Having a sabbatical away from TalkChelsea

Guys I'm only taking a little time off. I just think it's all OTT and everyone needs to cool off (inc me, too). 2 weeks ish and all this will blow over and I will be back. Hahaha mate dm if I do :blue scalf: If I'm a drama queen fine, whatever floats your boat, man. Ooh and a dig at me too, you're a big boy. -
Good evening members. I am taking the decision to take some time away from the forum. I feel that I need some time away because the community has degraded (even from November odd, when I joined) to the point where it is just moan after moan after consecutive moan. Nobody is protected. From Willian to Cahill to Oscar to even Mr. Jose Mourinho, who presided over the most successful period in club history, who is apparently a one trick pony with wicked tactics and tortures the team doctor in his spare time. It's simply ridiculous, it's gone too far, and is simply asphyxiating the community. So hopefully things will get better when I come back. Maybe Roman will be next. Having said that though I probably won't be able to resist the urge to lurk now and again - I'll probably be back within 3-4 weeks smh. Unless someone awesome *ahem Reus ahem* signs, then I might well come back early. I'm sure nobody will miss me that much. Cheers Curly.

You're all taking this whole incident out of proportion.
-
(allegedly)
-
Why? Because he was annoyed with her on a professional basis of a decision he was not pleased about? Yes he was partially wrong but I can tell you that his relationship with Roman won't be severed over a fucking doctor. Furthermore, how does anybody know that the reshuffle was not imminent before Eva-gate? Nobody would even care if it was a bloke, probably something along the lines of 'take it on the chin you wuss'

Yeah I agree. Obviously hooliganism had gone a step too far and maybe Heysel was that turning point, but honestly it's not supposed to be like a family outing to the theatre, it's supposed to be a show of passion. Family centres are, imo, a con which removes one of the important elements of the game (singing), creating a sterile, boring experience. But that's the direction the game is going - the new stadium only has something like 5,000 more seats for normal people, the rest are all either overpriced seats or corporate boxes so the club can squeeze more money out of you. It's not a game anymore, really, I guess. It's a business. I don't honestly see the point in going if you're just gonna sit on your arse and not get involved. You may as well watch on Sky. There needs to be some changes. Safe standing. Singing stands. More season tickets. More youth tickets. Maybe confine the posh boys, families etc to West Stand and have the East as a kind of middle ground. And the away fans there too. Edit oh and we should all boycott this club members seating bollocks - those seats should be ST or GA.

@Styles you must surely be trolling
-
I think Cech is available
-
Did anybody expect anything else... the FA does not re-referee.
-
And mine. Phenomenal CB pairing of Zoum Zoum-Varane maybe might even top Carvalho-Terry. But we'd have to pay Ronaldo levels of money for him.
-
This. I guarantee that journalist just pulled that whole story out of his arse.
-
Varane's market value may well be 50m euros but to Real Madrid he will be worth more - he is their future at CB. I think a world record bid would be needed to pry him away - possibly £70 or 80m.
-
Cahill for some reason is not rated here - I understand why (Zouma looks better not because of Cahill's failures but because his more athletic build can support JT more), and Stones is certainly not that good. And would suffer the same problem.
-
Cahill is better than Stones, by quite a margin. OT, my issue with buying him is that young Andreas Christensen has hardly put a foot wrong for the club but yet the club is willing to terminate his career in favour of an overpriced prospect. JT is good at least as a backup for 2-3 more seasons, and in that time, honestly I'd prefer to see him phased in rather than buying, subject to him doing well on his loan of course.
-
IF we buy Stones, maybe in lesser cup matches we will see both of them. Stones-Cahill/JT-Zouma-Baba Or Azpi-Stones-Zouma-Baba, for example.
-
It's common for a CM to play RW at times - like Ramsey at Arsenal, Ramires here, Iniesta/Cesc in that period at Barcelona... I can't see it working very well, though, with a player like RLC...unless Jose would like him to sit in the middle third and act as an RB when Iva goes forwards. (Could you please merge with the post above, cheers)
-
I'd imagine it means that teams have shown interest but nobody have indicated they would be interested to press ahead with the transfer.
-
TBF, though, before 10 men we looked in control. Had Courtois not been sent off I reckon my 3-1 prediction would have been accurate, imo.
-
I think I'll take it. The moaning on every forum and not just this one needed someone to tell em to put up or shut up for once, with all due respect of course - I thought it would be questionable regarding rules.
-
I'll be first to admit that I was too hard on Gazza in that Crimbo period and maybe I was blaming him for failures of the RB to defend adequately. I think ultimately at the end of next season (this season should be where we get a proper RB, not replacing JT) Jose will have to choose; extend JT's shelf life as a starting CB by playing the pacier Zouma next to him or drop him and play Zouma next to Cahill

Can you fucking cunts just shut the fuck up. Mourinho 3rd season syndrome? After a contract extension and a double, all because he had a flash if temper at the doctor. a mini altercation that behind closed doors he has probably already apologised for. Probably fuelled by the draw with 10 men against Swans. Looking for a scapegoat, it's fucking embarrassing. But yeah clearly Roman wants Jose out after getting him back in and eating a massive slice of humble pie in the process and winning him trophies. He's right to be irritated the club has ripped up the cheque book, even if it is for the right reasons overall, from his position capital restrictions are always bad. Maybe we should try and employ Arsene Wenger, he works well with a short budget, especially with that brilliant result on Sunday. Or Pelligrini after beating the mighty WBA 3-0. Maybe Ranieri will come back, after all he is top of the league! Or Rafa fucking Benitez because he won us the Europa League! Wow. As for that RM saga let's just remember that he only left because key players turned against him because he thought the existing goalie was sub par. A technical impossibility with this team considering he built the class of 04 and was tasked with dismantling it. Tldr you people can stick the last ~3 pages up your arses.

Will not be rescinded. FA made a point of not "re-refereeing" games. Plus Bego is a top keeper, no worries about being in his hands.
