Their only weakness is Casillas

Rodgers' starting XI has angered a host of Reds fans but the Portuguese boss reckons his controversial decision will prove a masterstroke if they beat Real and Chelsea this week. Mourinho said: "I don’t speak about Liverpool. I speak about myself. "If one day I go to a game and I don’t feel I can win, maybe I don’t go. So, normally, against the most difficult opponents, I will try to go with my best team but who knows. "Liverpool might play a fantastic match and win and rest players and the players are in great condition to play against Chelsea in this case it might be a genius decision. "In football it is difficult to comment." Chelsea play Slovenian outfit Maribor in the Champions League tomorrow before heading to Anfield on Saturday. http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/408684/Chelsea-Jose-Mourinho-Brendan-Rodgers-Liverpool

'Everybody at Chelsea knows how much I love the club,' said Mourinho. 'They know how much I want it to improve and how much I want to be part of the club in the future. Everybody knows. Even a moment of criticism has to be analysed with different eyes, with the eyes of somebody who knows why I came back to Chelsea and why I'm here with my heart and why I want to stay for a long, long time. 'I am just somebody who loves football a lot. I love my job. I am lucky to do my job in the club I like so much and feel such a connection to, and maybe that makes me lead the club with a different emotion. If I do it in a professional way and concentrate only on training and selection. It is because this is not just for me a job. It is more than that, because it's Chelsea. 'Maybe I go a little bit too far. But I see myself in the stands, watching Chelsea and I want to play, I want to help. If I'm not a player I cannot play, if I'm not a coach I cannot make decisions, if I'm just a fan what can I do to help. That's just my view.' http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2820773/I-gone-far-criticising-Chelsea-support-s-care-insists-Jose-Mourinho.html?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490

Rodgers plays a total B team
-
No Cesc?
-
Reus can replace Ribery who will be 32 next year. But somehow I don't have the feeling Reus will join Bayern. Think he will move to England with ManU as the favorites.
-
Yeah the same (bs) article stated Bale will move to Manchester and Hazard to Madrid. http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/531225/- I think it's inevitable that Hazard will join Madrid in the future (it's his dream club?), but let us at least have him for 3-4 more years.
-
Where is the new contract? Just read another rumour Real Madrid is preparing a bid for him.
-
Linked with Manshitty now, for £200k/wk (Bild), buy out clause £20M.

Jose Mourinho believes Ramires being available again is a huge boost for Chelsea. “It’s very important for us,” said the Blues boss. “Tactically he is good, he can play in many positions and has intensity. “He is a guy who is dangerous when attacking, good in defensive transition and has a fantastic engine to drop back and to press. “He’s an important player for us, and a balance between technical players and players like Ramires I think is fundamental to our squad.” http://www.westlondonsport.com/chelsea/mourinho-explains-why-ramires-return-is-so-important-for-chelsea-wls-football

Cech Iva Zouma JT Azpi Cesc Matic Schurrle Willian Eden Costa Rest: Oscar, Gary, Luis who played 3 games in 6 days. Cech did well in the home game, so should start this one too.
-
Didn't see your profile, Willian is also one of my fav players. KDB actually works really hard, I've seen all the Belgium matches during the WC. But from the moment Mourinho decided to use Oscar as his #10, Mata and KDB were played out of position as wingers and they aren't the type of wingers Mourinho likes. He loves wingers who are pacy and hard working, that's what I meant.
-
Can't see Madrid losing the title race anymore this year, they already had their dip at the beginning of the season, Barca just messed up.
-
Yeah but Willian was a great buy IMO, not worth his price tag (yet) bus was very important and consistent last season. This season Willian isn't at his best yet, he must improve in attack! For KDB, I'm also dissapointed he left because he showed great potential in his loan spell in Germany. Mourinho loves hard working, pacy attacking players. That's why he bought Schurrle, Willian and Salah, and let KDB and Mata go.
-
You're wrong, he first sold KDB at the start of the window and then got Matic. At the end of the window Mata suddenly wanted to leave, which left us only with Oscar, Hazard, Willian and Schurrle for 3 positions. That's why he bought Salah, to replace a (left footed) attacking mid with another one.
-
That's what you get for not shaking Mou's hand. Lol
-
Nope, Ramires is just back from an injury, don't think he will start. Think Mou will go with the standard line up and in the current form it's indeed hard to drop Oscar, I agree. Let's see if they can perform in this semi big game, as this Liverpool isn't as tough as last year.
-
And they also played together against ManU, in big games there is only place for one of them, Ramires is a must.
-
He hardly dropped Ramires. Rami was suspended in the first game and after that, he started against Everton and City. And before the Arsenal game, he got injured for about 5-6 weeks until Shrewsbury.
-
Lucky City, f*ck Pelligrini
-
Yeah, he said ''possibly'' Willian for his workrate. Willian really must improve in attack to join that list.

In his first spell Mourinho named 9 players who were his ''untouchables'': Claude Makelele, Michael Essien, Frank Lampard, Michael Ballack, John Terry, Ricardo Carvalho, Ashley Cole, Didier Drogba and Petr Cech. "Makelele is untouchable because of the way he plays. Essien is untouchable because of the way he plays. Frank Lampard is untouchable because of the way he plays. "It is not because I love them. It is because of the way they play. Michael Ballack is untouchable because of the way he plays. John Terry is untouchable, Ricardo Carvalho, Ashley Cole, Drogba, they are untouchable. "The right-back is not untouchable. That is why I try this and that. But, at this moment, we have nine untouchable players. Players pick the team, not me." interview of 2006: http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/2397432/jose-sheva-not-untouchable At the end of last season (2013-14) he was asked to name his new untouchables, at that time he named: Azpi, Iva, Gary, JT, Ramires, Matic and Willian. “Partially” is the critical word. “It was not possible to complete that puzzle for different factors,” Mourinho said. “If next season we have a No 9 who we decide is first-choice, plus the stability that Matic and Ramires can give, hopefully we will have more stability.”So there you have it. The new ‘untouchables’ are evolving: Ivanovic, Terry, Cahill, Azpilicueta, Matic and Ramires and, possibly, Willian whose attitude to hard work had, Mourinho said, been transformed. interview of 2014: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/chelsea/10806112/Chelsea-manager-looking-for-a-new-team-of-untouchables-to-match-Stamford-Bridges-class-of-2006.html But with the addition of Courtois, Luis, Costa, Fabregas and the development of Hazard and Oscar I think there will be some changes in his mind. Mine are: Azpi, Iva, JT, Matic, Cesc, Hazard, Diego Costa and Courtois if Cech really leaves. Who are your new untouchables? Or is it too early to talk about it, like the comparison with ''the new invincibles''?
