What would you say was his best position and would he be better in that position than what we have already? Right now I think we either buy a starting upgrade for Alonso AND Cahill and POSSIBLY a CM And IF the right ones are available a RWB backup, a RW upgrade (repeat IFthe right one is available but no rush) and we need a ST. Preferably one of Diego class to give us the 3 5 2 option and to continue to push him. And one that Conte trusts! Might sound greedy or un necessary but if we intend on making a show in CL we really do need to upgrade.

I do like the guy he seems really nice. To me hes alot better going forward and not strong enough or good enough defending. Which as Gazza ius our weakest CB it makes our left side week with Eden also not good defending. So he needs upgrading (AND Gazza) but Im happy to keep im on as back up. Fingers crossed hes fit for Spuds - lets hope we get him either upgraded or a back up soon. Heres some stats for him that shows he hasn't been too bad.

Way I see it we have made enoygh out of Oscar to buy a player that will only cost us a few quid in this day and age. So whether we are going to buy him foir the present and get a great player at near his best form for 3 years or so then sell him to China and treble our investment then I'm all for it. Either that or we invest it on the future and buy a player that will stay and grow with the team. But in this day where the contract isn't worth the paper its written on and where its unusual for a player to stay the length of them then does it really matter? Its whoever Conte thinks will suit us the best. We have just had him make a dig at whoever bought Bats saying To spend for spending's sake, I don't like this. I prefer to buy players, adapt our system, people who can come into our team and pass. So Bats was obviously a board buy.

The change thats occured in peoples (football supporters AND media/pundits) has been a 180" turnaround. We are making the normal supporter look forwards to watching us and Ive never heard that in my life. Going from Contes open charasmatic character to his man management methods he uses thats got all the players believing in him and his ways amd who have made them believe in themselves once again. Its just a great time to be Blue. But football supporting is a very fickle thing isn't it. You just watch how the bandwagon can turn like a snake at that 1st drop of blood. That first loss we have you will see us shredded. There will be questions like Was Chelsea just lucky and shit like that. The world loves building someone/something up and take great pleasure in tearing it down again. I'm just not used to this out pouring of love towards us.
