8 million. pounds to replace Mikel/Ramires/Both with a Chilean workhorse? Yes, please.
-
We all know you are against Turan, because that would be another option that will bench Oscar if he goes missing again, lmao. No reason to be ironic.
-
Anybody have any views on him? Is he going to be the so-called Mikel replacement.
-
Question now is: "Who the fuck are we signing?"
-
@CFCColumn: Arda Turan's agent has confirmed an agreement with Barcelona #CFC [sport] Anyone confirm?
-
Agree. Both Raheem and Arda have their minuses and pluses, so I'd be happy with either.
-
With a front three of Hazard, Willian/Sterling, Sterling/Cuadrado, I firmly believe we'd be immense. Pace and deadly dribble on the counter. Creativity and flair in terms of build up attack, coming from Fabregas too. Don't see any reason why we shouldn't at least try for him. That being said, I believe City will try to get him, even if it means 50 mil. down the drain.
-
Arda will improve our squad, I'm not saying he won't, just that he has reached his maximum potential, so there won't be any major changes to his game, so unless he benches Oscar and starts scoring goals or having the games of his life, he wouldn't be an automatic starter here. Sterling is yet to develop, fully, has adapted to the Premier League, is a player who'd be interesting and he may not get an automatic starting position, but given his potential and quality, would probably manage to make the RW/#10 role his. If he goes on to improve his trait of skills and his finishing mostly, he'd be an improvement in our squad, a great addition, who would always be a dangerous asset to have. , I'm not denying Arda's ability, on the contrary, to me he is amazing, but as I've said, we'd probably be looking for a replacement for him sooner, rather than later, which would mean that splashing the cash him would be unnecessary, IF there are other options available. Sterling/Gotze/Griezmann are better choices to actually splash the cash on,imo.

Doesn't matter if we spent that money on Kennedy, Nathan or whatever. This just proves that Arda is not a priority and we won't give in to big bucks transfers, unless they improve our squad majorly, which is admirable. Arda is amazing, don't get me wrong, but if the club don't feel the need to buy him, then there isn't a reason to just match the money Barca are paying. I'd rather we give 40 mil. to Liverpool and get Sterling, who may be overrated, but would improve our squad and has the room to develop even more, rather than give 30 mil. for Arda who we're not considering a priority and who we would be looking to replace in 2 years time. While I get, that It may sound paradoxical, look at it from a bussiness poin of view, 40 mil. for 5 years, 30 mil for 3? I know who'd I go with.
-
He actually wouldn't have THAT much of a problem drifting from the wings. Seeing as, though he's unhappy, we should really try to put in a bid from him. He'd cost 30 mil. euro max. Bayern don't stand in the way of players wanting to leave. They'd be looking recover, as much money as they can for him.
-
I remember his silky touches vs Everton... My God, so sad he turned out this way.
-
If you are referring to your post with that clown emoticon or to yourself in personal than feel free to do it. You are comparing a then ONE- season wonder to one of the best strikers with an off - season, because of a major injury. We've signed him on a fucking loan. Useless fickleness.
-
He scored them for Genoa, not for Atleti, Porto, Monaco... Genoa. He had one great season and Mourinho made him a champion. Have a little faith in this lad, doesn't matter, it's a loan.
-
Same was said about Diego Milito. Why is Jose replacing Ibrahimovic with a 29 year old striker from Saragoza. He became Inter's top goalscorer. So pull your pants up and cheer Falcao, it's only a loan deal, ffs.
-
In terms of overall play, we are talking about people who's game isn't generally affected by play. If we were talking for a Sterling, who relies on lots of pace, or for example, Ashley Cole, who aged and lost his pace to keep up, then we may overlook transfers. Neither Arda, nor Vidal, are debatable. TOP transfers. Vidal isn't leaving though, far as I know he said he wanted to retire at Juve.
-
He's not leaving. If there is a chance any MF from Juve leaves this windown, it's Pogba.
-
Bet my arse it's nearly done. He said it himself he wants a change of scenery. Would be really surprised if he goes to Barca, would, at least in my eyes, mean that Griezmann is ours.
-
Turan has talked to the Atleti board that he wants to leave, so their intention is not sell him for peanuts, but not stand in his way either.
-
Various sources have come out to say it's 29 mil. euro. Which is 20 mil. pounds. Atleti said they don't want clubs to activate his clause.
-
20 million pounds reported fee. BARGAIN.
-
Oscar's place is in jeopardy.
-
Are you really scared of Ings, Bodan and Milner? Plus a Firmino and a Clyne? Players who aren't World class and are yet to take that step? United are in a major transitional period. Wait for them to sign Ramos, then complain, because it is yet to happen. Arsenal aren't getting Neuer. Cech still has his flaws as well as Ospina had, and Ospina is a good GK. If their defense is still shambolic Cech will be the least of their worries.
-
Explain to me, who strengthened? How exactly? Solely buying Depay and Cech isn't strengthening.
-
I'll just take a couple minutes of my time to try to realize why people are jumping the gun. So this window the likes of Depay(a wonderkid, who we don't need) Schneiderlin(probably off to United, no reason for us to go for), Cech, Danny Ings, Adam Bogdan, James Milner( neither of them needed at our club ) and Roberto Firmino(who is quality, but also unneeded here) have moved clubs in the EPL. Out of all those transfers, I'd argue that the only one we could have gone after is Nathaniel Clyne. Young, english RB, who doesn't shine and gets the job done, but I doubt we would have wanted to be second fiddle to Ivanovic and stall his development, when he will be a week in - week out starter for the Scousers. Now, a part from that there have been no major transfers in which we should have been evolved. Players like Griezmann, Sterling, Pogba, Umtiti, Begovic,Baba Rahman, Stones, Alex Song and so on, are still with their respected clubs and as reports go, negotiations for their transfers to X club are still on-going. Which, leads me to believe, in a simple, well-mannered fashion, that we have lost 0 transfer battles and bar Arsenal our opponents haven't improved drastically to say that we are being left behind. If it was the 25th of August, I'd be panicking too, but it isn't. As I said earlier, we are, out of all the top 6, the club that needs major improvement,.. the least. So calm down a bit. We have the best coach in the world, he is always a step ahead, geez.

I've never begged for a rumour to be true, as much as this one. Not even Torres.
