His partnership with Duff in Joses first season was a major factor in us winning the league. Since then, he's had more sicknotes than Darren Anderton. On his day, he's the best winger in the world i think, but we sold him at the best time possible. His last 2 seasons were stop start and it was only gonna carry on that way. Damien Duff is pretty much the same himself, he was sold because he never got over the shoulder injury. He was scared to go into any challenges and he was sold simply because of his injuries. Robben was scared to challenge last season too, still got injured lol. Still as TB said, he is a fucking drama queen and he certainly frustrated the life outa me in his last 2 years.

he'll be sold to some team in a lower league. He'll never play, neither will woods. Bringing up young tallent just isnt the same nowadays. In 10 years, you wont see hardly any English players about unless there's a rule change. Just look at Arsenal and David Bentley. Fucking joke.

Swp Hails Chelsea Spirit After Last-gasp Win
Ollie replied to Steve's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
I always had faith in him but i with he would stop running past the ball and hitting crosses into row S. His game has been much better in the last season and a half tho and he's started scoring a bit more too. And btw i would always play Essien over Mikel if there's a choice. Mikel maybe better on the ball, but Essien has a far better all round game, specially on the defensive side of things. You could conceivably play Ballack, Mikel, Essien and Lampard in a diamond tho tbh. Maybe worth a try sometime in some 2 bob cup against 2 bob opponents. -
Liam Daish Julian Dicks Neil Ruddock Paul Ince David Batty Alan Shearer Francis Benalli Patrick Vieira Roy Keane Vinny Jones Thats just a few names for now since ive been watching football.
-
he's been a bit harshly dealt with really, i mean, his team have had more injured players than fit players since he took over, no one has done it for newcastle for like 40 years so why sack someone after 5 months? There's not anyone in the world who could do anything with that newcastle side from August to January. They need a clear out, they need to get rid of like 8 players and bring in 10 they are that bad. They need someone like Harry Redknapp because he'll have the bottle do clear out their squad and sort them out. They have good indivividuals, but they only play when they feel like it. They don't play as a team or as a unit. Rubbish fucking side, they'll never win anything in my life time unless they change some serious shit.

Tottenham are cack, they threw away that game just now, The luckiest team in premiership history (Arsenal) got an unbelievably lucky equaliser, yids just wasted chance after chance in the first half. Tottenham can't keep clean sheets, we can.
-
Games vs Tottenham arent easy but they are a very strange team this season, i'll go for a 1-0 too, its gonna be a test thats for sure. Would be fucked up if the team that haven't won at SB for 18 years, ends our 70-odd game unbeaten home record. Nah fuck that, wake up! cant happen.

i'm watching the extended highlights now on Sky Sports 1 and really we couldve been 3-0 up by half time very easily. We were excellent in that first half. Just watched Ballacks free kick again, he defo has to be the man for them, no question. I thought it was in and even on the replays i thought there was a hole in the net or something. Damn shauny took his goal well. I'm really looking forward to seeing Lampard with Ballack this season. Last season it wasn't quite right, was compared to the Lampard, Gerrard England partnership. I'm interested to see it this season tho. Has the makings of being quite special going on Ballacks performances this season. When Lescott went through after he scored the own goal, i fucking bricked it lol. 5 mins to forget for poor Joleon, but in all fairness, a draw wouldve been a complete injustice. Seems as tho we're through tho and unfortunately thats not the case. The 2nd leg will be hard but i really cant wait for it. P.S Elliott, i think your ratings are pretty much spot on and the comments too. And Stamford i remember that Flo winner vs Villa, was like the 94th minute and it put us top or took villa off top or something. What a season that was, best and most exciting season since the premiership started (98/99) EDIT: Ok, ive just seen Mikels tackle and for fuck sake whats going on? The red card rule is sposed to be for 2 footed lunges, not studs up challenges. Tackles with studs up are sposed to be yellow cards. How can you get sent of for that!? you'll get 5 reds a fucking game!!

Referee was absolutely horendous tho, deserves to be shot

OMG i'm still kinda buzzing, that was insane, the atmosphere was awesome, made sure i got the east stand to open their holes, it dont take much, just a few ppl (us 5) to sing what the MHL were singing and everyone joins in, piecea piss really. i'll give the toffee men their due too, they sung really passionately even tho they only have 2 songs lol. First half was complete domination, i was loving what i was watching. We passed well, the movement was good, everything was kinda slippin into place perfectly and what a class finish from shauny to give us a well deserved half time lead. Second half started pretty much the same, but when mikel was sent off, the game changed and we got edgy. The fans and the players got edgy and when they scored the equaliser, i seriously feared the worst. We quietened down which maybe was expected because tbh we felt really down after the goal, we started to give the ball away sloppily and we was all getting stressed in the crowd for around 10-15 mins. We showed great desire tho, we slowly got our act back together and it got the crowd back into the game as we believed we would get the winner. The winner was weird, it looked like SWP jumped above Lescott but i think its been confirmed as on OG now which would make more sense, would love to see it again tho. When Everton scored, they went fucking crazy so when we got the winner, boy we fucking give it to em. What a game, It's not over yet tho. Roll on Goodison!! Can't wait! When you watch Chelsea win on TV in the last minute, its awesome, but when you're actually there, its priceless. Ive now seen 3 last minute winners, Leboeuf vs Leicester in 1997, Dalla-Bona vs Ipswich in 2001 i think and now this one on 2008. It's one of the greatest feelings in the world. I gotta go more often, there's just nothing like it.

Right, ive picked my tickets up so ive already been to SB once today...... Now its all about putting in a decent performance and a good win on my 2nd visit of the day Leaving in 30 mins woooo lol

-
that'll be a cool thing to have on here
-
i would meet up but i'm going with like 4 other ppl and i dont even know 2 of them. Still seems as tho theres a few ppl going from here so i might find someone. But i'm in East Upper so maybe not lol. I'll be in a Chelsea Jacket and the White away shirt that like never gets used. Great to see its Sold Out Ive gotta pick my tickets up from the ground tho, so i finish work, get tickets, come home, relax and go back to the bridge again
-
its extremely tight at the top, i missed a lot of games so obviously i have no chance of winning but i'm targetting the top 10 and i need my arsenal points added on lol
-
Modified first post with dates. I think its a pretty dodgy draw and it will be difficult but i still strongly believe we'll go through. I wanna see Liverpool vs Havant & Waterlooville though even tho liverpool will go through, it will be funny to see. Arsenal have a tricky draw, stoke will be harder to beat than newcastle tho. Man Utd vs Tottenham or reading is tough for man utd too so this could end up being a very good draw.
-
Full draw for the fourth round of the FA Cup Arsenal v Stoke City/Newcastle Coventry v Walsall/Millwall Oldham v Huddersfield Town Swindon/Barnet v Fulham/Bristol Rovers Wigan v Chelsea Luton/Liverpool v Swansea/Havant & Waterlooville Southend v Barnsley Southampton v Norwich/Bury Man Utd v Tottenham/Reading Portsmouth v Plymouth Derby/Sheff Wed v Preston Watford v Wolves Peterborough v Charlton/West Brom Sheff Utd v West Ham/Man City Mansfield v Middlesbrough Tranmere/Hereford v Cardiff Ties to be played on 26 & 27 January
-
Wigan Away it is then. Bit of an Anti Climax really but we should go through. Liverpool vs Havant & Waterlooville may happen, that'll be funny to watch.
-
i cant for the life of me see that Drogba can be 100% fit. He's gonna fuck himself up in the African nations cup i can see it. I hope he is 100% fit tho and i hope he has a hell of a tournament but i just cant see it. And yeah, Welcome back DD, Cya in around a month

i dont remember lampard ever scoring a decent free kick without deflecting or something. In 05/06 he scored against villa by simply side footing it past sorensen along the ground but that was down to an awful wall. Same vs Bolton in the same season when we won 5-1 but again that was down to the worst set play defending you'll ever see. The only one hes ever got right was the one against Fulham away when we won 4-1 in 04/05. It all depends who is playing. If Ballack plays, all the free kicks from between 18 yards and 25 years must be his. From around 30 yards it should be Alex as he seems to have a more precise shot than lamps from their, he has a history of scoring free kicks like that but again, with everyone fit, he probably wont play as it will be JT and Riccy. Drogba has scored a few excellent free kicks for us too. The one he scored agaist portsmouth in 04/05 was perfect. He scored against PSG and Forest too. Shevchenko also has a pretty mean Free kick, again, better than Lampards. The one he took against arsenal was quality, just a shame it was down the middle, he took a similar one against boro last season that was almost perfect and i dont know if anyone saw his FK against Italy, fucking stunning strike off the underside of the bar. He curls them with a hell of a lot of power and his accuracy from them is very good. We have a hell of a lot of options for free kicks this season. I just wish Lampard would leave them alone. Ok now we come to corners. Malouda hits the first man everytime. Lampard has 2 variations, he either hits the first man or floats it in high for the GK to grab it. SWP drives them in kinda floaty but always puts them in the right place, Belletti is excellent, he puts them in the right areas. Joe Cole always hits the first man. I reckon Ballack would be an option again from Corners. Penalties......Well this season we've been Faultless, Lampard, Shevchenko and Ballack have all scored with absolute ease so we're fine on that front. Drobga takes pens for his national team too so wth pens, really we should be perfect at pens. If we have a penalty shoot out and Drogba, Sheva, Lampard and Ballack are on the pitch, we'll most probably get at least 4 in lol. Even JT takes a mean penalty, Scored vs Newcastle in the Asia Cup in 2003 and vs Portugal in Euro 2004, again with ease. Free kicks from around the penalty box = Ballack Free kicks from around 30-35 yards = Alex or Sheva but if they're not playing, just let lamps have a lash i guess or create something different. Corners = Belletti but if he's not playing, just chose anyone, they're all as bad as each other. Pens = Lamps, Sheva or Ballack, no problem with either. Spose Lamps til he misses again, but he's taken his last few very well.

have my points v arsenal been done because it still says i got 0 for that game
-
yeah be good to stuff his team 5-0 and daddy to watch it
-
