I think what's being said is when the linesman raises his flag, the defenders and keepers stop defending, allowing the attacker to have a better shot than if the defense was still going at them. What happens if the call is changed? Do you allow the goal and penalize the defense for seeing the linesman and not playing through the flag or do you give a free kick, allowing the defense to set up for a set-piece?

I can't imagine what this board would have been like if we would have lost to Swansea... So far this season we haven't won a meaningless series of games, we didn't win a pretty much meaningless trophy, and we got a draw with 10 men and looked pretty good while being down to 10 men. If we lose to City, I swear some people are going to be talking relegation.

Wasn't the reason for the demotion the Facebook post? If there is something in the clubs rules that makes the post out of line, then she would have no grounds to sue. I find it funny Arsenal fans are wanting Eva to go to north London. They're one of the teams that were a using her in the past.

No matter how much money the big clubs have, they're always going to want more. TV contracts are always going to go up, shirt sponsorships are going to go up and player contracts are going to keep going up. And that's the modern game. I'm just happy Chelsea don't have a horrible sponsorship like Chevrolet or Bet365. I'm also glad we haven't done anything weird with the home kit. Last years is probably the most tweaking that's been done in a long time. People were outraged at Inter doing a black kit last year, and many are upset at Barca going to hoops and getting red shorts.

Are you sure that Blackhawks jersey will never change? Other hockey leagues around the world have sponsors and I thought the NHL have discussed it before. I completely agree with you about Adidas. I've gotten so tired of seein the three stripes on every single Adidas shirt. If you don't like it, don't buy it an good for you for standing up against it. There's just too much money in it to do otherwise. Newcastle supporters have released their own shirt, which I think is pretty awesome.

I would prefer to set every goal, goal difference and point record while winning the quadruple, but that's just not going to happen. Not with these players, not with this manager and not in this league. There's too many good teams. Since it's not going to happen, I want this team to play the way that gives them the best chance to win titles. Open, free play may be entertaining but if we get smashed 5-2 by City by playing that way, I'll take 1-0 or 0-0 any day.

Again with the "proper football". IMO, he played proper football. He played his tactics right and got 3 valuable points against a hot team in the final stretch of the season.

I think everyone preferred watching pre-Christmas Chelsea. It's what got us to the top of the table, but it wasn't going to keep us there for the whole of the season. There's a reason Arsenal haven't won the title in years, and it's not from the lack of talent.

You would have preferred Mourinho to go all out attack on a United team that was on a hot winning streak, when Arsenal were also putting pressure on us for the title race and any amount of points would have been good to keep pace for the title?

Put the loudest supporters into the shed end lower, move the away fans to a corner of the Matthew Harding Stand and either west or east stand. Put family tickets into the rest of the Matthew Harding Stand. Tourists in the East Stand and the corporate and rich in the West Stand.

If we don't have the firepower to attack the whole game, it doesn't make sense to play that way. We play to our strength and that's defense.

Some people will take entertainment over trophies. We spend so much time watching this team, I can see the argument. I'll take the way we play if we win trophies.

Surprised we weren't the most hated. I suppose it has to do with the sustained success that United has had in the Premier League era that has made them the most hated.
