  1. I don't understand those Spurs. I guess their players, bar Kane, are a bit overrated. Especially Dele Alli. How could you win your UCL group, beat Real and Dortmund, and after that do this. 3rd place is the best they can hope for this season.
  2. You are writing faster than I can think. Post here, post there, cannot keep up most of the time.
  3. One player doesn't prove much when there are another 30-50 players that have fallen by the wayside through the same process. I know that, only saying - it's possible, and not that unlikely at all.
  4. This guy will prove 3 things: 1. Our youth system can be trusted (spent 3 years at our academy) 2. Our loan system can be trusted (spent 2 good years in Germany) 3. Integrating our young players in our first XI is possible (played 3 games from the start, played a lot of games overall) He is all the things we wanted for years.
  5. Just watched interview, he said it was shot, not a cross. Man, oh man.
  6. Well, in this game it was obvious that he have done great work and if there were better players around him, we would've beaten Liverpool at Anfield. Also, our time with Eden's patience is running out. ------------------------- I just wish there was something that we, fans, could do about it.
  7. I know. But until summer 2019 could be enough to make things better around here, that's what I'm saying.
  8. Nah, I think Conte will stay for 3 years. We were never stable about our managers, but I don't know... He is just handling everything so well. I don't believe they would sack him. And I think he would like to stay at least for 3 years, signed in contract. EDIT: If he leaves after 3 years, I think he will leave club in better state than it is in now.
  9. Also... I think Conte is one very smart man. He is seeing this, I believe more than us. He knows Eden needs better players around him. I just hope he could manipulate our board and convince them to invest in better players. He is not just some pragmatic manager... He was always saying that "we are building something very important for the future". Well, I am sure he is counting on Hazard for that future too, a lot. If anyone can do something about Hazard staying, it's Antonio Conte. Hope is still here, and we shouldn't give up until the end... Getting over him would be too hard for anyone related to CFC. Actually, it would be diametrical opposite feeling of winning the UCL 2012. We launched ourselves at stars that year. With him leaving, we are just going back to mediocrity.
  10. Some may say that we are playing with 5 defenders, but remember that every of that 5 defenders have some quality going forward, unlike Mourinho's team. Azpi has great cross, Christy is great passer and decent on the ball, Alonso and Zappacosta have decent dribble or cross here and there... Moses is ok dribbler and Rudy is decent on the ball too. No need to mention Luiz. Mourinho had Ivanoviฤ‡, Cahill, Terry and Azpi out of the position. Those 4 never did anything else than defending. Our team may look very negative on paper sometimes, but don't ever compare this to Mourinho.
  11. First half was just Messi-esque. Best player Chelsea ever had, I think. It's unbelievable what a chance we are having for years now, to build squad around this little magician. And we are doing nothing. Just add something here and there, and we did fucking nothing. I would trade last season's league title for much better last summer window, with likes of Sandro, Griezmann etc. coming in. I am sure that would convince him to stay. I mean, when he leaves us, that 2017 title will be our last title for years and years to come. We need a miracle transfer window to keep him at the club, IMO.
  12. Sell him to Milan for 25 millions, if possible.
  13. Never in this season I thought Conte was a sole responsibility for a bad result. This 1-1 draw is on him. I mean ok - no Cesc from the start, that's not a such a bad decision. But after 55 minutes, after it was clear that we need something more, after it was clear that Bakayoko isn't good enough and that either of Bakayoko or Drinkwater should go out, Conte still keeps them on the field and does nothing. It was all too obvious and he responded way way too late.
  14. Good God, what a game by our (vice)captain! Those blocks were just something else, one of the best defenders in the league.
  15. I am not even sad that we lost (two points), glad that we didn't lose, 3rd or 4th place is our reality and that's it. I am just sad because Eden will some day soon have enough of this shit and leave. And then we'll be in deep shit.
  16. I too don't understand decision to leave Cesc on the bench. I think we were just so much better at the times, and just missed little push (like some cool move from Cesc) to get in a lead. Strange.
  17. Truth is - there were 4 strikers at the market, Aubameyang, Morata, Lukaku and Belotti. And it turns out neither of them is great striker actually. Sent from my HTC Desire S using Tapatalk
  18. I'm afraid that we still have a lot of work to do at the market in next windows, so that we cannot aford letting some of our standard good first XI members to leave. We need to pursue two wingbacks, attacking player, maybe even midfielder if Baka doesn't improve enough. And add to all that pursuing a top keeper? Smells like another sad summer already. 19. Him and Neymar are knocking at that *second best player* door, with displays like this. Give him all the money he wants, he could be the best player of our history, alongside Lampard, if he continues like that. Don't sell at any price, play hardball, do anything what it takes to keep him at the club. We all know RM is tempting club, but Chelsea have some good advantages too, especially for a guy like him.
  20. Hope I am wrong, but this what he does with his feet when in clear chance doesn't look like something you can just fix with more playing time, or with being in better form. Looks like wrong mentality, wrong way of thinking, lack of agility, no calmness and no composure at all. REALLY hoping I am wrong and that he can fix it, and that he can produce display like against Stoke City more often. If he doesn't, well, can't see him being top striker, ever. PS, talk about getting another striker to play two upfront? That would be a disaster for this team, our players are too hard to integrate in first XI even now, with all those deficiencies (Fabregas, Bakayoko, wingbacks,...), we CAN'T afford another player that would need tweaking things up, just so he could work out. Playing two upfront would mean bye bye Fabregas from our starting XI and Hazard playing more like attacking midfielder - not second striker as he is now playing.
  21. Damn Morata, gotta put that in... Missed whole goal.
  22. Ryad Mahrez for best buy safe option, or Fekir, more expensive and ambitious option. Both better buys than Moura. I would take Mahrez because I think we must focus our energy and money on wing-backs, that's the position we REALLY need to upgrade.
  23. I think he has really good core of abilities, but he must decide in which direction he wants to go. If he wants to be midfielder, he needs to work on his stamina, awareness, tactical aspect of the game. If he wants to be #10 or second-striker, he needs to improve his end product (assisting and scoring more). Also, it would be great if he learns to use his height more. It would take some work, but he could become decent in heading/winning areal battles, we don't want to have another Matiฤ‡ - tall player with really no areal presence. Loftus has ton of possibilities.
