  1. Bad game by his standards, should have done better. When we're talking about his good games, his bad games have to be mentioned too.
  2. Whoscored gave Diego Costa a 7,8 for his performance against Tel Aviv. This means a higher score than the ones from Matic (7,2), Hazard (7,3) and Fabregas (7,4). I agree with them, apart from his lack of staying in the box he worked hard and fought, can't hate those things. There were some heavy touches, can't change that. At least the dribbling at the end of the game was great. In the future, it would be nice seeing him more in the box where in my point of view a striker has to be, but otherwise, for me he's currently the club's best option. I have seen the goals from Suarez, great strikes, but Costa is a different type of striker, no shame admitting to it. Costa's always getting in trouble with defenders, but that's just his game, i have made peace with it a long time ago, after all, reducing the opponent to 10 men isn't that bad, isn't it?!
  3. About the surgery: We are talking about life threatening issues, that's serious shit, furthermore there were further problems, your date didn't include the two strokes! The time window has been prolonged... The difference between le saux and Carragher is that le saux should be one of us. The Scouse man doesn't like Chelsea very much, understandable because of our legend Drogba and others, still butthurt. Some time ago Mourinho criticized the lack of Chelsea people in the public, but it's even worse, when the few guys out there attack our own during desperate times. Again, the Scouse man is very careful when expressing criticism about his former club. Did he ever attack Rodgers in the same way as le saux did Mourinho? I don't think so, sorry mate. At the end of the day, we have to agree to disagree, why? For me health has to be the first priority in life, no matter what, moreover we're talking about family, sorry mate, but these problems throw you off your track. I fully sympathise with Jose Mourinho. Secondly, it's more difficult i think. Sometimes outspoken criticism is necessary to up your game, but please do it behind closed doors. You have a different opinion about that, i respect that, but i haven't been convinced to change mine. Better style of play today, slowly we're getting on the right track. As i said before, the upcoming Spurs game is going to be a huge test, they are very dangerous, this Kane guy is already on fire, sadly, even if it's good for the fantasy league, hope he doesn't bring his A-game against us. He likes to score in London-derbies. Mourinho has to speak to Hazard about his defensive duties, can't let his man run like today, Spurs will finish these kind of chances
  4. No, mathematics say otherwise. Most likely, still i disagree with you. [emoji4]
  5. Le Saux: There are some heavy statements in it; why the fuck did he play the gender card, when he isn't out for blood? Why have we still to differ between man and woman, 21th century, for god's sack. He questions Mourinho's ethics, morals, call it whatever you want. As if Mourinho doesn't take responsibility, sorry, but for me laughable. He should have written an email and and like adults, meeting face to face and sort their problems out. Coming from behind and stabbing with the knife isn't nice or suitable for highly decorated people. Take a look look at the timing, he publicly criticized one his colleagues during one of his worst moments in life and career (illness of his father) as if he wants to finish him off once and for all. I'm young and still gaining more and more experience, but for me the statement from le saux is reason for a warning letter. This behaviour is unacceptable, one can see his true intentions.
  6. Would have been better, if Jose publicly backed her afterwards. One can say that. Jose seems one of those guys, who only reacts to strength, not weakness. On the whole, neither of us don't know what really happened in the background. Eva's reaction(in her past, she posted very rarely on Facebook) weren't good either. She alone made the call to stop showing up for work, that wasn't necessary, she put her personal needs over the club ones, at the end of the day, she let the team down. Maybe the world has changed over the years, guys like Ferguson weren't nice either. I think a lot of people can't stand a proper hairdryer treatment anymore, Eva didn't get that, way more harmless. Sadly, it was enough. Now we have to get on with life and the club. Can't live forever in the past.
  7. Why can't he say it face to face, why go to the media? I think he's out for blood and wanted it this way, can't stand those people. Yes, Mourinho shouldn't have mentioned Eva back in the day, but it was in the heat of the moment, the one from le saux was thought out.
  8. Never ever backs down, that's the way it should be. If you wanna pick a fight do it, but it will come back to you. That was classic Jose, hope he's back to his best. The upcoming match is a must not lose one, but against the Yids, we truly need a Mourinho masterclass.
  9. At some point, a manager has to put trust in a young player, there must be more than one opportunity to show your abilities and prove yourself. Some bad performances must to be tolerated. David Alaba made some mistakes, but Van Gaal tolerated it short term, that's the way it should be. In the past there were too many quick changes in management, more difficult to establish yourself, especially as a young guy. Can't disagree with you. But i'm afraid i disagree with you on your assessment of Ryan Bertrand's time under the watch of Rafa Benitez. For you it was really good, but can you back that up? If i remember correctly, he did okay when we're speaking about his defensive tasks, but what about the other part? He played 19 games in the Premier-League, zero assists or goals and his going forward was rather ordinary. I'm not the only one who doesn't rate his time very highly, look him up at "whoscored", his average score of that time is 6,48, not good enough! I think "whoscored" is a fair and square indicator, otherwise it could go too subjective. In Mourinho's first season back, his fullbacks were Azpilicueta and Ivanovic, both played really well. Ivanovic got a 7,29 -and Azpilicueta 7,26 in the league from whoscored, sorry, but at that time, could you really expect such a score from Bertrand? I don't think so. I read a lot about the argument "short term", Ivanovic lasted two seasons, can't expect from Bertrand to wait this long. Furthermore Filipe Luis, one of the best fullbacks in the world arrived at the club, so Bertrand was immediatly number 4. A young guy should be rewarded playing time, not possible when three guys are better than you, so the departure was the best thing for Chelsea and the player at that time. Last but not least, i think Bertrand has injury problems, can't rely on him all the time. You complain about some the recent dealings in the transfer market, i agree with you. But who is to blame here? Mourinho didn't rate Filipe Luis that highly, Baba has problems to get in the team, can you really held him responsible for buying them? I'm not so sure about it. Yes, Mourinho should have played Loftus-Cheek more during the pre-season. But he didn't and it shows that the 19 year old boy, inexperienced as fuck isn't ready yet to participate in, especially during this horrible spell. Yes, Mourinho did announce his rise some months ago, but a lot can change, we're not talking about linear development. I think his time will come, at 19 you still have time left to succeed... Rambo played a great match against Newcastle United, he really saved us. Mikel is a squad player who especially for the last minutes of a close match has his values. We have Hazard who is currently player of the year, Willian who is playing great stuff, Pedro who the jury is still out and young expensive prospects like Kenedy or Traore. Could Musonda earn a spot? Very difficult, but having him in the squad should happen as soon as possible. These pictures with Pogba should mean someting.^^ Oscar flopped so far, you must be available, injurys can't be an excuse for everything. Falcao is a similar case, didn't see that one coming, kudos to you i think. Here i can agree with you. We have to pull ourselves out of this misery, then we can talk about young players again. As i said before, not a normal situation, big fuck up. I think using experience isn't the baddest call to make. Long story short: Loftus-Cheek could have earned more playing time, Musonda and other guys should be in the squad. I don't want to pull a Pacquiao, have to agree with you. But i think every manager has his disadvantages, i for one hope that next season Jose will be still in charge and we can play more young guys. Most likely Ivanovic and Terry are gone, big if about Fabregas, Oscar, Pedro, Cahill and Remy, but there will be definitely more spots available and the situation won't be this dark. Now, i watch the rest of Palace against Sunderland, fingers crossed for a good performance by Zaha, need points in fantasy footie. Good talking to you.
  10. One of the best post's i have read so far in this forum. In the next polling for the guy with the best football knowledge you Sir are my man. [emoji4]
  11. For me Isco had lost control and the kick was absolutely unnecessary, the ball was long gone. You see it differently, so be it. Isco has his qualities, he is one of the best dribblers in the game and sometimes an absolute joy to watch. For such a talented player he is working hard and not afraid of putting in a defensive shift. Good on him! In my point of view, he often slows the play down, instead of passing he chooses the dribbling, his releasing of the ball is often too slow and so on. For me, James is the better player, he is more intelligent and really efficient in front of the goal, he definitely knows what he's doing. Have you seen those shots against Barca? They were extremely dangerous, masterclass saves from their goalie. James operates more vertically, excellent passes and never gives up. Poor decision from Benitez to subb him off, he clearly doesn't rate him, shocking! Agree to disagree, sorry mate. Apart from this, good to have you back.
  12. Trying to break Neymar's leg is disgusting. Isco was a nice prospect at Malaga, but has regressed ever since, maybe a change of air will do the boy some good. At least he is better than Coutinho.
  13. There aren't many things in life that bring you more joy than fishing for some cods. Staying calm and knowing that you are going to bring food to the table are very important in life.
  14. At that time Bertrand struggled badly under more than one manager to make an impact at Chelsea. Especially his offensive contribution was simply not good enough, sorry. Now he has found a place in the starting line-up for Southampton, maybe he has developed and matured, good for him. The departure was the best thing for him and Chelsea. Sometimes a young guy needs a new start to keep evolving, i made a similar experience in my "young" life. His fellow classmates could't keep the ground running for another top team, so the assessments from the executives haven't been that bad. Sadly, because it's always good to see a young guy going to the top. Chelsea has a lot of young talents, but most of them are very young: Clarke-Salter (18), Solanke (18), Loftus-Cheek (19), Colkett (19), Chalobah (20), Musonda (20) and so on. Bamford (22) himself prefered a loan, can't take that opportunity away from him. When you want to play for Chelsea, you need to be really good. Diego Costa, Remy and Falcao, sorry, but an unexperienced guy like Solanke or Bamford can't get enough playing experience. For me, for those guys it's really important to play week in and week out, Chelsea can't offer them that. A loan is the best thing that can happen to them. The striker's position is arguably the most difficult position to play in. In midfield Kenedy (bought, but young and doesn't know the league) gets more and more playing time. He's just ~19 years old, Mourinho's doing a great job. Loftus-Cheek is the next starlet, maybe he could have played more during pre-season, but he's getting there. There you have 2 gems. In defence, we alreday have two young guys: Zouma and Baba. So, a guy like Christensen wouldn't have got enough playing time, but at Gladbach it's possible and he's doing great. Who else who's currently out on loan would you have liked to be back at the Club? For me, there is no one. Pochettino did good at Southampton, but being at a bigger club is different. He is a good coach, but i have to see more consistency at the Yids before jumping on the bandwagon. Pochettino needed some time to kick-start his campaign, we'll see, where it will go. Could be a lot worse, i give you that.
  15. Let's evaluate him at the end of the season and then it's only one season, can he do it again? But yes, so far he is doing a good job and it's good to see some young players evolving... Is Loftus-Cheek that good yet? He's only 19 years of age, one can speculate all day, lol. Most of Chelsea's young prospects are still very young, assess them when they are a bit older, 18,19 is very young.
  16. Chelsea has a much higher ceiling than Dortmund. Dortmund plays for second place, this Bayern Munich team is something else, Dortmund won't overcome them any time soon. Chelsea is currently struggling, but it's very unlikely that it will be forever.
  17. Before the game i was a bit sceptical with seeing Ivanovic this early, but he proved me wrong, solid performance. Whoscored saw it too. For me it was the right decision from Mourinho. Slagging off Ivanovic is simple and in a lot of games this season he put in a poor performance. But what about Pedro? Again, piss poor performance, can't shoot on target to save his life. He really need to up his game, can't continue like this, i'm gutted so far. For me, he has been a flop! Didn't see that one coming...
  18. One game after the international games Azpilicueta had to sit on the bench. Sometimes you need to rest some players and give others a chance to prove themselves. We need to use all players and stop playing with ~13 guys. You're right, it's a possibility that from now on Azpilicueta has sit on the bench more and more often, but i don't believe it. For me Azpilicueta is one of the better players this season and with all due respect, drawing that conclusion after just one game seems way too early.
  19. He's getting there, no longer this aggressive and more interested in participating in the play. His recent performance i would call "unlucky", he often was in position and took the shot, finally he got his goal, really good for him. For me he's by far our best striker at the moment. Will be very interesting how he will cope with Spuds, unfortunately they haven't been poor so far, that need to change next week.
  20. Mourinho would be perfect for Real Madrid, he knows how to handle the media and gets the better of Barcelona. Real Madrid desperately needs to win back the championship, their domestic record has been dreadful over the last years. I watched the Clasico and what the fuck was Rafa's plan? For his work so far he needs to get the sack immediately, it's sad when someone loses his job, but he has been completely found out. Furthermore he has no idea what he's doing, why subbing James instead of Ronaldo, Bale or Benzema? SHOCKING
  21. Should have put it behind, but why no penalty for Costa? At least he is in the right position, could be worse when thinking about Mr.Torres. There will be a second half, only then should be the evaluation...
  22. Best news ahead of the upcoming match. fucking yes, get in there!
