He does definitely deserves it. He often has great substitute appearances and has made some very important goals for us. Don't know what to think about his starting place for the game right away against Utd...

McEachran should play more next season, we should get a more experienced player to back him up so he doesn't need to play every game. This way we can slowly integrate Josh into the team and we have our own creative mastermind. Certainly no Kaka, who is old, injury prone as said, and imo even a tad overrated. We should stop buying players wich are at their end/top of their carreers!

Most probably not in the near future, maybe some 10/15 years from now. Certainly won't be anytime sooner

Really like Sturridge his goal, amazing technique in the shot. Drogs his goal against Bolton is pure class. After all i think i'm going to vote for Ramires though. In his first season, against one of the best teams/defences of the league, with a goal that secured the three points...

It has to be said that Ivan is one of our biggest, if not the biggest threat we have with (indirect) set pieces. He always seems to get his head near the ball and has caused a lot of danger in the box with his fysical presence and power when going forward. Have to agree with you he is more of a CB. Way to slow for a RB, especialy when defending against someone like Nani, who can outpace him + his skill is pretty limited.

Woeful performance from the team and once again fucked by the referee on a European night. It's so frustrating to watch. Every time we can't break the deadlock, our opponent does. After they scored we suddenly start to come alive a bit and show some forward movement. At this stage we start to pump long balls forward to Drogba desperately hoping that we get something out of it. Once more, the players seem to realise this isn't going to work for us. What to do? Players like Ivanovic and Terry (our CB's ffs) start to go forward to force something out of the opponent's defence, but it won't work. We lack creativity, big time.

We could use Zhrikov's pace on the left hand side, Malouda is tad too slow every time we try to hit them on the counter (although there isn't that much movement possible up front with City 9-0-1 system).
