In my view Pogba played a great first half but faded more and more away. For the record, Pogba wasn't bad overall. Vidal was very important and influencing the match, for example before Muller's goal to make it 2:2 he won the ball and played the decisive pass to Coman who then crossed it to Muller, the rest is history. Vidal started off slowly but in the last couple of weeks he has become key player. Great against Juve in both matches and great against Dortmund in the Bundesliga. I think he was worth the money. Best man to go to war with.

From what i've seen of Papy so far he seems like a decent player, especially his attacking contribution. Should have trusted him instead of Cahill. Vidal is a great player, i didn't want him because i thought that maybe his knee was damaged, but it seems still ok. He's getting better and better, no way that Bayern will sell him, at least not for the last price, it will be a lot more expensive... Cavani, Nainggolan and others are very good players, but do we really need to spend that big? Everyone knows those guys, but a good scout has to know more, players like Coman are up for the job too. The problem here is we don't award chances! Miazga is waiting, Musonda was waiting, similar to Aké, but we're ending up playing the likes of Cahill, Ivanovic, Oscar, Hazard and others. That's unbelievablely frustrating... Nowadys we have nothing to play for, no Aina i think Tottengam is after him and they almost always get it right these days and no Baba, what the actual fuck...

Cech is one of the best goalies who ever played the game, at least as far as i can remember, for me it's not an absolute necessity that Courtois isn't fit to lace Cech's boots. That's not a disgrace! People are a spoiled, playing the way Cech did here wasn't normal, it's not the standard, Cech oozes class, never ever said a bad word about anything, unrepeatable! Begovic also conceded for fun during his playing time here, he wasn't able to prevent the odd goal time and time again. The thing is, his last season at Stoke wasn't great too, he has regressed over the years there, at the end he made some mistakes and a lot of the Stokies were quite happy seeing him leave and making room for their new boy in town, Butland, who has been great so far by the way. Begovic is no Cech! I don't think Begovic can become as good as he was back in the day at Stoke. So i don't get why we should bench Courtois, he's the future and he's here to learn. I don't question his commitment, i think he gives his best, yes, he's currently not saving all of the shots, especially the one coming at the near post, but we shouldn't take away this perfect opportunity to learn, never ever do that to a young player, especially when there's nothing left to play for. Take a good look at some midfielders and defenders, some of them are too old to rejuvenate their game, we should play some young guys instead of them, i think that this is precisely the problem, not a couple of odd goals. Overall Courtois hasn't been so bad over the last two seasons here, has he? No 23 years of age Cech, but still quite good, imo.

Bring him back!

One could save some postings if Oscar comes back to life, people will love him again. Some people are already doing that for Hazard, maybe Gilvorak can do that in here. [emoji4]

It's always the same at the end of the day. A striker can miss a couple of sitters and is still allowed to get away with murder when he scores one goal. The life of a goalie is different, one fragility is enough to put him under the microscope. Now taking a look at the recent situation, Payet ran through Chelsea's midfield and was able to play a perfectly timed pass, Carroll was onside and completely alone, no defence whatsoever, so he had all the time in the world to wrong-foot the keeper. Make no mistake, Carroll is a proven Premier-League hitman, multiple clubs paid the big bucks for him, he knows how to score goals and in front of the goalie and being alone, there's not much you can do to prevent him from scoring. I know that in recent times there were occasions where Courtois should have done better, it's sometimes a similar thing happen all over again, but why so serious?! You say there is no excuse for that, okay, but what's your solution, would you bench him? I for one don't want to take away his opportunities to learn and improve his game. Sometimes a person especially a young one needs more time, i think we all been through such a situation in life and appreciated the patience others had with us. That's the mentality i want to see from Guus and therefore i'm a bit disappointed that he doesn't award more chances to young guys. We need more young guys out there who will make most certainly mistakes but that's the way they learn the fastest. We need to be ready for next season and because there's already nothing left to play for us, we can run some benchmarks and maybe while doing it crush Tottenham's title hopes, that's not too bad, i think. The flow must return, the fun, the attacking, we want more and more. That's one of the reasons why we let go off Jose, so change the playbook, just do it, Guus, no one will to be too harsh on our prospects.

No, because Cech also made mistakes! Was it really his fault? I don't think so, he made a couple of good saves today, just take a look at the freekick from Payet, wasn't that easy to stop. As i said before, Courtois isn't at his best, but we have much bigger problems than him.

Remy should be awarded a second chance, cut him some slack, please. But other players should have been playing instead of the likes of Ivanovic, Cahill, Oscar and so on.

Where is the youth? Guus wants the best possible league possition, take our rightful place in EL next season.
