man City has had 3 or 4 good strikers in the last ~3 years. Why shouldn't we be able to have costa and cavani? CFC is being more linked to the transfer as we speak
-
Cech + Ramires/cash for Cavani?
-
Apparently Chelsea is linked with a huge 70 million Pound move for Cavani and Benitia

ladno ladno... haha.. horosho shto yest mnogo ruski ivrey na forumi

IMO, used to be much better when it was Czech.. ever since it became American owned i thought it doesn't taste too good
-
Honest mistake, just forgot him. That just shows how many superstars there are on germany!

I tried Grimbergen once in Toronto, (very expensive on tap here), and it was probably the best beer i've ever tried.

Hamilton, as a Europe and Beer enthusiast, which beer is the most popular and good-tasting in belgium? Is it Jupiler, or is that too mainstream? I have travelled a lot through Europe with parents (keep in mind I'm turning 19 in September) but have never been to Belgium. Me and some of my friends I study with are going to plan a backpacking trip through Europe and belgium will definitely be one of our stops. Which Belgian beers would you say are must-trys when we are there?

hey guys, I wanted to start a topic here on one of my favourite topics... BEER Which Beer do you guys prefer when watching Chelsea play? I'll start off - I love Erdinger (German Bavarian wheat beer), and of course probably a popular choice, Heineken. I also really enjoy Leffe Blonde Abbey Ale (Belgian), but usually only if I'm eating something with it.

Would absolutely love him at CFC... If he comes, Im buying his jersey immediately, not even looking at the price.

hate it when good players forced to leave just because they 'said something' that Mou doesn't like. Ridiculous. That's why he was booted from Real, no one liked him anymore for his ridiculous ego and beliefs.
-
Completely disagree, Germany is star-studded, even without their best player in Reus: Neuer, Lahm, Kroos, Muller, Gotze, Schurrle, Draxler, Ozil, Khedira, Hummels the list goes on. They won because they have a super team and they also played LIKE a team.
-
You're kidding?
-
Rather let MVG be around the first team and let him play and let Mikel go. Mikel never had an abundance of technical talent but worked hard and did the dirty work, so hope all is well with him in the future.

The "completed" Chelsea side and attractive football.
DANILA replied to Shakez's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
My main problem with Jose is when Chelsea is up 1-0 or 2-1 he wants to go in complete defense mode for some reason, even against small clubs! Then like times last season they would pressure us and score near the 90th minute and we would draw or lose. IMO, the best form of defense is attack (to a certain level) and Jose really does not agree with that. Hopefully he learned his lesson from last season that we cannot just 'defend' for the rest of the game when one lucky fluke could take away 2/3 points from us. -
I don't get why everyone's making a big deal about his hair... the man's obviously in earlier stages of balding, give him a break, he's a footballer not a justin bieber

With our roster, I really think the 4-1-4-1 will be extremely suitable, to start off the match with at least. Similar to 2012-2014 Bayern, our biggest strength is in midfield. Why not position Matic as our holding/def MF while having Cesc hazard schurrle/willian and oscar in the 4 AM positions, and of course costa as our lone striker. If we get down a goal or are struggling to score, than we can switch to a 3-5-2 or similar?
-
After the WC, if Schurrle keeps up his form, I think he's a better player than Willian. Just my opinion
-
They finished 7th out of 10 positions
-
Sentimental signing by Mourihno at best.... If Lukaku leaves I will not be too happy with this move
-
LOL. Moved to country, gotta fit in
-
What you are saying makes sense.. i guess I am thinking too much at the lower-level where I had experience where every player who wants to play really pushes themselves so the coach/trainer can see, and its evident this is not the case in professional, top tier football with established line-ups.. Apologies
-
Absolute legend... I started getting into Chelsea when I was 9, and lampard was a big factor, so it's sad to see him play anywhere else other than CFC. All the best LEGEND!

As a former competitive football player, i can tell you that the pre-season is a very important time for a coach/manager to see which players have good chemistry and which formation/tactic is suitable for the players. I strongly believe the next game(s) Mou will start putting on more players from our starting XI and even experiment with a few formation options since we have that advantage for this year with all the talent coming in. Personally I am quite interested in seeing which formation Mou will use against Burnley, as that will likely be the formation used against all mid/lower table sides and we'll be able to see if we have solved our problem of scoring against park-the-bus teams
