I would quite happily upgrade alot of our players and of course I would start with our defenders. But surely if possible when a player of this standard might be available how could we not buy him given half a chance.

I still think he would have slotted in well but hes not one of those players I'll lose sleep over not getting. Nowt happening on the James front? With Conte wanting to use the 2 up front and HOPEFULLY we get the 2 defenders needed then we will be short of strikers. We know that only a miracle will keep Diego off the banned/injured list which leaves Bats - which is great - but wont have a partner unless of course we thro Eden up and Moses on LW. That would work good. Just dont put RLC up there.

Totally agree with all you say. But if he plays 1 set of players and sees that a couple just dont work well together would you expect him to pick those same lads the next game? From the couple Torino supporters Ive asked say hes a great defender they dont want to lose. They hated that Napoli were after him but if they were to sell him theyre glad its not to another Serie A team.

From what Ive asked of AC Milan supporters the lads amazing and say they would never sell him.
