He didn't feature against Derby either. Maybe he's injured, really hope not. Will have a look shortly.

Can't go wrong with Hutch this month.

Things like that really piss me off. City were battered yet they get a terrible decision and get away with a point. Joe Hart was unbelievable it has to be said.
-
I only watched the 2nd half but from what i saw, Zenit were beaten by the better team. Thank fuck we didn't spend that much on Hulk, he's so predictable Milan handled him easily, he takes on the daftest shots. Milan controlled that 2nd half, Zenit created nothing. I really expected a Zenit win. Their defence was pretty shocking too.

After beating Arsenal, it's imperative we win this game or beating Arsenal wont count for shit. This is a game we really must win. Norwich are a team struggling badly, conceding lots of goals, not scoring many and yet to win. I fancy them to go down so we have to take advantage of the Arsenal game especially as our next 2 games are Tottenham and Man Utd. We'll have bad spells so it's so vital we win this game and carry on the good run. 3-0.
-
And they still struggle. They've lost 2 already, top of the league and we're having a laugh.
-
Juve fucked me so now im a tad pissed so want some money back. Man City, Arsenal, Real Madrid, Zenit. 7.2/1, £10. £82 back.

It wasn't great but we won and Robbie once again learnt a lot about the players. Lampard slows the game down so now after seeing the last 2 games, it's surely confirmed to everyone that Ramires and Mikel are the 2 holding midfielders. 4-0 was extremely harsh, i enjoyed watching them play although we scored some nice goals, they were taking huge risks and that cost them the game. our class shone through in the end but it wasn't great. The Juve/Shakhtar result was a great result though, now it's in our hands to top the group. Juve could struggle getting out of the group now. Long way to go. On a side note, that Okora at the back for the danes is only 21, he's absolutely fantastic. Gotta pick him up before others do. He'll be at a big club soon, no doubt. I voted Mata man of the match because he got 2 goals, the first very important and he took them so well. He's back to his best for sure, he looked comfortable on the ball yesterday too and made it look easy. Nobody was phenomenal.

Got that right lol. What a shocking performance by QPR, they were awful today. Sparky better be careful, his job is really on the line right now.
-
QPR - West Ham in an hour. If QPR fail to win, Hughes is treading a very thin line. I think they will win though.

The way Robbie managed the team on Saturday was exceptional. This performance gave me more confidence that he can be a very successful Chelsea manager for a long time. He played the perfect team against Arsenal. He moved Rami to where he should be and dropped Lampard in a big game knowing that we may have been over run by their midfield. The players were great but Di Matteo deserves all the credit. He suffered as a player against them for us except that stunning goal he got against us in that League Cup sem but now he's won there with us as a manager and he won with WBA as a manager too. The guy knows what he's doing.
-
I think Hughton as they have us next and then Arsenal i think after already a quite shocking start. If they lose both and maybe fail to win their next, he could be a gonner.
-
Everyone dives, even Stoke. I've seen Crouch and Etherington dive before. Referees are so shit, players have to dive to get something.
-
We dived? Chelsea were the team in blue, not red. They hit the deck more than us and they have a history of it. If we dived on Saturday then great, we beat them at both their games. Passing and diving. I still think they dived more though.
-
It's looking good but now this is where we have to focus. Norwich drew 3-3 at Arsenal last season and beat the yids at WHL. Beating Arsenal is completely pointless if we fail to beat Norwich at home. Also this will be a Norwich team who played pretty well here last season and they will be hurting from what's been going on with them this season. They're still yet to win a game, we have to concentrate and win the game. Very big game now before the the double of Tottenham away and Man Utd at home.
-
Basically Serie A and Liga BBVA are already decided after half a dozen games. I can't believe how weak this league is getting especially the Milan teams becoming distinctively average. Juve are gonna win it by a record margin, they might even go unbeaten again. It's a weaker league than it was last season.
-
Only just seen and heard about what Barcelona did last night, unbelievable. 89' and 90'+ to win from 2-0 down. Real Madrid must have no motivation for this game against Deportivo. The league is already over.
-
Man Utd are the example with how they underestimated teams last season but we have better options than they had. Our reserve players are genuinely good, top level players who are part of the first squad set up. We can make 4 or 5 changes and win the game, it's a fact.
-
We have to rest players, we'll still have a team good enough to win against them i'm sure. Romeu, Moses, Azpi, Sturridge etc are all players that know what they are doing. They're hardly a bunch of amateurs. I'm confident any team will be able to beat them. Not being over confident, just realistic. We have loads of games this season, squad rotation is vital.

Surely there's no coincidence that Ramires got man of the match in his first game holding whereas every other match he's been hopeless. There's a big difference between being shit and getting man of the match. Looking on here you can see everyone played well because of how many people have been voted for. We didn't create a lot of chances but that's because Torres couldn't quite make the most of the breaks in the 2nd half. We really could've put gloss on the score board. Been a brilliant start though, loving what i'm seeing. The only times Arsenal had chances or got in good positions were because of us giving the ball away very cheaply. No doubt we deserved to win. We were comfortable.
-
If Torres was really back to his best we would've won 6-1 with the amount of times we broke with him. I'm always one of the guys to back him and make excuses for him but I genuinely thought, goal aside he was terrible in posession. He messed up that chance to put us 2-0 up and every other time if you watch the match properly especially in the 2nd half he had a brilliant chance to break away and he either fell over the ball or got easily tackled. If he didn't score, he'd be getting dogs abuse on here like always. I do believe though with that starting XI, he has a big chance to have a good season. We need him now more than ever and his goal against Arsenal should bring him a bit more confidence. I still believe he didn't look so confident on the ball yesterday. The score could've been more emphatic in the 2nd half if he had converted his good positioning which he still lacks.
-
We should be buzzing now and full of confidence. I'm so sure we'll go there and win comfortably. We cannot be in a better state of mind. I can't wait to watch us play again after today. The 'new' Chelsea is standing up.
-
Don't know what some of you were watching but Torres was absolutely awful today, the amount of times he fell over or fell over the ball, miss controlled, fucked up great opportunities etc was madness. So many times we broke on them and every time he wasted the chance by losing the ball in some pathetic way. I'm delighted he scored, it was a very clever finish, i love it when he scores but there's no doubt that his performance apart from the goal left a lot to be desired. He tried very hard though and never let their players settle but with the ball, he needs to be more clinical. He always seems to be caught in 2 or 3 minds what to do. He played better last season without the goals. This year he seems to be getting the goals. Let it continue.

What a performance! i'm still shocked that Di Matteo showed some bollocks and finally put out a real team. Ramires as a CDM, Oscar as the number 10, the captain, the leader, the legend that is John Terry, after all he's gone through, in the starting XI and Lampard benched as it's not his type of game any more. Di Matteo showed us all today that he's a real fucking manager and it answered a lot of questions for me. I was sceptical about this game as you know but when i saw the starting XI i started to believe and we started the game so well. We played Arsenal at their own game which we have never done before, we dominated possession and we played the ball around brilliantly. Glad Torres scored, he was awful in everything else he done imo but he scored a very crucial clever goal which is his job at the end of the day and Mata's goal, maybe a bit lucky but it was one of those undefendable balls, brilliant delivery. Arsenal had a few chances near the end but that's to be expected, we thoroughly deserved to win and i'm so buzzing even now having just got home. My man of the match is without doubt Jon Obi Mikel. I've criticised him enough times but he was immense today. He broke up their play so often, showed his strength and started our attacks as well as showing a great touch. He was perfect today, absolutely perfect. I'm so happy today. We've just shown that we can challenge for the title and that Robbie genuinely knows what he's doing. Today went as well as it could have gone. Maybe the Atletico game was a blessing is disguise because things have changed since that horrible day in Monac Match of the day will be well worth watching tonight and i'll watch goals on sunday too and maybe even MOTD 2 tomorrow i don't care. YES!

Hour and a half to go then off to the pub. At least we'll stay in a good league position whatever happens and we'll stay ahead of them. If we can win the game, we'll go 7 points ahead of them. It'll be a huge win if we can do it.
