I remember a vid of him when he 1st joined us and liked him ever since. He came across really like a nice guy who would do all he could for anyone. And very humble. The Don said he could turn him into one of the best CBs going and many of our supporters gave a titter and tho he might not be the best I'm more than happy that we got him. Lets see if he gets a strong guy to his left it will make any difference.

The Times: Moshiri standing between Lukaku and Everton exit Lukaku stunned Everton last week by telling the club he will not sign a new contract Romelu Lukaku has already regaled everyone with the strikers he regards as the best on the planet or, as he succinctly put it, “[Luis] Suarez, [Robert] Lewandowski, [Karim] Benzema, [Edinson] Cavani. That’s it. I’m not looking at the rest. No chance.” So, it would be interesting if he ever reels off the names of his toughest opponent. Perhaps Vincent Kompany and John Terry would feature. What about Farhad Moshiri? Everton turned down a £70 million bid from Chelsea last summer for Lukaku with Moshiri newly ensconced at Goodison Park as the club’s major shareholder. Almost 12 months on, there is no suggestion the Iranian billionaire is about to roll over and wave the forward through the exit door despite his apparent eagerness to move on. This is the new Everton that Lukaku is signed up to for the next two years. A club intent on challenging their rivals and one for whom Lukaku’s value is best measured in a blue jersey rather than a fantasy figure transfer fee that would simply swell an already considerable kitty. Of course, it is true that the player’s agent, Mino Raiola, has a habit of making deals happen and delivering what buying clubs — and his clients — want. Raiola was a guest last Thursday at the London premiere of Everton chairman Bill Kenwright’s new film “Another Woman’s Son” and was spotted in conversation with Moshiri and, briefly, manager Ronald Koeman. Yet it was Kenwright and Moshiri who were sat together. They share the tightest of bonds and the strongest of desires to re-establish the Merseyside club as a force. Chelsea will be back and there is plenty about a return to Stamford Bridge that will appeal to Lukaku There is no smoke and mirrors about Lukaku’s unwillingness to sign the most lucrative contract in Everton’s history at £140,000 a week. It is not about release clauses. The subject has not featured during discussions with Everton having made clear at the outset of talks that one would not be entertained. They have steadfastly refused to insert them into contracts ever since reluctantly agreeing to Marouane Fellaini’s demands for an exit figure which led to his move to Manchester United in 2013 [ironically, United CEO Ed Woodward ended up paying more than he would have needed to a few weeks earlier as Kenwright showed himself to be negotiator extraordinaire once more]. This is purely about Lukaku, who is proving himself worth in the region of the £89 million fee United paid for Paul Pogba, wanting to play in the Champions League. It is an ambition of which he has hardly made a secret. “I have been playing [professionally] since I was 16 and never had a taste of the Champions League. It is going to be seven years. You think about it,” he said in March last year, almost 12 months to the very day last week when he repeated that sermon. He is in a hurry to succeed and his numbers as a goalscorer are quite exceptional. Chelsea will be back and there is plenty about a return to Stamford Bridge that will appeal to Lukaku, three years after his permanent exit. Yet he should be wary of Koeman’s comments in the aftermath of the interview, which appeared in The Times and underlined where the 23-year-old marksman sees himself and caused such a furore. “I am not so afraid of his situation because the player has two more years on his contract,” said Koeman, who has started speaking like the manager Evertonians would expect him to be after the faux pas earlier in his tenure. “Of course that gives me confidence. Everyone knows what can happen in football, but you need to respect your contract. “The final word is always to the board of the club and if we don’t sell the player, we don’t sell the player. The people in the club are really strong enough to keep something and, if we go to that direction, it’s the final decision for the board of the club.” Moshiri has blocked Lukaku’s departure once. An interesting summer looms. It looks like Everton are going to be cunts about this. And with Rom not resigning contract I suppose he will have to push for the move he wants.

So Roms shit, Roms unproven, Roim only scores against shit teams. Lest we forget I wouldn't mind a wanker like that playing for the team I want to rule Europe. I'll ask agaon. Wassup with sticking him on RW and giving him the same freedom Edens got and let all 3 of them go crackers.

One less we have to worry about coming baxk injured.
-
If Conye has decided he wants him then its good enough for me. If anyone can tell if a CM is good enough to play with us then its Conte. All thays supposedly happened so far is personal terms are agreed. Summer is a long way off . But seeing as ?I dont know very much at all about him, from what Ive read, seen, read your commenys he seems pretty good.
-
Maybe his calf injury is worse than we thought. Or Tite head doesnt like him? But might go deeper as he wasn't selected for the Copa America neither. Maybe its a Chelsea thing? We did have quite a few of their players at one time which you would think was a benifit all playing together regularly. But with Diego opting for Spain who knows what goes on with team selection lol

Or at least an organized event! Which Premier League club has the most international call-ups? What I find interesting is theres only 1 Italian in the PL http://www.skysports.com/football/news/12040/10808673/which-premier-league-club-has-the-most-international-call-ups

How can you say that? Or was it sarcasm? If so ignore rest We hardly have a drop of creativity and what we do have (Cescy) we hardly utilise. We only really have Luiz that can get the ball forward from the back and the majority of the time he tries to boot it up looking for Diego. We dont have any in CM. Our 2 lads are great defensive wise but neither really a B2B. Even with Matic getting a couple of assists and N'Golo finding his way to the final 1/3 more often we dont have anyone to partner N'golo to get thru solid defences. We need a strong technical CB who can dribble himself safe to pass it forward and not just boot it clear and dreferably one that can get air and a solid link up with our CMs. Our top 3 are not getting the ball often enough and we need to find ways to do it.
-
I just cant see him being the answer we need right now. Theres no doubting the lads going to have a great career and prob the best player at BM but we need a creative, technical CB. Someone who is not only strong defensively but is comfortable on the ball and able to take the ball upfield some to start an attack. Andreas is strong defending but as far as offence he isn't strong enough yet. It would be good for us to keep him on now and carry on his training etc on site unless he gets a year at a PL side who could work on him and still get regular playing time.|Caue I cant see him coming back to sit on the bench with his parents and Thorgen bending his ear. I think he would be good on ariel set pieces tho with the right training. https://streamable.com/lvomu

I think Willian did a pretty fair job as his stand in V Stoke TBH but its hard for anyone to replace Eden when hes feeling it. Our/His problem is that he needs to start looking for that switch that turns himself on when he/we need him. You watch Eden when he comes out. If hes on you see the cheeky chappy, dancing, laughing thinking "I'm the dogs dangleys" and hes on fire. But then theres times he comes on with that the lights on but nobodys at home look. Hes definitely got some personal doubts but why? Hes the main force of the leading team in the toughest league there is. His manager, team mates and supporters think hes made from Unicorn tusk and the sun shines from his arse. What more incentive, love, power does a player need to do his bollox every week.
-
So who would you say had scored the most goals by headers this season? I'll give you a clue its not us! We only have 5! Give in? Take a butchers, You won't believe which Premier League side has scored the most goals from headers WHICH Premier League side has scored the most goals from a header? http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/781694/Premier-League-statistics-goals-headers-sportgalleries

Not so good, Eden Hazard sidelined for up to two weeks with calf injury http://www.sportsmole.co.uk/football/chelsea/injury-news/news/hazard-sidelined-for-two-weeks-with-calf-injury_294239.html

The trouble we supporters have is all we can do is guess. We would get a better idea of what he had in mind IF we knew the players that he was trying / had tried to get. Bur as we dont normallt find out the players he tried for till months after it leaves us coming up with loadsa daft conclusions. All Id like to see is us not penny pinching and going for a standard of player to fit into the 1st team, And hopefully he will be the one pulling the strings and not 2 penpushers who are glorified salespersons, Let them do the schmoozing and paperwork which theyre good at.
-
I was thinking maybe 4-2-4 which is what he was wanting to start with. As for Mou he never got shouted at or slagged off (by most of us) on his 1st visit back. We even sang his name ffs. All the shit got stirred up after he himself started slagging off everything Chelsea. Who knows if it was tongue in cheek or his BS mind games. What it does is leaves a bitter taste in your mouth and removes some of that shine from the great memories we had together. I dont hold any grudges or bad feelings to him but till he leaves Manvland or starts remembering us for wshat we did thenhe is just like any other Manc and can fuck off! This is how your proper Chelsea supporter feels after a win and the epitome of excitement!
-
I dont think Willian got the love he earned against Stoke. I thought the lad had a pretty good game and the goal he scored was a cracker.
-
Sorry but Im still not feeling him. I do think hes looking a little less like Bambi on ice skates but dont see any reason why he shouldn't be out on loan learning how to do it week in week out. Tho as we are in dire need of HG players he will probably end up keeping the bench warm again unless he wants out come summer.

Suso (Ex Bindipper) Exclusive: Milan, Suso has attracted the interest of Chelsea and Juventus CHELSEA HAVE INTEREST - According to Calciomercato.com sources, in the past few days Chelsea have been involved on the Suso front. Conte likes him a lot and has added him to his wish-list for next summer's transfer market. The Blues would like to bring him back to the EPL but talks are only at an initial phase as of now. Juventus are another club who like him a lot as Marotta wants to add an offensive winger to his team (they also like Bernardeschi very much so). http://www.calciomercato.com/en/news/milan-suso-is-having-a-great-season-as-chelsea-and-juve-have-str-29772

Will be a toughie I think The Sun: Bournemouth have seen a bid rejected for Ake after a successful loan spell at Dean Court earlier this season. That leaves the door open for Southampton to target him if fellow Dutchman Van Dijk makes the move to Stamford Bridge. Landing VVD will cost more than £50million as Saints chairman Ralph Krueger is determined to keep him and has tied his player to a deal with five years left to run.
-
I've never disliked the old gurner. His character is what our players need to have more of. Not one of us doubts ih love, passion and enthusiasm for the club but this really can't be a time for sentiment. If we could keep him on the bench to just use for set pieces then great, keep him. But unfortunately our defence needs more than Gazza can give us and he needs upgrading. Also I cant see Ake,Christensen or sadly Happy having enough to help us in Europe neither. Whether Christensen will be good enough to keep to work with we shall see. But Contes got some big decisions to make and this is one.
