 8.2. For me he was our best outfield player, but we're talking about Hazard, so the limits aren't there yet. He will get better and better, unbelievable talent.
  9. Cavani must be the biggest bottler in the business. How can you fuck up that opportunity during injury time?! Can't believe it, with this dude, it's never dull, especially at the biggest stage, he needs a lot of opportunities to put it behind. Both teams have good midfields, Chelsea can't keep up with them, Kroos is a fucking monster.
  10. 1) Jose made some mistakes, the board too, and yes, some of the players are letting the club down. In relation to the current situation it's difficult to step it up for the players, because a lot of the game takes place in the head. 2) First things first, i think Loftus-Cheek could have been handed a lot more playing time during the pre-season. Mourinho tested Moses, he played well, but apparently wasn't good enough. Why didn't he do the same thing with Loftus-Cheek? During these friendlies there are a lot of possibilities up for the taking. Moreover, afterwards one can say, that most likely Moses would have made a bigger impact than Pedro. With all due respect, that's difficult to predict, i must say to cut him some slack. Most Chelsea fans already knew before the season started about the lack of quality in midfield. If you don't trust Loftus-Cheek, it's okay, but then you have to bring another guy in, because Ramires and Mikel can't dictate the play. Maybe therefore Mourinho spoke about the Eiffel-Tower, who know. But you can't expect the board to spend around 100 Mio. on one player. But did the board want to spend money for a midfielder at all? Don't know.... Maybe there is a lack of communication between the board and Jose. Why did they buy Baba, when Jose isn't fully convinced of him? For Papy goes the same, he hoped for a big club and there is zero opportunity, clearly Mourinho doesn't rate him. Difficult for a player to convince the coach to let him play, especially when he's not that good or better then the likes of Cahill. Communication is key, Baba wasn't match fit, after Torres they should keep two eyes on that things. Mourinho would have never sold Cech to Arsenal without getting a player in return, there could have been a much better negotiation. Sadly, one can state that Mourinho was wrong with Falcao. Most of the time he is injured and when he is on the pitch, he isn't up for the job anymore. But i would have made the same mistake, because as a third option to have he didn't seem too bad at that time. So i can't throw the first stone. Secondly, there exist problems with the style of play, as clear as crystal. Chelsea can't protect a lead anymore. This weakness runs through Mourinho's second spell. Second leg against Atletico Madrid, we had everything, were one up, but couldn't hold it together. Second leg against PSG, we didn't play beautifully, but we scored twice, we took the lead twice, fucked it up in the end. Against the likes of Man City and other opponents we had the same problems. Furthermore way too often they put it behind because of a corner or free-kick. When it's broken, it ain't easy to fix, but Barca had the same problems, but Enrique found a solution. Mourinho couldn't and therefore we conceded goal after goal, horrible. Additionally, when we attack, we aren't that dangerous anymore with those opportunities, nowadays we prefer to spoil it most of the time. Depressing... In the final third there aren't enough runs and passing opportunities. The ball goes from left to right and right to left. That's clueless and often the opponent can use that to their strengths. That's not completely the fault of Mourinho. because some of the guys have got really bad decision making, even Hazard sometimes holds the ball way too long. Willian is a champion in that competition, it slows the play too much down. A good pass is always faster than a run or dribbling, but no one has the ability for consistently doing that. In my point of view, Fabregas is more of an "accuracy-player", during the good days, he plays a few, but too little. He can't dominate a play, he can't organize and shift the game. But i don't want to be too harsh on Fabregas, because the other guys are much worse. It's slowly getting better, but the guys have to take more shots outside the box. Yesterday Aston scored a goal because of a deflect, that has to happen more often when we play. Coutinho did it against us, that's a dangerous weapon to have. Maybe not taking shots outside the box is a thing of Barcelona, yes Messi does it, but the likes of Iniesta and Xavi are rarely doing it either. Mourinho knows Barcelona and their style of play very well, sometimes some of the combinations remind me of them. In particular the first months of last season were a reminder of their style of play, yes, in an evolved way, but still, the idea is clear to see. You ask me whether i can see a light at the end of the dark tunnel? Yes, because i think Mourinho is on the right path. We have to stay put and stop conceding goals, we're able to put one behind, but clean sheets are the magic word. Therefore we see Mikel more and more frequently in the line-up, that's a good thing, because we're in urgent need of more defensive stability. Zouma offers much better security in the defensive unit, therefore he gets the preference ahead of Baba. The next step is to use a more direct player in the attacking unit, take a good look at Kenedy, he offers much more than Hazard at the present time. In general young guys are getting more and more chances, the time for the untouchables is nearly up. So, i'm confident that Mourinho will get the nod for sorting this mess out. 3) Jose already said it: "the fans aren't stupid." We know that there are problems out there, some of them even an outsider could identify and maybe solve. But not all of them, it's "a combination of factors", and that's the difficult task to accomplish. What Jose says and actually means are two different shoes. Furthermore i don't think he's shifting blame. When did Mourinho expose his players to the press? Some guys for example Hazard maybe need a bit of pressure, but when things get tough, he literally eats a bullet for them.
  11. That's very good news, indeed, friend. I think Shevchenko is a personal friend of Abramovich, finally his former purchase pays off. Shevchenko showing his true colour, blue through and through. The timing seems perfect! Who knows it better than one of his former players? I have seen Shevchenko at Stamford Bridge in recent times, i like the idea of him being an adviser to Abramovich. Now bring the presser on, need to back our coach and send a statement to these fuckers from DailyFail and so on. We protect and take care of our own (when they stay put). Nowadays, that's the Chelsea way. :blue scalf:
  12. I don't think that Mourinho has lost his way. A bad spell is nothing good, that makes us turn against each other. Maybe Mourinho can't turn it around, even if, he is (for me) still one of the best coaches in the world and his knowledge of football is incredible. When you take that away, it's difficult to replace, i know there exist other good coaches, but to find another one as good as Jose Mourinho isn't a simple job. Ancelotti made us play good attacking football and winning some trophies, but only short-term. Scolari (world cup champion) and Villas-Boas (Europa-League winner) weren't able to deliver anything. Di Matteo won us two big trophies, but he couldn't rebuild and evolve, that's something Mourinho is better at, but he is no god, sometimes he struggles too. Sad, but if the time ever comes, i would like to get someone young like Villas-Boas, but less arrogant (didn't use Drogba to prove a point, lol). Maybe Thomas Tuchel can get the job done, he is tactically fantastic, fresh and gives good talents a chance, look at Weigl and guys like Mkhitaryan or Gundogan are back on track again. Especially Mkhitaryan is now able to score goals, maybe he can do the same with Willian, who clearly has the abilities. But that's for the future, today i pray that Jose Mourinho will turn it around.
  13. Some decisions took a lot a lot of time, maybe Hazard, Fabregas and Ivanovic (before his injury) could have been benched earlier. But now, he is more ruthless, Matic, Hazard, Fabregas they are all feeling the heat now, their place has been put under the microscope. In my point of the view, the overall style of play is evolving and getting better, yes, the setbacks aren't over yet, sometimes they hit us very hard. I prefer to look at the positive aspects and getting a draw against Newcastle after being 2 down or taking the lead against Pool isn't so bad. Yes, the player's mentality hasn't been fully restored yet, but we're getting there. Long story short: Mourinho does make the necessary changes at least now, the team is getting better at scoring goals, yes, the organisation needs to get better quickly, but overall i can see clear signs of improvement. What else could you expect? More controll and a constant killing spree, but i cut Mourinho some slack, because we aren't talking about a machine, which you simply can turn on or off. If we're that bad during boxing day, the outcome will be different, then we have to analyse the situation very carefully and maybe Mourinho should get the sack then. But we aren't there yet, therefore i continue with my support and trust towards the players and Mourinho.
  14. We play bad, really bad, and yes, Mourinho did make some mistakes, i agree with you. But on the other side, we are the current Champions, so a bad spell must be allowed. United, Arsenal, City, Pool, they all would have loved to win the league, but they didn't. At the moment, we're at rock bottom, but it can only get better, not worse. One thing shouldn't happen in the future, entering the private room of the referee and picking up a fight, that's not okay. I don't think that Jose is currently one of the "worst" managers, he tries different things, because of that, he isn't becoming a bad manager, he is still the same guy as last season, only more adapting to losing, but not for long. The media should comply with objectivity and impartiality. They have lost their way with Chelsea and Jose, especially the tabloids, no matter what you think about them, they influence the opinions of a lot of people and what they are doing is wrong.
  15. Personal statement: https://www.facebook.com/cescfabregas/?fref=nf Apparently the news put a lot of pressure on him. I agree with him, that apart from Chelsea whole England want to destabilize Chelsea and kick Mourinho out. We'll bounce back, more strongly than ever before, with Mourinho.
  16. Today we have Champions-League matches, but all the Dailymail is going on about are Chelsea, Mourinho and Hazard. They care so much, they want him gone and a lot of guys are jumping on the bandwagon. The situation is bizarre, but staying by his side is really upsetting the newspapers, absolutely loving it. They know when Mourinho is gone Chelsea will become half the force they once were, better chances for winning something for the likes of Arsenal or Pool, but not going to happen any time soon, Abramovich would have fired Mourinho already if he wanted him gone. Let's stick together and steamroll Kiev.
  17. I have a different opinion. Gary Neville criticises Van Gaal a lot, take a good look at his comments about his playing style. Paul Scholes acted similar, so do other players. Lampard left Chelsea and Mourinho, he went to City, so i don't think he is holding something back, i think he expresses his honest opinion. You can disagree with all these pundits and experts, but questioning their honest opinion without reasonable arguments seems a bit weak to me. I know you want to weaken their thoughts and strenghten yours, but you have to come up with something better before most people start believing it.
  18. I'm hoping that Lamps can team up more often with Carragher and Neville in the future, they would make a nice threesome. In my opinion, Chelsea needs more pundits out there, Mourinho already addressed that lack of Ex-Chelsea players. Lampard is a smart guy, who is able to express himself very well, maybe i'm a bit biased, but for me he is much better than the likes of Henry or Scholes. They have to continue with him, offers great insight into the beautiful game.
  19. Finally Chelsea has got his own pundit, Frank Lampard. He is doing a marvelous job, make a rewatch after Spurs vs. Aston Villa.
  20. Perez would take him back in a heartbeat, hope that's not going to happen. Mourinho is one of the best coaches in the world, most Clubs would welcome him with open arms. Hope that it won't come to that, because he is one of us and here to stay, don't fuck it up Roman. Mourinho isn't a pussy like Favre and throws the towel when shit gets tough, he will fuck back, at least i hope so.
  21. If Mourinho gets the sack, can't believe it, but i can't stop it... I think Capello wouldn't be too bad, especially short term. The man is a proven winner and he won't take shit from any player, moreover he has a good relationship with John Terry. He won't play pretty, but most likely we will end the season with a good shot at a cup, maybe CL, you never know. The moaning around here will continue, because he isn't fancy enough and some people always know best, fun times ahead of us, no matter what's going to happen...
  22. I'm pretty much relieved that the club didn't fire him. Roman Abramovich seems to learn from his mistakes, that's how top class engineering works. Hope we can win against Kiev to be in a good position for the last game before the short break.
  23. You missed one word not under "immediate" threat, i think the meaning is different. Otherwise i don't want him gone, so i'm quite happy about the news. Cheers.
