He plays for Chelsea so you might as well add him prematurely.
-
David Fucking May won it with man utd in '99 too. For every great who aint won it, there's a useless cunt that has.
-
If he wanted to stay, he woulda dropped certain players and shown some bottle. Same subs every game, same awful wingers, same lack of creativity and same lack of balls.
-
Zola?
-
He was losing it a bit anyway but the latest injury has well and trully ended him. Time for fresh, hungry blood.
-
Na matter what we want, the fact is that all these cunts will probably be here next season and some the season after too. Malouda Kalou Bosingwa Anelka These are the 4 i'd let go. Lampard has to be a cameo player now like Scholes is for utd and use Benayoun more. Bring back Sturridge, Kakuta, Cork (Who i personally rate very highly) and use Josh like Arse have used Wilshere. It will fall into place.

Great attitude shown last night but Man Utd over the 2 legs were the more comfortable team, they all know their roles and they know their first XI, we don't. It's hard to take because of the penalty in the first leg and the awful red card decision last night then to top it off we concede 20 seconds after we score, really shit but that's how things are with us all the time. He should've played Benayoun ahead of maybe Essien and he should of started with Torres and Zhirkov out wide and Drogba through the middle, Drogba is still the main man. We do not have the players to go to the next level, plain and simple. Josh needs to play more and sturridge needs to be brought back. We might go a couple of seasons trophyless but we need to change things now. Malouda, Anelka, Bosingwa, Kalou, Bye-Bye! 2 things from yesterday, Lampard is finished, Drogba is still the main man.

Abramovich thinking about selling Torres?
Ollie replied to SamTrueBlue's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Nah the one where Benayoun set him up, he coulda composed himself better imo. He was nervous for the one you mentioned too tho, he shoulda taken the touch across the defender but, it's coming .... -
Would help if more ppl gave their opinions on the match and not just stick up starting XI's. I'd play Torres on his own up front but that's me (Torres does better against Man Utd than Drogba) Massive game, it'll be absolutely brilliant if we can pull it back and turn it round but it's certainly gonna be dificult. I think we'll do it, i have a really good feeling about it but gonna be so nervous come 7:30. I just hope we go for it don't be too nervous and scared because this man utd is not the best and we are better than them. 1-3 would be sweet, kill it in injury time on the break. We need another Highbury 2004 monent in the UCL. Old Trafford 2011? Would be epic!

Abramovich thinking about selling Torres?
Ollie replied to SamTrueBlue's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
We have him for 5 years, it's a long term signing, not a 5 month signing. Was pissed off he missed that chance tho. he rushed it, he's clearly nervous as fuck. -
Nice one, hopefully its the proper start hes been looking for.

I agree he has great ability but i also agree he isn't premiership level, at least not atm. Not sure why really, defenders in the prem aint gonna let him run past em all like championship players will. I would like him to play for a team like West Ham, WBA, Fulham, Villa etc. Established premier teams who do try n play football. Maybe he'll come to the prem with Swansea, ya never know. Just something about his mentality, he played for us a few times, just didn't seem confident about his own ability but he was an immature teen back then, maybe he's grown up and can do it. There's no doubting his ability, same with Kakuta.

"We get dud ref decisions every year in the Champions League"
Ollie replied to Term-X's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
It's not the first time, it certainly wont be the last. But... Getting a pen against a 'historic' English UCL team isn't impossible for us. We also got a VERY dodgy panalty at the nou camp in 2006 too. It's not only been bad although our luck has been only bad in the Roman UCL era. -
well he'll just lose friends and respect for saying that, he's obviously hinting that he's playing better than Malouda and co but he has to realise when he sits down every week and watches football first "fuck, i really am shit". He is pretty good in the games at home to wolves, west ham, wigan and the likes, tho. He should've played today really.
-
Can't judge him for fulham at old trafford, it's hardly fair. We have world class proven players and they were all shit against man utd on weds... He needs 5 full games in a row, then he can be judged a bit more accurately. Plus the fact that Fulham are just a shit pussy little family club.
-
Yeah that's what i said about Bosingwa too lol but it would be worth a try, he's so quick. Crossing a ball is hardly difficult, i'm sure he might manage to get a few over one day. He can't cross but he absolutely categorically CANNOT defend.
-
The type of player we need. Young, skillful, direct, scores goals, attacks, English... What more can i say. He'd be a fantastic signing because he is a cracking player. And yes.... he is Chelsea and premiership class imo.
-
We lack a Walcott, Lennon, Ashley Young, SWP kind of player so much though. Of those 10 goals, most of them were before October lol. We need someone who is direct and can take players on with their pace. Bosingwa could do it but his final ball is crap. The thing that lets Malouda down is that he isn't direct enough imo. He's more of a midfield footballer.
-
Football can be cruel, Torres tries to hard to score.... Malouda does sweet fuck all and the ball drops to his feet from a scrappy corner and his shot somehow finds a way in. Hopefully this gives him more confidence because there aint many games to go. It's shit or bust time, especially in europe.

Something different, a Chelsea player ignoring Drogba and only looking for Torres lol. When Al Habsi saved it i shouted at the top of my voice "FOR FUCK SAKE" i want him to score so fucking bad. Benayoun and Torres have to play on tuesday, these are true Champions League players. We win the game if they play, 100%. WE need to destroy these cunts n shut them up for once and for all. Even if Torres plays on a wing, he naturally drifts there anyway. Most of his goals have come from out there and cutting in.
-
Just a bollocks thread. Apart from scoring that illusive goal, he's been excellent and even today he came so fucking close. As Alex said, Anelka had a massive spell without scoring in 07/08. Look at Henry and Bergkamp for Arsenal and look how shit Berbatov was at Man Utd. This is the crunch part of the season, he could end up scoring 4-5 times and those goals could be fucking golden. Next season, he's winning the golden boot. Give the guy a break. Benayoun was excellent when he came on btw, almost gave Torres his first goal, no coincidence it was him too. It's coming. Fine lines.......

Quite funny reading this really, such differing opinions on Torres and Drogba on who was better. I was even arguing with ppl at work today on who was better. I think ppl are just saying Torres was shit because he aint scored yet. He was good yesterday and a huge threat. Drogba provided no goalscoring threat, he was just moaning for the majority, running into players, losing the ball and failing to pick anyone out. Torres took on and beat players, had 4 or 5 efforts which almost got us the goal, a bit more luck and he woulda got 3. Drogba has the presence but he's a striker, he didn't look like one yesterday imo, his positioning was also crap. Torres' movement was better too. I dont remember a DD shot on target.

Tottenham scored 12 against them last season. 9-1 and 3-0. This season was 1-0 to Wigan and 0-0. The problem this season has been purely goals and considering last season, i think that's staggering. 103 goals last season and now we're only on 54 with 8 games left. We only failed to score in 1 game last season in the league, this season we've failed to score in 8 already. I don't get why this has happened tbh, especially after scoring 21 in our first 5. It has literally gone tits up since Wilkins left. We need to probably go back to 4-3-3, 4-5-1 and bring in a proper number 2. I wanted us to go to 4-4-2 but it clearly dosen't work so we need to go back to normal now, there's too much at stake now for us to be trying to accommodate players. Surely we'll get some goals in this. Surely.... Think we should 'rest' (drop) Lampard, play 4-3-3 and add something different. Cech, Ivanovic, Luiz, Terry, Cole, Ramires, Mikel, Benayoun, Kalou, Malouda, Torres Kalou and Malouda can be chanced in a game like this and they were both good in the away game. Torres needs a goal, Banayoun adds creativity. I'd LOVE to see that team.

He managed AC Milan from 2001-2009. AC Milan were a fucking top team then with great players. Fuck 2006, fuck now, fuck next year whatever..... AC Milan between 2001 - 2009 were a dominant world powerhouse of a team and they would've been regardless of who was in charge. Maldini, Nesta, Pirlo, Costacurta to name more.
-
Cech 8 - Goal wasn't his fault but looked safe and handled very well. Ivan 7 - Very strong and came out of defence with the ball to try and make things happen JT 7 - Dominant, strong and Ash 6 - Normal performance from him really, did nothing wrong. Bosingwa 5 - Great speed, looked dangerous but awful final ball and can't defend. Skinned by a 38 year old Essien 3 - Slow, awful passing, confused.com Lampard 4 - RIP. Shit passing, crap shooting, looks old and cant wait to get rid of the ball Ramires 7 - Lively, tried hard and showed quick feet but no help Zhirkov 2 - Didn't see him Torres 6 - Looked most likely to score and looked dangerous with the ball at his feet. Great skill too and beat a few players. It's coming Drogba 5 - Just ran into people, created nothing, bad body language, no efforts on goal, moaned, same ol' DD. Couple of good bits of skill but then fucked it up.
