Yeah, and the timing of the announcement is weird. After tomorrow, when Atleti are officially out of the CL, Simone will announce his departure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It will be absolutely fantastic if United miss out on top 40 and don't win the EL. Mou's whining will be music for my ears. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Palace were doing a good job of shutting them down until Sakho was taken off. And I really didn't expect them to do anything after they conceded. The Liverpool win secure their place in the PL, so it would've been a shock if they turn up like they did against us, Arsenal and Liverpool. Spurs were not that good and the stats flatter them. Yes, they dominate possession and weren't threatened but that was more to Palace's game plan than their superiority. Could've easy been a 0-0 but Hennessy who was a Neuer against us was beaten by a 30-yard shot tonight. Still, they grind out a result without playing that good in comparison to the last couple of weeks.Arsenal are very bad atm but if we win, the pressure on them + a NLD derby I can see them finally losing points.Won't get my hopes up for an Arsenal win but a draw will do. It seems these two draw a lot in their last games.

Don't want to jinx it but Spurs looked absolutely clueless in the first-half. I'm not sure if they even had a shot.

Conte, start resting players. We have a tougher game in 4 days.

Costa scores

Kante

4 mins in and Costa's already on my nerves..

Of course Liverpool are gonna bottle it.. This win means Palace are surely safe now and are gonna just roll over to Spurs. Need to do our job.

Do we hope to go to ET?

He is our ref after all.

Ake's been great. If he continues like that in the second, I can't see how he can not land a starting place for the future.

Lmao that plane.

Finally against Tottenham - he hates Tottenham and he hates Tottenham.

Since Real established themselves back in the CL under Mourinho after failing to reach the QF for a couple of years and Barca's dominance in the past decade, UEFA are trying hard to have the first (I think?) El Classico final. They are nearly every year in the semi-s and only once were put against each other and the other times they were the visitors the first game. And the two Spanish giants always manage to bottle it. It seems it's not gonna happen this year too but if somehow Barca manages to qualify for the semi-s, I can bet these two won't face each other again. Until UEFA's wet dream becomes a reality, I don't think it will ever stop.

This tournament is a joke now. Glad that Barca is fucked tough. They send the ref to the wrong Spanish city this time. I hope Atletico and Real will play in the semi-final this time. Won't stand a third final for the past 4 years between the two.

Good result for Arsenal. One time I'm rooting for them and for my surprise they did their job. Now I feel dirty saying it but this weekend Liverpool must beat Palace before the latter host Spurs.
-
Can't believe how times have changed. Arsenal wants us to win the league so it won't be Spurs and now I root for Arsenal so they have something to play for at the Lane. Not that it's not enough as of now since it's a NLD but with Arse's current form.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The game yesterday showed why this guy need to have world-class partners like Sanchez. I'm not saying he or Conte wasn't at fault for not trying something different when you can clearly see Herrera (+ help) was man-marking him the whole game but Mourinho would never have the luxury to man-mark Eden if he played for Barca, for example, because you know the danger can come from somewhere else - Messi, Suarez etc.

I think maybe he'll change something now. After the game, I haven't see him so pissed since his early days when we lost to Arsenal and Liverpool. We haven't play particularly well since January but we were still grinding results where we needed to. When you you don't play very well and still win, and keep a big gap it's easy to overlook the big picture, but now with more pressure than ever this season, I think he'll make some changes. I think now we know he's a manger who doesn't have a plan b during games when things go south and if we're losing at halftime, we will probably not turn a game around. But he showed he can changes things during the season and if he didn't, we would probably not be in the positing we're in right now.

Conte got it bad but watched the game on Sky and Alonso literally minutes before kick-off was was told he can't play. Conte needed to react fast but he choose wrong. He needed to change the formation from the get-go, not the personnel cause we don't have alternatives for our wing-backs. The performance was bad and the early goal didn't us any favors. I thought we will get back into the game during the second half but their second out out of nothing.. On too the next. Must take it one game at a time. Let's hope for a better performance against Spurs where a win is a must to derail them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Bad decision early in the game, every time a United player goes down it's a free kick, only 1 yellow and it's for Costa ofc. Conte needs to change something during HT. I will be content with a draw, the way the game is going.
