Are those accurate? If so then I've been waffling all this time loool
-
It's not just an assumption when it's coming from friends who regularly watch the Bundesliga. Yes Kai is versatile, however the position where he plays his best is the no.10 position. He is not as effective as a RW as he is a CAM whether you want to believe it or not.
-
I agree that could be our best line up for sure
-
I don't think our attack is up for this game without Pulisic and Ziyech. Werner is the only person I'm confident in, Havertz still needs to settle in. CHO, and Mount both looked bad in their past few games and don't get me started on RLC. I will never trust Christensen and Zouma as a pair as well. It's a ticking timebomb.
-
0% confidence in us winning the game now, let's just hope we get a draw
-
Injuries are a big problem at this club, we'll most likely lose the game seeing as we're basically using our B team.
-
It's just not Pulisic but the whole squad got injured last season. I do agree that Pulisic is very injury prone though.
-
All these setbacks...sigh. How come everyone is so injury prone lately? Is it Lampards training sessions?
-
I thought Pulisic was fit enough to play on Monday but Lampard decided to rest him for Sunday. I'd be very surprised if I don't see Pulisic in the line-up against Liverpool.
-
Caballero to start against Liverpool which was expected tbh, this just confirms it.
-
Is there a chance we see him against Liverpool?
-
Then why mention him playing on the right when he's matchfit? We got Pulisic coming back for the Liverpool game on Sunday. I would love to see Havertz play in the middle where he is at his best. All I'm saying is that playing him on the right will hinder his performances. It reminds me of when we used to play Mata on the right tbh. It's not his natural position.
-
It's logically not making sense to me why people want Havertz to play on the right rather than CAM position. Why would you want to force him on the right when he is much better in the middle?

Someone in my class is a German who regularly watches the Bundesliga. I'm not going to pretend I watched all of Kai's Leverkusen games and neither should any other Chelsea fan. What he told me is that Kai is much much better as a no.10, and by playing him out wide you are limiting his qualities as a playmaker. By the way do you care more about the result than the message players receive when Lampard makes a decision? How many times does Jorginho have to play against a high pressing team for us to realize that it doesn't work? He is not a fast twitch player, his reaction speed is very slow and he would 100% struggle against Liverpool. Just because he performed well against Brighton, which I tbh didn't think he did(he was ok in my eyes, lost the ball often), doesn't mean he will do the same against Liverpool. Tactically it wouldn't be smart to start Jorginho against Liverpool at all. Why does Silva need time? If he performs well in training then we need his WORLDCLASS defending against Liverpool. Did you forget Christensen's performances against Liverpool last season? Do you really think Christensen did a 180 and all of sudden became a solid defender? Don't be gullible, I will take Silva over him any day of the week.
-
If Lampard plays Jorginho and that results in Havertz playing out wide then he is not good enough to be Chelsea's manager at the moment. I feel like he needs more experience, but I hope he proves me wrong and finally puts Kai in his rightful position. Also I hope he isn't stubborn enough to start Christensen just because he had a good performance against Brighton, if Silva comes in and impresses in training then Lamps hopefully has the balls to start him.
-
Zouma all day long, especially when his first language is French. Communication is very important at the back.
-
Zouma as well. With Thiago Silva and Chilwell we'll be even more solid!
-
I have no idea tbh, maybe Crystal Palace? Since he already had a successful loan spell there
-
Kai was played out of position, was nervous and lost confidence which resulted in him playing bad today. It's all on Lampard in my opinion. If he played at CAM from the start then he'd atleast give one assist to Timo for sure
-
I hope to never see him in a PL game again.
-
I still can't wrap my head around how Lampard preferred Barkley and RLC at CAM over Havertz
-
The new defensive coach really did his job. It looked like we were playing with a new set of defenders, except for Alonso ofcourse he was shit.
-
Our defence is looking more solid compared to last season
-
Havertz is still playing as a right winger? Lampard is losing it.

Oh my days another donkey is coming in
