Way I see it we have made enoygh out of Oscar to buy a player that will only cost us a few quid in this day and age. So whether we are going to buy him foir the present and get a great player at near his best form for 3 years or so then sell him to China and treble our investment then I'm all for it. Either that or we invest it on the future and buy a player that will stay and grow with the team. But in this day where the contract isn't worth the paper its written on and where its unusual for a player to stay the length of them then does it really matter? Its whoever Conte thinks will suit us the best. We have just had him make a dig at whoever bought Bats saying To spend for spending's sake, I don't like this. I prefer to buy players, adapt our system, people who can come into our team and pass. So Bats was obviously a board buy.

Doint know what the laws are in UK for importation but IF I was to ever send myself owt thru the post I'd stick someone elses name on it and have it sit there for a few weeks then open it far from home in case any trackers been added. We had a time where it was 'decriminalized' for posession under a certain amount but the cops still kept up their stop and search around where I live in South London. Theres so many doing homegrows now that we rarely import weed anymore and our homegrown is as good as you will find anywhere and so easy to grow. It takes money out of all the cartels and villains hands. But sayingf that theres also more groups of didicoys and pikeys going round robbing growers too.

I hear ya mate. I'm not an ageist but I would love to see us with a group of players with a good youngish average age so they can grow strong and play together for a good few years. With us right now tryinng to shift or upgrade a few over 30s its strange on buying another one. I know that theres players at top levels playing well into their late 30s and who knows, Vidal might be one. Hes certainly looking as fit as a butchers dog. But with our history of just giving a yearly contract over 30 it would be like a contradiction.
