Going back to when we was between managers the last time round there was 2 names that was being talked about alot by us Chels lot. Allegri and The Don. At the time there was harsh comments being said about both but I'm sure by now that he has convinced even the most vocal of those against him amongst us that hes doing a shit hot job. But when he came we were all expecting us to go into a 3-5-2 formation. We waited and waited but realized its not just as simple as that. It takes the right players and it was crystal clear we either didn't have them or the ones we do have weren't ready yet. I'm wondering now if Conte still has plans in our future to do this? After all it was his 2nd year at Juve he did it there wasn't it? This is going to be an amazingly big change from going from our current 3-4-3. Not so much for the back 3 or the WBs but it uses no wingers. And with Eden one of our only proper world class players this is a problem isn't it eh! So do we put him up front with Diego as 2nd striker, sell him or not change formation? Cause its just not on that he would be as patiant as Cescy is. Something that comes to my mind is Zidane. Hes cut his contract by 2 years to 2018 so just MAYBE hes got somewhere lined up for his next job?? We all know our Eden is an ambitios lad and hes also said he wouldn't leave us till we were winners. Well I'm not counting my chickens but we have just as good a chance as we ever have of being just that in the Dons 1st year with us. But IMHO Eden wont go anywhere until Zidane starts at a new club and snaps his fingers. Eden wopuld be off like a shot. That is of course we did go and become 'winners' So that leaves Eden with us at least next season. I think we will get at least some idea at what transfers we go for next month. (IF any at all) If we go spend alot of money on a much needed proper RW to balance Eden then I cant see a 3-5-2 any time soon. But if we get another top striker like eg: Sanchez or another top Central Midfielder eg: Veratti then the Dom just maybe pondering a 3-5-2. This would be one of the biggest changes the team has ever made if we take this jump. We are trusting Conte right now but would that continue if we went and sacrificed a world class player 'for the sake of the team'? You know what problems there will be so do we do it and what players do we change/buy/sell/uphrade to make it happen?

Hes not that over rated. Over rated is someone like RLC who we hyped toi the hilt and paid him £60 k a week to do fuck all and we cant sell him or loan him out unless we keep paying his wages!! And IF we did sell him we woul look like right twats for selling supposedly the blue eyed academy boy and saviour of our future. Whereas James is good and has proved himself even if hes been leapfrogged by others. I reckon he would work out. But iIF we do go buying some tip top RW it would mean we woyldn't be looking at a 3-5-2 anyt time soon.

My thoughts too mate. We know our young Eden is a lad with alot of potential and wants to make it to the top. Hes also said he wont go anywhere till we are a winning team. Well - just MAYBE the PL is in our near future which opens some questions up. And with RM lurking ..... But with idanes contract only till 2018 would he join them for such a short time or wait to see where Zidane goes next??

Eden is the only reason I cant see us swapping to 3-5-2. Having a 3 man midfield is a great thought and has some options. IF Cescy stays he needs to be in deep pocket playmaker mode. Sitting behind N'Golo/Matic with Luiz behind him. Getting the time and space he needs. But with only 2 strikers and WBs to aim at is it enough crerativity? If we put Veratti with the 2 lads all 3 can go forwards or back with Veratti having creativity enough too. But I really cant see us doing anything unless of course we win the PL this season and Eden goes. Its a really big step going from a 3-4-3.

IMHO IF we do even try to buy Sanchez it will point to Conte going for us going to a 3-5-2 iafter the summer. Like we have mentioned before Contyes swapped to a 3-5-2 in his 2nd season before. Hed make the perfect partner for Diego but I'm just wondering what that row of 5 would comprise of after 2 WBs. Jst where does Eden fit?? Thats the one thing that makes me say the 3-5-2 is out the question. Unless of course we stick him up front with Diego?? Your thoughts??

Its not a backup we want for Alonso its an upgrade and use Alonso as backup. This lad looks capable enough to do it maybe.

I think we was lucky not being able to sign him. But I do think if he had the right manager he could make a good player.

One player we have been crying out for ever since Eden came is a relly good RW. Just try counting how many we have had just since Eden came. A few eh. Its time we got ourselves a world class balance to take some of the pressure off Eden and put some much needed creativity in that area. We know Griezmans gonna be near on impossible and others will be waiting to see IF we are in Europe next season but iF the Don thinks he can make James into that guy we need then great. The apparent offer from China of £400k a week will determine whether its money he wants or trophies. I think maybe he wanted to leave the question of if he was gonna stay on iun North London or not until he found out if vinegar tits was staying or not and who would be replacing him. Have you noticed how the lads are so relaxed,calm,having fun pre match? I dont like to see it. We got the likes of Diego boing round the sides of the ground having selfies taken with the fans for fuck sake. Theyre far too nonchaloint. I wantr to see them growling, going out on the pitch like gladiators like theyre gonna rip some fuckers head off. We goit the likers oif Brom and Sunderland now thinking they got the answer to our system and holding us down that we have to fight fopr a win and thats nowt to brag about. MAYBE this using the same team game in gamew out is making the lads too cock sure just like Mou doing it even when we were playting total shite. OK its good the lads get to know each other but the hunger/urgency/attitude has gone and it needs to come back. IMHO any ways!

OK its great to see the guys having fun and enjoying their football again, it must be a good feeling for them. But theyre acting far too cool and relaxed. Watch them come out now. Theyre all smiling and relaxed. We got the likes of Diego going round the pitch to fans so they can take selfies with him ffs! I want them to come out like they’re Billy Big Bollox and want to rule the pitch and put the fear of god into whoever we play. We got the likes of Sunderland holding us to a 0-1 win so theres nothing to shout home about just yet. A few short weeks ago we would have run them ragged till they tapped out shouting mercy mercy!! I hate to say it but MAYBE we need a loss to shake them up a bit. I think just like the team did under Mou week after week of using the same side (even after weeks of playing shite) the starting 11 have become too relaxed as they dont have to fight for their places.

HG is a good plus cause we are gonna be fucked in that departent. Its going to ba a gamble with CBs isn't it? We are going t o have 3/4 strong young talented lads all wanting a place but will they be good enough for Europe yet? So do we buy in experience with a hopefully top class guy either soon or v early summer. Or really gamble on pre season with the younger element. I personally would buy in and keep a couple of the lads who would hopefully work for a place and be patiant. I'm not sure Ake woiuld be tho. Strikes me he wants out.

I know hes not lived up to the potential we hoped but the lads showed moments of pure genius that I thank him for.. His/OUR problem is/was that there just wasn't enough of them. I dont hate the guy but just like Mikel/RLC/Iva theyre just collecting dust and need upgrading. This thread tho is reminding me of Luiz's.
