This just tells you that we aint gonna ever give our youth a chance. Going 3-0 up so early was exactly the same as when we went 3-0 up in UCL 5 years before. It was an amazing game that had everything. Probably the start of the Mourinho vs Barca rivalry too but they had their revenge the next season and went on to win it again like 2009. Whilst we're still qualifying for the UCL every season, we have a chance of getting matches like this but we just have to make sure we're qualifying every year which is harder now because there are 6 teams that can genuinely challenge to qualify every year (Spurs, Arse, City, Utd, Liverpool and us) and even challenge the league title now This is why the premiership is the best league in the world. Certainly the hardest league to win matches in. I'm sure we'll get another epic soon, we're due one. Maybe next season on our way to Munich.

Man Utd's run in is fucking difficult having us, Arse, Blackburn away and Everton home. They are in a good position but i'd still be a tad concerned if i was a manc. It could blow up big style. If we keep winning, we will put a bit of pressure on them.

We should play with a bit of freedom today i hope, although the league isn't completely over, we aint gonna win anything this season so i wish we'd just play with freedom like the WBA game.

To be honest tho, at the current state, we don't need many players. 2 Wingers has to be main priority. If we had 2 wingers like Bale and Young, we'd be in a brilliant position now. Our defence is great, our strikers are great and our midfield is strong now that Ramires has found his feet and Benayoun plays like a 25 year old. He never shows slowness or fatigue. We really are not that far away at all, but Carlo and Roman need to recognise the areas we need to strengthen and they are out wide. Malouda is pretty much a winger but more-so a left midfielder and Kalou and Anelka are both strikers so clearly playing them on the wings are gonna have an adverse effect and prove to be pointless. Every position needs a player who's natural in that position and that's why it's not worked too well too often.

He shouldn't of played Drogs at all in that period but its that thing again with the profile of the player and being worried about us losing if Drogs doesn't play and being blamed. It's easy just to pick the best players and make excuses but a real world class manager woulda had the bollocks to make changes. It's what they get paid for. That's my main criticism of Carlo, making changes to his team. We blew the title in that period and Drogs was made a bit of a scapegoat.

Played em midweek last season i remember and put one of our best performances of the season in in a 3-0 victory. Birmingham still arent 100% safe so it will be a harder game tomorrow because of this but i expect us to get the job done. Looking forward to it.

Well, point 2, 3 and 4 aint happened yet so we'll see. I'm positive because i know i support a brilliant team but a new playmaker, Torres finding his form and 2 new wingers still are being waited on. We currently have a few players that really should go now and the talent has to come through. Although i hate them with a passion, i really do like The Emirates and i'd love to see Chelsea in a stadium like that week in, week out. Nice big pitch too for our system which quite frankly SB doesn't allow us to play against defensive teams because of the lack of space. I do love SB tho but it's time for us to move into a modern super stadium soon. I also very much like Celtic Park and Dortmunds because they are big with still great atmosphere
