  1. Pff it was an "orange" card. It's been given as a yellow before, it was a very light shirt pull and had he not done that there would be no dispute. The striker was looking for it though, that little contact does not usually make you go down. Meh, I'm not worried.
  2. Baba isn't fit, we have no other fullbacks to play
  3. Stewards are complete wankers at Wembley, think they're military police...
  4. I'd imagine that Jose would not accept having for than 6 players for 3 positions. Maybe Traore will be considered as a striker.
  5. The article on the club website (alternative action i think its called) is a good read.
  6. Well, it's pretty simple really, isn't it. Either me and Gilvo were correct in saying that the lack of pre season has stopped Oscar being consistent in the latter part of the season, and his goals go up to 15 or so and his assists accordingly (good for an AM) or he bottles it and he fucks off this time next season.
  7. Lol it's like one of those Mourinho face masks the club shop sells
  8. yes he is. He was in the top 5 last season of our goalscorers. And he shoots outside the box.
  9. For another 50m euros we could probably pry away Messi... and for the same price persuade BVB to sell Reus...
  10. Why would you have Willian in the 10 ahead of Oscar... here's an idea, offload Willian instead. With Ivanovic being phased out of RB he is now redundant.
  11. why the fuck would you pay 120m euros for Pogba, he is not worth that much - ffs Bayern got Vidal for £30m or about 50m euros. In fact I'd wager we could get Koke for that sort of money. Oh yeah and get rid of Oscar, the only player who has looked Chelsea quality since pre season too. He is so under-appreciated here it is unbelievable. Matic-Pogba-Oscar, on the other hand, for big games...sounds much better.
  12. Ugh, Oscar and Moses out again. Probably Pedro for Ramires and other than that the same 11 then.
  13. The only reason I can think of for not replacing MikelRamires is that Jose wants to integrate this kid soon.
  14. Please no Fabregas at no 10 Please no Fabregas at no 10 Please no Fabregas at no 10 Please no Fabregas at no 10 He either plays deep or he doesn't play at all. Bego Azpi Gaz JT Baba Matic Oscar* Cesc Pedro Costa Hazard *if fit, otherwise Willian Bench: Tibo, Zouma, Iva, Mikel, Willian, Moses, Remy If Cesc underperforms again he should be dropped.
  15. I honestly can't believe Jose did not make an approach for Vidal - he has the marks of Essien, one of the best midfielders ever to play for Chelsea before Ghana destroyed him with poor treatment and many consequential, consecutive knee injuries (imo). Fabregas is a notable exception, honestly I think his purchase was due to the lack of availability of Koke than any other reason. Barcelona sold him to us on the cheap for a reason, I guess. A midfielder that lives in a bubble. Which baffles me further as to why he would not buy a Vidal to add more protection for him. Still. There are solutions to this - City face a similar problem in the pivot of Toure-DM, a lazy midfielder who doesn't like to run backwards. They get around it by attacking and crossing their fingers the opposition either sit back or are in such a dysfunctional state that they cannot string a set of passes together. Arsenal do something similar with Cazorla-Coquelin. It's also why they collapse when they come up against teams with equal attacking prowess and/or a defensive midfield/defence with any pace and recovery players. IE City vs Barcelona 2014-15 CL both legs (Busquets, Rakitic, Iniesta, MSN), CFC vs Arsenal SB 2013/14 (Matic-Luiz-Oscar). To be honest I have a hunch that both Ramires and Fabregas would not have played had Oscar and Moses been available, Jose is not blind, he sees the weaknesses (unless it's Ivanovic), and Matic-Willian-Oscar midfield is a lot closer to a traditional Jose Mourinho midfield than Matic-Cesc-#10. Cesc is fantastic for breaking down bottom 10 teams, less effective for 5-10 teams, and a fucking liability for the top 4 sides. Which is also why the whole "Oscar fell out with Mou and therefore the injury is a lie" conspiracy does not wash with me.
  16. Imo Fabregas will have to be given a Pirlo role if we want to continue to play him in bigger matches - that is, playing behind 2 athletic midfielders who can recover for him and basically be his legs and tackling ability. (ex used: Vidal. I suppose Willian could go there in emergencies.) Cesc *Vidal* Matic Oscar The downside is that it will end in Hazard being shoehorned into a second striker role, supporting Diego Costa in attack. Which could either end well or badly for him. It could also spell the beginning of the end for Iva, JT in defence as it will be impossible to protect them when 2 midfielders already have to do the work of 3, let alone be 30% of the defence.
  17. Terry is a one club man. The day he is released is the day he retires.
