  1. Agree, they are different. But still want to compare them since they play on same position.
  2. I judged by last Fabregas season, when he had those crazy assists. I think Fabregas has more key passes (as WhoScored status shows), that's why I gave him advantage. With more skillful I can agree. So I guess Gundo is even more better.
  3. Would be ideal for partnership with Matić. Only 25. Would give 40 millions for him. Let's compare him with Fabregas: Passing Cesc > Gundo Speed Cesc << Gundo Body strength Cesc << Gundo Tech/Skill on the ball Cesc ~ Gundo Stamina Cesc < Gundo Shot Cesc < Gundo Overall defense ability Cesc << Gundo Age Cesc << Gundo Corners Cesc > Gundo From what I saw. Agree?
  4. I don't think he wants to leave. Why would he? He is vice-captain, playing when he is good, playing when he is shit.
  5. I don't think he was bad, but not good either. This is season for him to prove he can be starter, or to prove he is just a squad player/not a Chelsea material. Not so good so far.
  6. Axel Witsel, if the price is right. Going for good centre-back or Pogba would be too hard and too expensive in January. EDIT: Now I see there are rumors about Dembele. He would be good for us too. EDIT2: Ok, I see Pogba and Reus tops this poll. But don't forget that that way of thinking got us where we are today, transfer-wise. I say - let's set realistic goals. I'm sure top priority is box-to-box midfielder. Dembele is older but cheaper, Witsel is younger but more expensive. Either should do.
  7. Great ball-playing striker is what we need. Would be good for evolution of our attacking play too. It just makes sense. Player like Aguero, Suarez. From 2005. to 2012. we had physical squad - Ballack, Lampard, Essien, etc. and Drogba was great for that. Now we have great ball-playing squad - Hazard, Willian, Fabregas, even Matić is not bad for a DMF so striker with good tech and dribbling would fit us great. EDIT: But not only dribbling/tech. He need to have other quality too. Either some of strength and height (Ibra-like), or some speed (Aguero, Suarez like).
  8. Do you know what striker type is worst for Chelsea? Classic give-me-great-ball-do-everything-for-me-and-I'll-always-tap-it-in number 9. Past his prime Shevchenko, Torres etc. Chelsea doesn't have attacking play needed for that kind of a striker. I firstly thought that Costa was different, that he can do things by himself... But he just can't.
  9. It says about both. It's not so easy to be WAY better performer than Begović and Azpilicueta who are decent.
  10. Yes, but what if Costa's departure is condition for getting some other great, maybe world-class striker? Money or *put-another-reason-there-are-plenty* wise. Yes, we can have Remy and Costa competing for place. But can we have Costa and Cavani fighting for place? With our recent policy - I don't think so. EDIT: Don't get me wrong, I WANT him to work his shits out. He is not my type of a player, I don't like him so much, but if he can be good for a club, I'll be happy that he succeeds.
  11. If he continues playing like this whole season, I want him out in the summer. When you take all good with the bad... Yeah.
  12. Ok, football-wise. 1. Start playing 2 natural fullbacks. That will bring much needed width, especially in our squad with no natural wingers. So, Azpi and Baba, or Azpi and someone new. 2. Bring quality box-to-box midfielder in january. Fernandinho-like player. Maybe Witsel, or I don't know. With that 2 we would solve 80% of squad problems. Bring one great centre back and then it's 95%.
  13. Vidal is not temporary solution, he IS the solution. I just want to say how little we need to make this squad much more solid and balanced. That one player worth 20-30 millions who would be just little bit more creative than Matić, little bit more defensive solid than Fabregas, and that he is a high-tempo player with good physicals.
  14. It's a pitty that, if we only had a bit better box-to-box, high-tempo midfielder than Ramires to play alongside Matić, we would have a solid midfield. Imagine Ramires with just bit better technical skills. Player like Fernandinho. Ramires is now on top of his game, and he is still very bad at passing and attacking in general. This against Dynamo was really close to the best we can expect of Matić - Ramires pairing. It will be good enough for most of the games, but definitely not all. And that new player would cost in region of 20-25 mil, and would be a temporary solution.
  15. Bon apetit, then. Kidding. We'll see.
  16. --------------- Costa --------------- Hazard ----- Oscar ----- Willian ------ Matić ------ Fabregas ------ Baba -- Terry -- Zouma -- Azpi ----------- Begović ----------------- I can see Ramires starting with Oscar benched too. RLC maybe but doubt it. As for Cahill, I don't think Mou will change clean-sheet defense.
  17. This thread is most depressing ever. EDIT: I don't think this is whole story, that Mourinho doesn't play him just cause "he is bad in tracking back". I think Mourinho thinks that Hazard doesn't need to track that much, but only IF he is giving us what is needed in attack. He is obviously not doing that. So if you can't provide where you usually provide, provide us with something else. Either goals (0 goals) or all-round fighting and work. Our defense is so shitty this days and I can understand why we can't risk having a liability upfront. On the other side then, I don't know what to think about Fabregas and playing him anymore, really. I think he is playing him because he still can with one good pass resolve a game in our favor (like couple of times this season) and maybe is a BIT better in defending then Eden - Hazard can't resolve game unfortunately with anything that he does this days. Comments by Mou were harsh, and I'm sick of them. But I truly hope so that Jose explained himself to Eden privately in a way I wrote it in this post. This is really becoming a nightmare, and even a big Mourinho lovers (like myself) are getting tired of his shits. And I'm not even talking about playing Ivanović (Baba is actually really poor too) or Fabregas, I can deal with that, I'm talking about his whole relationship with everyone. Players, stuff and fans. Passion is fading. No passion on field, off field, and in no time some fans will lose some of their passion for the club too. He owes us a lot. I am hoping, for a love of God, that Hazard plays today and plays great. And Mourinho not to open his mouth after the game. Or that he praises him, of course.
  18. This injury might be good for Chelsea, but for Ivanović himself too. Because he is mostly embarrassing himself at the pitch this days, and it's sad to see such a great player fall like that and not being benched.
  19. Even Goal.com (not so relevant, but still) is giving him 3,5/5 for that game, despite missing a penalty, I guess he did ok.
  20. Don't know, maybe. Didn't notice that on Diego, tbh. But I think it's cool he said what he said.
  21. He admitted he was overweight. And said that this is 100% on players not performing good.
  22. Diego took one for the team. Truth is coming out, finally.
  23. You can't compare Terry, he was already 10 years at the club in age of 25. Nothing against Thibo, I just see more leadership in Azpi, along with that he is longer in club and a bit older.
  24. This is only his second year in the club and he is 23. So... Also, I don't like GK's as captains, but that's only my personal preference.
  25. I know, but who else? Willian, Fabregas?
