  1. We would've lost 0-5 without him today. Shocking
  2. FUCK Dont even want to analyze this game. Most of our players look like they had a very nice NYE and are even more hangover than i am. Hazard the one exception who did perform today. He really didn't deserve this. Too bad it was under these circumstances, but our 2nd goal was absolutely amazing. And credit for the Chelsea fans over there, who kept singing even at 1-4 behind. That's support.
  3. I agree. But have the feeling that we're not going all the way for him and then we will miss out. Hope I'm wrong off course. Apart from him personally, Dortmund will also rather sell to us than to Bayern. And I think his clause only becomes active this summer? Maybe this is with my Chelsea glasses on, buth a Schurrle + cash bid seems ideal for all parties.
  4. Impressive 2nd half, our best of the season for me. Complete domination in one of the most difficult away games of the season, unfortunately still two points lost. But not worried at all, comparing the away games still to play of City and us. I just can't see how they will drop less points than us.
  5. The interview with BT sports (not the best quality..)
  6. Think Remy understands that Drogba is better for forcing an equaliser or winner in the last minute. You really think we would've had a more chance to equalise with Remy instead of Drogba coming on yesterday? Also think Remy will be more disappointed with not starting against Spurs at home instead of not coming on against Newcastle. Remy looks like a striker who is most effective when there is space to make his runs.
  7. Maybe he is getting used to having a healed hamstring again, after playing with a damaged one since last season. This sounds like nonsense, but really he looked less clumsy when 'injured' imo. Not worried about Costa at all, but if you want to worry about something then for me its his heading skills. Don't think he won an air duel today, despite him being one of the biggest and strongest guys in the PL. Oh and the number of yellow cards. Costa needs time, took the PL by storm but it is perfectly normal that he needs time.
  8. Definitely the player who improved the most since the start of the season and he's 36 When we signed him back I expected him only to come on for 10 minutes at most all season. Was genuinely very worried when Costa and Remy where out and he would start against ManU; end up scoring a copy of the Munich-header. Our only goal of the match. Three days ago he was the deciding factor in the match against Spurs with a goal and an assist. And today he came on in the last 20 minutes and again he was the most dangerous man on the pitch, scoring our only goal and with a little bit more luck it would've been two. Amazing
  9. At least all the record and unbeaten talks are finally over. Let's focus again. We were even not that bad, however lacked the smoothness sometimes in this game (and also against Sunderland). Most players had at least 3 touches before playing the ball, which is too much against a weak opponent. We need to speed up to destroy them, which in all fairness City did great last week against Sunderland. Very interesting how Zouma will do in CL, since he may be a better option than Cahill right now. Compliments to Drogba and Courtois, who I think had a great game.
  10. Don't see this happening, but was just wondering does he count as HG?
  11. Think people forget the first half. We created almost nothing while there was a lot of space and mistakes from United. All our creative players (except Hazard on some occasions) failed to impress today. Fab was marked out of the game and failed to overcome that. But Willian and especially Oscar, if they make the right choices and play simple passes then in the first half alone there would have been 4 or more one-vs-ones. Then, if you are finally one up from a set piece, imo it makes more sense to try and kill the game then desperately look for a second (giving more away in the back).
  12. The Mou blaming here is ridiculous. Saw a stat before the game, losing only 3 in 37 games (and winning most of them) against ManU, Liverpool, City, Arsenal. How can you criticise that? And would've added another win if it wasn't for Phil Dowd. Feeling robbed now, but too be honest it's not the worst weekend.
  13. Indeed we'll never know for sure. However I like this article about how we signed him, gives Mourinho the credit: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2779889/How-Jose-Mourinho-outwitted-rivals-race-seduce-former-Barcelona-star-Cesc-Fabregas.html?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490
  14. That's why this is so disappointing, apparently Chelsea was only a job for him.
