With the schedule we have and the rest Hazard doesn’t get,he is bound to get injured in the coming games.And then the season will be over.

To put the season into perspective,we are just 2 points short of the tally we had with Mourinho at the same stage of 2013/2014 season. Sarri needs another summer and the full backing of the board.We are still in top 4 while undergoing the biggest philosophy transition a football club can experience.Guardiola barely managed to get a CL spot in his first season and he inherited a squad that was much closer to his ideas.

It was offside,one of the replays showed it clearly. We are playing against a weakened side and we barely even threaten them.This is all on Sarri.We saw in the past couple of games that the creativity produced by this line-up kept fading away but Sarri decided to be stubborn again and did fuck all.Fabregas’ instant impact was in a stark contrast to what Barkley displayed with his safe sideways passes .And keep in mind out of the whole starting midfield the the latter should be the closest thing to a number 10.

Great...we are struggling even with the throw ins...

The problem today wasn’t the midfield.Jorginho actually made some very good interceptions in the first half and Kovacic IMO had one of his best games. We just don’t use the wide areas when we attack.We are either trying to penetrate through the center(but we don’t have the proper striker to hold the ball ) or wait for Willian/Pedro to come up with something.Our full-backs can’t beat a man 1v1 if their lifes depended on it because of their lack of speed and lack of any dribbling skills.And every world class full-back i can think of is both fast and a very good dribbler. We have enough time until next season to resolve “the full-back problem” but I am not sure our club can do it.

This team needs training so badly.We managed to get that many points in the past few months because of the excitement that this new style brought.But right now we are at a stage of the season when the routines and the patterns are what gives you the points.

Barkley and RLC are good squad players but nothing more IMO. They can be amazing at times but consistency is not there. And being a starter is all about consistency.
