  1. It's about time. Let's hope he starts against West Brom.
  2. Fully agree, Zakaria would be a good option tbh. Cheaper and more talented.
  3. Let's hope so, I never want to see the Jorginho-Kova-Kante partnership again.
  4. Jorginho didn't feature this game, does that mean that Lampard sees him as a starter over Kovacic? If so then he's making a huge mistake.
  5. The fact that even Barnsley are more aggressive than us is such a shame. We've been sitting deep and we've been playing very passive lately.
  6. His love for Mount isn't that crazy. I could never see that happen lol.
  7. Imagine Mount benches Pulisic and Ziyech when they're fit looool the scenes
  8. I'd rather us sign a winger as a backup instead of Declan Rice in this transfer window. Since Pulisic is very injury prone, we need a decent backup like Benrahma for example.
  9. Any chance Malang Sarr will feature?
  10. Ake is having a very good performance in his debut. We might've missed out on a good signing. But it's still early to tell.
  11. Exactly he doesn't even have a playstyle, and this is his second season! Let's just hope he finds it as soon as possible and our players adapt very quickly.
  12. All I want is Lampard to finally find his formation and playstyle in the next three games. If he's still going for fluidity in tactics and formation then I'll start to get seriously worried.
  13. This, this, this! This is what I've been saying at half time. It's very confusing
  14. Honest question, can someone tell me what his philosophy is? He constantly changes his formation and tactics which is a huge problem. If you look at every worldclass manager then you can clearly see they are consistent in their tactics and formation. Their team has a certain playstyle and they stick with it. With Lampard I literally don't see his footballing philosophy. It's very confusing for a team to play a certain way if the manager is confused himself.
  15. I don't want us to play very offensive but balanced. We literally parked the bus and didn't press them when they were in their own half. We constantly let them in our half, which cost us the game offensively. What we could have done is play one more winger or striker instead of Jorgi and let our midfield have a double pivot of Kova and Kante. When Werner was making runs he was the only one upfront and no one was there to help him out, because Lampard told them to constantly defend. We needed to press more and play one more attacking minded player instead of Jorginho to sum it up.
  16. Starting Kepa wasn't a mistake? After everything that happened? What about his overly defensive tactics? Negative mindset, and coward tactics was used by Lampard. He intention wasn't to win but to not lose.
  17. Lampard hasn't even improved tactically, people aren't judging him because he is a Chelsea legend which is understandable. However you have got to be consistent with your beliefs, if this was Sarri then people would go bonkers.
  18. No Leeds lost. And were lucky it was so close. They had 3 chances and scored 3. Don't be results oriented. Same with the arsenal game. First half they did nothing. Are you really this delusional? Leeds were lucky it was close? Liverpool were lucky they won! Wtf are you on about. Liverpools first pen was undeserved and their last pen was a stupid mistake by Rodrigo. They got away with the win. I'm not going to reply to you anymore. To say Leeds were lucky when clearly Liverpool was, is the most outrageous thing I have heard today.
  19. I had this discussion with a friend of mine. I came to the conclusion that Lampard doesn't have a philosophy. If you look at the likes of Guardiola, Klopp, Ancelotti etc, you see all of these WC managers using a style of play and they also have a consistent team set up. Some of them use 433 formation others use 4231 etc. Lampard always changes his tactics and formation which hurts the team, because they can't get used to a style of play.
  20. We're not talking about when we were playing with 10 men but our tactics in the first half was extremely defensive, which ultimately cost us the game. We basically didn't go in the game with intention to win but we didn't want to lose. That's worrying and a horrible mentality to have as a football manager.
  21. Yeah we are playing against Liverpool. We can't go all out attack when half our front 4 are missing. This isn't fifa. We stopped them well and tried to hit them on the counter. Leeds almost beat them and Arsenal beat them as well
  22. Anyone thinking those tactics were good are part of the problem. It was so defensive to the point that it was as if we were playing the best football team of all time. No purpose, coward and spineless tactics. He was going for the draw and got punished for it. Rightfully so.
  23. And some people were saying Caballero is worse, fucking ridiculous
