But in a different case, if the coach doesn't really desire that much (and know how) to integrate this player immediately in his system, it puts the judgment of the purchase based solely on potential and data metrics. For example, the Mudryk case actually turned out to be really ridiculous. Who pushed for this transfer, actually? His performance in the six months has shown us that he is ridiculously far from being ready to play at the highest level. He has shown flashes of great potential but he also given us so many embarrassing moments. Of course, he still have a lot of time to prove his potential, but it seems like he came here purely because of the management.

Ship out Havertz is one obvious thing he must do first (along with another attacker like Ziyech and Pulisic). I know some people might still say that Havertz is still worth keeping. When the team is playing well and creating chances, Havertz is not a bad player actually. His work rate and movement upfront are also a part of the team's cohesion in attack. But having seen his 3-4 years here, I think I have seen enough. Playing well for only 7-8 games for a whole season is far from worth keeping. Moreover, he is a frustrating player to watch when he goes through bad patches, and it has become hard to bear anymore. If it weren't for several headers and tap-in goals, his time here would actually be considered very very poor, and in soo many games it's hard to see what he is actually good at. There have been many games where he has given a very poor performance as a center forward, being stuck and invisible upfront, unable to build up or create, and being mediocre as an centre forward. And when use him in different role probably as a CAM or out wide, he just performs even worse. With that being said, I don't mean to say that Havertz is a awful player. He does have his own capabilities. However, he simply doesn't fit into Premier League football, and some might say, me included, he seems doesn't fit into the Chelsea team as well.

Though it's massive and requires a lot of time, since the investigation began a couple of months ago, hasn't there been a single case (out of a hundred) that they have proven to be guilty? I mean, wouldn't one or two proven guilty cases already be enough to impose some punishment on them?

Brighton just doing really good. Brighton is currently delivering exactly what Todd Boehly had hoped for - exciting and intense football played with style, as well as giving opportunities to young players to showcase their skills. Or may todd boehly just buying the wrong club 😅 Joke aside, imagine some of our young player like david fonfana, madueke, even mudryk actually play there. I bet their will get much more nurturing and game development there than stuck being here with so limited playing time
-
I mean why? I could possiby expect some inconsistent and lackluster performance under him. But seeing our lineup selection being like this for several times. Some players that i thought might get more chances under lamps. Install some confidence on those young player and build something or try to make some experiment with those players, but what actually happens just totally the opposite. what tf actually happened?
-
True. And their spot just taken by player like sterling, gallagher, chalobah which they aren't just mediocre player, but also currently in ridiculously really poor performance. One thing that absolutely mind boggling me is why lampard keep choose bizarre lineup. I don't even expect this shit from lampard. Field 9 defensive player. Field sterling as false nine for numerous times. No winger. Hardly give some proper chance for our young player thay gives some little promise to our future. Suddenly lampard keep choosing the worst possible lineup
-
I don't think the latest transfer window was a disappointment or worrisome like just throwing money or anything like that. Actually, the players we acquired seem more sensible and exciting compared to the summer signings. I mean, aside from Wesley Fofana, some of the signings like Cucuruella, Auba, and even Sterling were either very poor or mediocre. However, the latest transfer window signings like Badiashile, Mudryk, Enzo, even Noni Maduake, and David Fofana give us hope and excitement for the future. The problem is that almost all of them, bar Enzo, are not yet ready to make some significant impact for our first team. Especially, our very expensive players like Mudryk and Felix need significant guidance and proper coaching from our manager and coaching staff, which we are currently lacking. As a result, those players, the whole team actually, has been delivering a weak performance week in and week out, with some games being rather woeful. Combining this with the astronomical figure we spent makes us appear so ridiculous from other or even neutral fans
-
Whatever lampard actually try today, just didn't work. Beyond awful, absolutely embarrassing performance. What i remember from lampard team couple years ago, his team actually play some exciting football, far from consistent enough though His football is a bit risky and require high quality player. And the most obvious problem he persisted to allow from keep happened back then was the massive gap between midfield and defence. But nothing to take from his team today. Shambless and beyond awful. Is what lampard trying to do right now is about trying to motivating his player. What is all about to wear this shirt, but don't have any clue how to actually do it.

He is soo much better on 3 atb. Look class and dependable. But he is lacking so much when we use 4 atb. Lack of pace, lack of concentration, lack of positional awareness, while being mediocre almost at anything else sometimes make me really wish to keep koulibally stay away from our backline. Much prefer anyone else to play there when our coach use 4 defender.

Why people act like roman is the one who decide our transfer decision back then? I know on certain cases, especially transfer with monsterous fee, roman have some final say regarding that. But most of our big transfer is handle by our scout management, director of football and other club hierarchy to handle the large part of player assessment and negotiation process. I think the problem is, while the transfer windows is open, the club structure isn't established yet. So there is no one strong enough to prevent boehly and co to make amateurish and questionable football decision
-
Is it nkuku really good in thight spaces? And also support with excellent composure, good on shielding the ball and great football IQ? Because that aspect what makes aguero really thriving, beside his superb technique, instinct and great finishing
-
Tuchel's team good performance only happened in ucl campaign, beside that most of his team performance under him was really inconsistent and subpar at the best. Don't know how you could think, we were team that capable of beating anyone. It's not just handful games were we really mediocre and awful to watch. Most of the team performance under tuchel regime, was really frustrating aswell, too many mediocre performance and one dimensional too. In the last 8-10 months, i really couldn't bare to watched our attacking play, it's like tuchel only coach that team to creating chances only by 2 method, hurt opponent on the counter and send a lot of crossing over and over again from our fullback

What a performance from kovavic. For me it is one of the best game from him for a some quite time. Really dominant in midfield today
-
I guess I'm not the only one who think midfield pair of kovavic and enzo doesn't work really that well. Decent pairing but not complement each other. Just decent but nothing special. Actually field kovavic on the field together with enzo actually brought another problem. It's basically make enzo as our DM. Make enzo playing much deeper, that just make him less fundamental, less influential in our play Playing enzo most of the time as our DM, not only make our defence like get protected by player who isn't supposedly play as pure defensive midfielder, who should has strong physicality, great positioning, awareness and tactical understanding to play as world class dm, but also hide certain important attributes that make enzo special as midfielder
-
True, ziyech suddenly playing so many games after almost loan him out to psg, is very very weird Or is it actually potter the one who want to keep him? all of sudden, think he know how to integrate him as important piece in our team (but failed to do so) So there's ridiculous rumour of sending the wrong document, i mean is there more laughable reason than that.
-
Why havertz still on the pitch. And if another striker comes in why using havertz outwide? I never understand some of our manager, choose to keep playing him but position him in wider area. It really obvious, havertz lacks important skill to play decent there, it never gonna works And late substitution for aubameyang, oh god, sometimes like he is asking to be sacked
-
Why enzo look rusty and tired? It is the most unenergetic performance from him Suddenly he look like jorginho
-
In ideal world, i hope DDF starts and then after 70-75 minutes just substitute him with auba, to see how auba could perform better or not with this new attacking player especially to see how his game could improve with better attacking setup but it could be turned out really different when i see havertz keep leading our line again again. And the substitution only happen when the game already dead or at time when us being desperate to deliver a decent result
-
Yeah it was very strange. Some player look hesitate to pass to him. Is it some kind a tactic or instruction? Where mudryk is not ball carier, more like quick pass and move kind a player. It was very weird to seeing no one getting close to him and try to create some play with him. Cucurella really didn't help him, he either position himself very deep or too central sometimes he look like covering enzo, basicly cucuruela and everyone around him actually, make mudryk keep getting isolated, outnumber and not having any support at all
-
Rlc probably necessary, to deal with their physicality. If he can maintain his composure, focus, awareness and positioning discipline
-
But actually what is the point to play him this season? Or his potential is really that promising? Even when he does play in our first team, is he could play better than gallagher for our CM/DM? 🙃 His defensive aspect is still very raw i assume Being the last CM option here with very very limited minutes this season, wouldn't help his progress at all I mean someone like chucumaewa who looks more ready, mature and actually show some excitement and hope for future, can't event get sniff to get proper game time here. Let alone him, still very raw and coming from youth competition/second league or something
-
May i ask a question. What qualities he actually has that make people think havertz will thrive when playing as 10? What i saw from him on 2,5 years. He can't even create for shit. He isn't creative. He isn't good dribbbler. Really poor and slow actually His touch sometimes too awkward. He is one of the player who seems weak and sometimes embarrassingly can't hold up the ball. He doesn't have strong upper body, or excellent good control in thight space or having low centre of gravity to help him keeping the ball and do something meaningful when getting muscled and pressure from decent opponent. He isn't has awesome vision, flair, or technically brilliant ala felix, ozil or typical creative player to play as no.10 How many times we actually see, when havertz operates and having the ball far away from the box, he look just like some lost kid. Useless and nothing usefull come from him. So sometimes i do really wondering what makes some people think he could be good performer when he doesn't play as a striker, especially to play in the 10 role
-
True, and what actually kai has? He is not reliable striker. But what he actually is if not striker? So many people say his best position is second striker. But again, what actually he offer, what quality he has? He isn't clinical finisher. He can't hold up the ball, easily to dispose the ball from him. Weak as fuck. Can't dribble. Odd when make passing, weird touch, clueless on the ball, hardly create anything at all. Any passing or anything comes from and to him become absolute nothing and meaningless. He only has movement and clever run when our team have moment to counter. But beside that, most of the time he look like very odd as a striker. Some occasionally header goal, cannot save his performance. Most of the time he show very poor performance on his general play as a forward. He just cannot cope with this league and doesn't suit our team. Hardly looks capable doing good on anything. Generational talent lmao
-
Even thinking we should register fofana than havertz. Do you think we have real chance to go through later stages in CL with havertz as our main striker? Oh gosh, one goal at cl final, really glossed over his absolutely poor and unreliable striker he actually is
-
Just seen couple video of matheus nunes. I'm quite impressed, i think his style of play is close to enzo. Really like what i see about him. Type of midfielder that we truly lacked Much prefered him than caicedo and onana. Where both player a bit similiar to kante. Don't get me wrong, kante type of player in our team like us is very important. But player who have similiar playing still like enzo could elevate our midfield and our team general play massively. He has some composure on the ball, has some good technical ability, the way he progress the ball forward, most of the time keep looking to make forward pass, and a bit combative as well. To see that kind of player in our midfield is really exciting than make some addition with other destroyer player or any other midfielder with limited brain and technical skill on the ball
