Jesus . Well, everywhere he would have gone was bad anyway (Spuds, Arsenal or Pool), but still, the thought of him in a Liverpool shirt . I don't wish him anything bad in a personal way, but i certainly hope he doesn't give Liverpool anything he gave Chelsea in terms of football. Jesus Joey, Liverpool ffs.

Best first half performers for me were: 1. Sturridge; created a couple of chances for himself. On the other hand he was too eager to score himself, but that is part of his development. 2. Essien; good to see him back on the pitch, classic Essien stuff. 3. Matic; As cool as ice, he never seems to lose his head and is always available to receive a pass. His vision is also really impressive, a couple of his long passes were spot on. 4. Bertrand & Bruma; Both had good runs down the flank going forward and looked solid in the defensive aspect. Di Santo should leave us this summer, too slow in his actions i think and didn't do anything really spectacular. Josh hasn't been that exciting, but i don't account him for that. He is only 17 years old and this was his first start for the Chelsea team ever. Definetely has the potential to be a great player! I thought Van Aanholt was a bit uncertain at the back, but i didn't expect miracles from him, he is a pure left back after all.

I thinks it's more a common problem at Chelsea (young players, until now, barely coming trough), because i don't think Di Santo is a bad player. He might not have had impressive stats at Blackburn, but i would like to see him in a Chelsea shirt, with way better players around him. Blackburn isn't the most desirable place to be for a striker imo

Thought this topic was about the player's qualities, not about his hair . Love him to bits to be honest, he is cool on the ball and has amazing vision. Could grow into something like an Deco-ish player; not the most spectacular, but with great vision, always cool and steady when on the ball and on top of that Matic seems to have reasonably quick foot too!

I really hope he gets more games under his belt this season. God I love the guy, really want him to succed at Chelsea. Can be a great player in the future!

We all thought we were lost when Drogba went to the ACON. We all thought we were lost when we Essien got injured. Mikel got injured prettyy late on in the season and Matic was barely used when he was fit. We actualy do have enough midfielders, but probably not enough experienced midfielders! The younger lads simply do bring a greater risk with them. Don't kow if Khedira would be the solution for that .

Spot on! At Real you have to get results immediately. That a side, they only seem to like fancy footballers (flicks, tricks, drama & dives), so he probably won't be loved by the Bernabeu public as he is controlling 'boring' player.

Khedira plays at Stuttgart not at Bayern . Very interesting article. Certainly would like to see Cork given a chance. Really made a solid impression in his games with Burnley! Alongside him Di Santo and Bertrand would be the best to bets i think. Btw, I hate it when people tag young talents to older already proven players (like mentioned in the article Betrand= the new Ashley Cole). This only put more pressure on the young lads and mostly does them more harm than good.
