  1. I'll welcome this tosser to the site even tho i dispise his breed of human being.
  2. lol that sounds about right, he took all the praise for the comeback and if truth be told, we all kinda knew it probably wasnt his motivational teamtalk lol. Steve Clarke shouldve been appointed our next manager anyway instead of grant.
  3. he dives a lot now, he's replaced the showboating by going down like a sack of shit everytime he looks as tho hes in trouble. Learnt that off Robben defo, have the same motion lol, arms out and chuck yaself to the deck.
  4. well he loses the ball a lot too so that means he's not good at anything
  5. But his all round game isnt the best, well at least so far this season. Hes good on the ball agree'd, but without the ball? he has a reckless tackle (can't tackle), he jogs back without breaking sweat, he doesn't score goals. Except for being good and composed on the ball and a decent short range passer, He doesnt do a lot else.
  6. i remember reading something in the mail about jose having a huge argument with Terry and Joe Cole on the training pitch. This was when Joe Cole was unhappy about being left out etc and Cole apparently asked Jose what his role was within the club because Roman was picking the team and making all the major decisions including signings. He was acusing Mourinho of having no imput in anything. This story was before Jose's departure. I know from reading that that Jose wasn't on good terms with Joe Cole or John Terry. I started to worry back then.
  7. i wouldn't be dissappointed if he leaves, he's found it a major struggle this season, been hugely ineffective when he's played. He needs to play for a team that actually wants him and will actually play him. In a team like sunderland, he'll be one of the first names on the team sheet and thats what he needs.
  8. its looking interesting. As much as i think we're sure to blow up sooner or later, we keep winning. Liverpool, well.......BRAMBLE!!! lol what a fucking goal, take a boo son. They are proving how shit they really are, Wigan at "the Fortress Anfield" come and take a point. They are out of it, that will be the 19th year for those poor jobless squatters wait for "their trophy". Man Utd are obviously gonna be there at the end but they look really dodgy defending set pieces, you can get at them. Arsenal......the team i hate with a religous passion always seem to get the job done. It doesnt matter how shit they play, they win this season and i think thats quite worrying. Someone up there is on their side this season. Spose if you look it, it looks as tho it could stay the way it is at the moment on current form. But there's a long way to go and with some good signings, we'll hopefully go on a decent run. When the African nations is over, i can see us surging and going on a great run, just hope its good enough to bring the prem trophy back home. Looking slightly back, Everton and Man City are looking good for the uefa cup along with Villa. Newcastle are in shit, Allardyce is gonna be given the boot sooner rather than later i feel. Tottenham might go on a good run but i feel they'll be too late to challenge for europe. Pompeys home form has let them down, but maybe they can still challenge the euro places too. Further down, Derby are doomed, but the rest.....its gonna be very close. Maybe not as close as the 04/05 season but its gonna be interesting down there as they are all equally as crap as eachother lol
  9. ok i'll admit, he was good against fulham when he came on, sidwell was pants but he has been lazy for the majority when he's played.
  10. i'm proper un all, but i dunno what to post. hmmm maybe if i was a bit older i could discuss how the fuck we managed to concede 92 goals in 1978/79 and come bottom with 20 points with results such as: Chelsea 1-4 Man City Middlesbrough 7-2 Chelsea Ipswich 5-1 Chelsea Nottingham Forrest 6-0 Chelsea Why the fuck were we so bad then?....hmm looking at those scores, i'm glad i missed that year by a good 8 years.
  11. even joe cole and malouda's quality from dead balls this season have been shite, SWP took a few corners vs fulham and he just kinda chips/drives them in the kind of easy way making sure they get in the area and miss the first man. Belletti took some good free kicks and corners. Depends who's playing really. Ballack has taken a couple of great FK's lately so if he plays, he should be on them. Corners probably Belletti but thats if he plays, he looks dodgy at the back to me, i feel safer with ferreira at the back (never thought i would say that).
  12. yeah i can understand the thread, i'm not being critical as such, but he was given lots of abuse last season (guilty) and hes only played 3-4 games whatever since. The main thing is seeing how well the 2 play together this year and not one or the other. And about mikel..... he keeps the ball well maybe, Last season he impressed me a lot but so far this season he's done sweet fuck all. I'm pleased he's gone to the African nations cup. He's lazy. I think Lamps will stay, i guess the argument with cara would be that once your a legend, perhaps you wanna move on and try something different. I hope he doesn't but you wouldn't blame him would you. Well i wouldn't. Down to him i suppose. I hope he stays tho.
  13. ah this brings back memories this kinda game. I remember watching an FA Cup game in 95/96 against them at loftus road which we won 2-1 thanks to a winner from paul furlong. Thats like the last season we played them all the way back 12 years ago, its nice to bring them back to the bridge. Should be a great atmosphere because theres a bit of rivalry there, london derby and all. I reckon a comfertable 2 or 3-0 win. EDIT: I think the africans have gone.
  14. this is a bit random.....ok i was expecting a whole load of stuff bitching about our prawn sarnie brigade or something among those lines but its just pretty much random spam as far as i can see. So wheres this proper Chelsea thing. I'm waiting for ppl to start talking about the time we got knocked out the FA Cup at home to leyton orient in 1978 or something.
  15. hes said this before tho hasnt he, i posted this ages ago........ I don't think theres any doubt that he'll stay tho. We'll just get all these stories now for the rest of the season with nothing confirmed.
  16. there is no way in a million years that would ever happen. "Wayne Bridge’s unhappy 3½year spell at Chelsea"? Since when was he unhappy. What a piece of shit story. Whoever wrote the whole thing needs shooting.
  17. Ballack is better at set plays by the way, whoever said lampard is better at set plays on the first page needs help. And about Lampard and Ballack in the same team, its simple......get mikel out, i personally think he's been crap this season. Maybe slightly harsh but he's been so ineffective. I spose you could play all 3 tho if we're playing without wingers. Back on topic, Lampard is more effective out of the 2 playing with the other 3. Lampard all the way. I can't believe after all the abuse Ballack got last season, he's now played 3 decent games and there's a "Lampard or Ballack" thread.
  18. don't worry, sooner or later we'll have an injury free season and just wipe the premiership out and win the league by 12 points. We'll get the bruised ankles and mancs and goons can have broken bones and fractures for a pissing change. Might have to wait a year or so tho but it'll be worth the wait
  19. i dont think you can compare the two. In an ideal world you would have Lampard attacking and Ballack Sitting. Ballack is better defensively and Lampard is better offensively. If i HAD to chose 1, it would be Lampard all day long. He scores 20 goals a season, he creates loads too. Ok so he hasnt dominated the midfield like he did around 2003-2005 but he consistantly finds the net and a deadly pass or two. He has won us so many games its untrue. When Lamps is on form, there's no one more devastating.
  20. its incredible how much this is happening. i was shocked when i heard about it on soccer saturday. for his nethew to be on the pitch and witness it is terrible. can only think of his family at this time. its dead sad.
  21. new manager......hmmm wishful thinking after he signed a 4 year deal. i would take anyone ive actually heard of instead of this guy. just watching him makes me think of starting up smoking. any biggish name or ex blue i'll be happy with in this current joke situation. its daunting thinking i could be 25 by the time hes finishing his last year. please god no.
  22. they lose that wanker Eboue too i think. wish they lost their whole squad tho fukin hate em
  23. Anelka and a right back. i'm not confident about Belletti. Maicon is a good shout. We dont need lots of players really. with a fully fit squad, we're the best team in the league i think. They'll be back one day.
  24. well we're somehow winning games even with our injury crisis, you never know, Arsenal dont look like slipping up tho. We need Arsenal to slip up desperately. They shouldve against everton but got unbelievably lucky. It seems as tho their names on it with the amount of luck they're getting this season.
  25. absolute legend. He showed in those 3 years just what a great player he was and was a great manager for us too. made football look so easy when he was on the ball.
