One thing I want from this guy is to be consistent. I was surprised he tried a whole new formation during the second half but I want him to stick to it next week. Conte should've brought Moses and Michy right after our goal so we could keep our momentum going. Milner was playing as a FB ffs and we didn't exploit that at all.. but then he was against Ivanovic and Willian for 84 minutes.. And their CB partnership, apart from Diego's goal were watching the game from the stands. Pool were losing their legs in the second half cause of their pressing and running all over the pitch. And that's why I think they will not maintain this form for the whole season. It will show during the holiday period. After all the league is marathon, not a sprint. But the overreaction here is big.. Conte started last of the all the managers in PL this season and this was his 6th game in charge.. They'll probably be a lot more games we'll lose this season but we need to give him time. I'll be a lot more worried if we don't see any significant changes in the starting line-up and our tactics as a whole in the coming 2 months.

I was just gonna write the same. If Terry and Cahill can't play against Liverpool this would be our back 4, no doubt about it. Not that we have any other options tbf. It can be a blessing in disguise but it could be a total disaster too given the first game of this back 4 will be against a Liverpool with a very good attack under Klopp.

So I guess.. no Terry (left on crunches) and Cahill for Friday?

This game is very entertaining but those antics from both teams... One team is questioning every referee's decision and the other are diving all over the pitch any time they can.
