talk about flashbacks, now yes, i fucking loved that game lol, arsenal getting bashed by yids, scousers, greeks, jocks, turks or even fucking germans i love it just as much, but talk about flashbacks of that 2002 semi. the goals were in order, we were 3-0 down, 4-0 down, forssell scored a stunner like adebayor to make it 4-1 then the goal at the end to kill it 5-1. it was also after a very long winless streak against that team, was 9 years since tottenham beat arsenal, was 12 years since tottenham beat us. damn its fucking scary. Poor Gallas, he played in both games haha Now its our turn, our job is gonna be really hard, this is Everton's biggest game for.......i dunno.......13 years i guess so we have our work cut out. We'll put a strong team out tho so its got the makings of a fantastic game and are definitely favourites to go through thanks to joleon. P.S Bristol Rovers just knocked Fulham out the FA Cup on pens

where the fuck do you find all these stories lol. That story (like mostv'e your stories) is fucking insane! "A friend handed it back to Mr Jones saying: "That's yours." "It was never my intention to cause harm to Geoff" but could you imagine the pain..... i wouldve knocked her fucking senseless

as far as they're concerned, rafa is done for.

i only just heard the score, i kinda forgot it was on as i was watching mali in the african nations cup. I looked to see who scored and whenn it said crouch 88' i was like "FOR FUCK SAKE!!" least they dropped more points tho, they are getting further and further behind its really funny. The race for 4th is looking really interesting now, like the battle of the scousers in 04/05, its like a repeat. Don't forget who won that race Liverpool are in trouble. Love it, *looks on liverpool forum*

Fantastic goal by kalou and ivory coast definitely looked like they wanted the win more. Drogs still not really looking 100% fit but this tournament is great for us for him to get on the way to fitness. Was funny to see so many English Based players lol, even Olifinjana (however you spell that) and Shittu got in on the act good celebrations from Ivory coast at the end too. great to see. Mali vs Benin next.
-
yeah lol, like an old wimbledon crowd. The grass is horrendously bad, how they can play football on that is an absolute joke. I hope not all the games are on pitches like that because it would ruin the tournament. 5 mins to go now till Nigeria vs Ivory Coast. Can't Wait. Drogs and Kalou both starting for Ivory Coast. Martins, Kanu and Yakubu up front for Nigeria, Mikel is playing too, should be a great game.

even if chelsea moved 50 miles, i would still support them because they are still the same team, that will probably never happen to us tho thankfully. its impossible supporting someone else whatever the circumstances are.
-
nah not on drogs but he will defo do one in the match i bet. Watching Namibia vs Morocco, its a crazy game, i can see a right battering here. It's 4-1 at half time to morocco and tbh it could end up being 10. Can't wait till the game at 5 tho.

As much as i understand everything in the first post, i can never turn my back on chelsea fc, regardless of what happens or where we end up. Its just like AFC Wimbledon (or FC United), the real wimbledon fans stuck with MK Dons, i would always stick with Chelsea FC because its the club i was brought up with. Changing teams is impossible, AFC Chelsea would have nothing to do with Chelsea FC, it would be a completely different team and therefore it would be as tho supporting Chelsea FC my whole life would be a huge waste of time if i supported AFC Chelsea. I understand that Chelsea isn't really Chelsea as we used to know it anymore but its still that team that was founded in 1905 by H.A and J.T Mears. They are still that team that play at stamford bridge and they are still the same team i always supported even if it doesnt seem that way. Supporting a different team just isn't an issue no matter whjat happens.

because i'm watching my tv in a different room to my PC and now i'm going back down because the 2nd half has started bye bye

I cant believe the length of that grass. Absolute Insanity. Ghana have dominated, hit the post 3 times and its only a matter of time till they score.
-
i thought we were by far the better team. yes, they missed some great chances but overall we were by far the better team in what i saw. They were just doing long balls, we attacked a lot in the 2nd half especially.
-
Yep, Ghana vs Guinea on very soon. Think it kicks off in 10 mins, see how Essien does. I strongly fancy a comfertable Ghana win. Its on BBCi and Eurosport.
-
i'll do it too, be fun.
-
he was very good yesterday, i think he's a decent enough player to be in the squad, there's no point selling him already and looking for someone else. If Lazio guarrantee him first team football tho, he might be off. I still believe him to be more of a midfielder tho. He was good yesterday because he had a lot of the ball from deep possitions. Looked very good on the ball too.

well as JT and Gallas were the central partnership, i remember riccy wasnt getting much of a chance and was only playing when Gallas was covering at left back. When carvalho played, i thought he was dodgy. He kept making very risky decisions like pulling ppl's shirts in the penalty area from corners etc and he was lucky to get away with most things he done. He even had a row with Jose a few years back because he couldn't get in the team and i thought he was gonna leave. He threatened to leave. His major breakthrough came when Gallas left. Suddenly he knew that he was gonna be JT's center back parner perminently and he took it with open arms. From the day Gallas left, Ricardo Carvalho has been immense and doesnt make many mistakes. It's tough to say whose better out of Terry and Carvalho, they both put their bodies on the line in challenges and go in where it hurts. They both have the "you shall not pass" mentallity and they do absolutely anything they can to stop the ball going into the net. John Terry surges up the field with the ball, so does Riccy. I actually believe they are very similar players. Together, they have it all. Maybe pace isnt the best tho.
-
obviously gonna be tough, but i think the Lescott own goal really might count to be a huge moment. I feel more confident about this than i did a couple of weeks back and i really think we'll get the job done. 2-0. We'll get an early goal then catch em at the end.
-
will only get bigger too
-
the only problem was in the final third and in and around the penalty area. Apart from that i think we pretty much controlled everything. Had a couple of scares tho, the one off the line and the open goal miss (or 2 lol), but overall, we were the better team and deserved the 3 points.
-
huge win considering arsenal and man utd won, we're still in it, grinding out these wins. Well actually we were good today i think, just when you get to the stage when theres only 15 mins left, you start to think 'it's not gonna be our day' but we got it in the end thank fuck. Defo a fair result.
-
great powerful header, i think he's been very good today. lol must be something about birmingham for him. That could be a huge goal as the other 2 cunts are winning as well.
-
we've started the 2nd half very well, ive never seen a team play more long balls than birmingham, they're just giving the ball to us everytime they get it. this goal is coming, i can see it. It's all us

yay my sopcast is finally working, just in time for half time..... lol. EDIT: Sopcast is 5 mins slow lol, *Turns TV Off*
-
my sopcast aint working either, says page cannot be displayed, it's driving me insane beyond belief.
