  1. Using the wildcard lets u have unlimited transfers until the next deadline. Theres a break so we have a bit longer doing it now. It's good but gets me on it every day seeing what i can change.
  2. Ok so the transfer window is open in Turkey still so it looks like it's adios to Meireles. Good for us and him tbh.
  3. After QPR's deadline day blitz and our shocking performance in the super cup, i am not exactly confident about this game. We're probably their biggest game of the season whereas they are just a stepping stone to go onto bigger and better things. they ain't won all season, i can see us losing this game like we did last season. I hope Fridays game taught us a valuable lesson and we bounce back and fuck them big time but we'll see. Marin.... where are you? Moses and Marin must play with Hazard and Torres. No Mata and no Ramires hopefully.
  4. Jumped about 20 places, needed that week indeed. Now i've hit the wildcard so have 2 weeks to do whatever the fuck i like to my team. As Twitter users would say... #happydays
  5. I do agree, if Falcao came, Torres would have to go. Maybe be involved in a swap deal. He's always said he wants to finish his career there anyway so it would be a good thing to happen. We took a big gamble on Torres and it just simply hasn't worked out, these things happen. If he gets the winner tho on Saturday 29th September, he will always be in my heart. Tbh tho, his goal in Barca will never be forgotten no matter what.
  6. I laughed when i saw Borini as a winger. They was simply never gonna work in the slightest. I feel sorry for Borini really, he had a good loan spell in the championship with Swansea then scored a few for Roma and he was suddenly awesome. He needed to settle into a team first, this move is awful for him imo. I've watched football for 18 years. I've never seen a team waste as much money on shit than Liverpool. I'm not saying Borini is shit btw because he'll be good in the right team at the right time but their business as a whole has been nothing short of shocking. Think we can thank their king for that tho. 2005, 6, 7, 8, 9 i though Liverpool were getting closer. They were fucking hard to beat and were a team you'd genuinely worry about. Since 09, they've gone more down hill than this girl.
  7. Absolutely. It's the kind of release clause that you would just have to trigger because he's worth every penny. We spent more on Hazard and Oscar (i won't even mention Torres). Falcao will have the impact of those 2 imo and maybe more. It's a no brainer, just activate that clause!
  8. This is so exciting but SERIOUSLY!? His Buyout clause is £47.5m i read somewhere, it will be activated without doubt because i'm sure Atletico wont sell him otherwise, they bought him for £40m. He's won all he can there tbh, they'll never win the league because of the 2 big teams. He's had great success in Spain and Portugal so now the best league in the world awaits the best striker on the planet. This would be monumental. He has the strength and heading power of a Drogba and can score from anywhere with any foot. Absolute master.
  9. He's right tho, Liverpool are shit and they could actually genuinely finish in the bottom half. They could go down, Leeds '03 and West Ham '02 were better than Liverpool '12. Fact. I worry for them but that worry provides me with such enjoyment. Surprised how bad City were there. Don't you just get the feeling they'll beat Man Utd tho? I so for some reason. Maybe because Nottingham Forest are the only team with 5 syllables which works with the song lol or maybe it's from the Brian Clough era.
  10. Stunning goal from Adriano, screamer.
  11. That was gutting. They weren't even good at all but once again Southampton fucking bottled it. If they can't handle the pressure of a lead against a big team, fuck off back to the Championship and don't bother coming back. Routine defending from a corner against City and now United. How many times did they try and clear their lines and get absolutely nowhere? Fucking bottle job pussy side. They shoulda killed the game anyway, they got into so many great positions but got scared towards the top of the pitch so the attacks petered out. They played so well but what does playing well get you? Nothing. As for Liverpool, they were a disgrace to their club and all the tradition they have. That's the worst i think i've ever seen Liverpool at Anfield. They're basically playing a fucking reserve side. Their first team is average then they have Sterling, Shelvey, Borini... £15m for Allen when they wouldn't spend £6m on Dempsey? It's basically Suarez vs the rest and Suarez can't finish for shit. I was so pissed off watching that game, it was the easiest game Arsenal will have all year i bet. They had a big chance to mount further pressure on this Arsenal team and they just rolled over. Sahin, Gerrard, Allen, absolutely anonymous, i'd even go as far as saying they were worse than we were on Friday. Shambles of a side. All in all, a very, fucking shit weekend including Friday and this awful cunt of a day.
  12. Fact was, his job on the pitch is to help the defence and stop their midfield walking through us. I don't think that happened at all, it should've been at least 7-1, the woodwork was hit 3 times, still dunno what Luiz was doing with the last one, weird stuff goes through that guys mind. Mikel did look good on the ball and did some good things but he didn't do his job. Every time an Atletico midfielder had the ball, i was worried they would score. We were cut open so much it was like watching Brazil vs Scotland.
  13. That trophy is weird. Looks like a Paralympic trophy.
  14. Hoping for Kagawa and Arteta to score braces in 3-2 defeats He's got 6 players today i think lol.
  15. It will be surpassed though as there are still players to play. Kezza needs a Ba goal to keep the lead i'd assume. My H2H opponent got 7 points so far lol.
  16. He'll be sold before he plays for us no doubt. Signed for £8m sold for £20m happy days.
  17. I've heard his buyout clause is £47.5m. Considering they bought him for £40m that somewhat surprises me. If we sign him... just wow. Doubt it will happen tho. If we signed him with Hulk next season or in Jan it would be the best thing ever as they were together at Porto.
  18. Thank you Tevez for giving me 24 points today as captain. 2 assists, 1 goal and he should get some bonus points too so could go up to 30. Much needed. Also got a goal for Zamora. Just played my Wild card anyway. Adam Johnson and Steven Fletcher IN! (Plus more) Could be interesting. 48 points still with Vermaelen, Kagawa and Arteta to come. Hope i don't get any more points in truth.
  19. yeah with Lampard and McEachran in the double pivot.... actually lets not go there. Hopefully that Forest youngster Bamford can be good for our latest crop of youngsters.
  20. Maybe the celebration was a message for us. I enjoyed watching the goal, he's already showing that he's not scared to attack and he seems happy there, he's always been a confident lad. Terry went there and made it. Bertrand went there and looks like he'll make it (hopefully not as a left winger...). Let's hope Sam follows suit. And all English back 4 Cole - Terry - Cahill - Hutchinson. I'd love to see it.
  21. Welcome to the forum mate, thanks for the post. I've always rated him. I went to a Carling Cup match between Chelsea and QPR in 2009/10 and he was awarded man of the match. I've said so many times that he's good enough to be playing RB for us but when he retired in 2010 i think it was with a knee problem, i was gutted because i know he's a quality young English defender and it would be such a shame if his career was ended so early without showing everyone just how good he is. He also had an awesome game when we beat Stoke 7-0 towards the back end of our title winning year setting Lampard up with a stunning cross, stunning finish too btw. When i heard that he could come back though, i was absolutely delighted. Since he came back there's been those obvious doubts. Can he play 90 minutes? Can he play 3 or 4 games in a month? Can he play a whole season? Very happy he's with a good club like Forest. I hope he proves he can play many games and i hope he helps bring Forest back to where they belong. I hope Sam is back with us next season fighting with Azpilicueta for the RB spot. Sam Hutchinson in my opinion will be good enough for the top levels of football if he can prove he's 100% fit and no chance of the knee problem resurfacing. He's the type of RB that gets forward a lot and can whip in some good crosses, he's also very quick. Forest will enjoy him.
  22. Not great 103. Some of the questions just make no sense and if i was was intelligent enough to work them out, i wouldn't be working in Wilko's!
  23. Surely we'd all know if it had happened, it woulda been on the club website and SSN. He played alright against Newcastle and as has been said, Essien is on loan to Real, i don't think we'd let 2 go without replacing at least 1. I don't think this will or has happened. Strange lol. Also Fenerbahce fucked up their UCL qualifier.
  24. Wow shocking. Why sigh him then if u can't afford him you knobs. I hope he goes to the USA because he'd be a great there and there are so many nice places to go. Go to Seattle. Surely as a free agent now he can go where he wants.
