Greek cup 02-04-2014. Olympiakos Piraeus - PAOK Salonika. Kick off 17.00 UK time. Back PAOK for small stakes (7.33). A hunch.

You must send this to 25 recipients. - Jeremy Carstairs of Staffordshire who mailed it won 25 million in the national lottery. - Madeleine Mc Gallagher of Inverness gave birth to triplets at the age of 54. - Malcolm Tinkerbottom of South London was burned by Santa Ursula for failing to send.

The answer given by the poet Humbert Wolfe may apply: You cannot hope to bribe or twist, thank God! the British journalist. But, seeing what the man will do unbribed, there's no occasion to.

If we play like we did against City (1-0) we can win. In that match it was our ineptitude to make it 2-0 -plus the posts- that created any danger.
-
After the 1-1 they went to sleep.

Some believed Atletico is like Getafe or Rajo Vajecano. Barca are on the way out out I expect. Once again fellow Spaniards were not intimidated by Messi and co like other Europeans do. Some heroics by United but not enough.

Napoleon was of Greek descent. The name Bonaparte is the Corsican translation of Kalomeris (Kalo = good, meros = place, land). During his reign he did not want to provoke the Ottoman empire as he had enemies elsewhere and so kept it a secret. Nowadays Sarkozy who was also of Hellenic descent was saying it every time.

Translate what ? They don't reply. I don't like to rule the world. Extremely boring.I like fast cars-QE2 cruise with miss universe. Well I suppose some things are secret and it's our job to spy.

I (we) need info on many sports topics / issues and get the thumbs down from non-english forums & discussion boards. In those cases English is foreign. Some tolerence is needed, somehow, a realistic modus operandi.

the rain in spain stays mainly in the plain Swahilli: mvua katika spain anakaa hasa katika wazi Mandarin chinese: 在西班牙的雨主要停留在平原 Greek: η βροχή στην Ισπανία παραμένει κυρίως στην πεδιάδα Turkish: İspanya'da yağmur düzlemde esas kalır

Google translate is utter garb I 'm afraid. Especially when you try to translate sports reports.

Oly fan - heaven forbid ! That's what I mean you see. All those great Pana players of old would have crossed the border and become Inter Milan players - United players. Kills competition somewhat. My Greek team is AEK of Athens.

In the 19th century only the English intelligentia learned Greek - status symbol. Andra moi enepe mousa - polytropon os mala polla. Our mistake is not adopting the Erasmic accent which is great fun as opposed to standard Greek accent. The Greek scholars want to kill me for saying that but I believe it.

Mois j' aime la langue de Moliere.

I don't agree. We should learn French.

The foreign fans always pay a visit to their opponents fan page to find out various facts. It's traditional. When Chelsea played Olympiakos all the Olympiakos fans visited Chelsea forums, But with so many teams around they don't stay.

10/11 not 11/10 (I found bet365 have this bet)

Nice French song

Bookies for the match: 1.97 - 3.40 - 3.90. I don't see qualification odds. Favourite first scorer Zlatan,4.50, Eto'o 8.50

The elo ratings of football clubs come from clubelo.com (Danish website I think). For the national teams it's eloratings.net (the original). To get the feeling Schalke, disposed easily by Chelsea, stands at 1814, 120 points below. Olympiakos, disposed easily by PSG, stands at 1721. Galata at 1632. The rating of the Turkish team looks too low for me, although some believe Olympiakos are their betters. But Olympiakos too are not that bad compared to Schalke. Anyway a differance of 100 is significant of superiority.

The Bosman ruling is brain drain if I may borrow the expression. If it was the law from the beginning of time the mythical players of the past would not exist. We were going to say "ah this Juventus guy who played for us for a couple of months" for some of the football myths of the past - unless we are Juventus or one of the 6-7-8 other big clubs of Europe. It's not true Chelsea can't make it without the foreign players. Before Bosman it was one exit to Europe - one cup (Athens 1971) for them (i.e. should have managed to do better at home). At the same time the whatever restrictions limit peoples freedom and are undemocratic. Some formula must be found because football is losing support. Ultimately the big 5-6 will find it boring too, if left playing among themselves.

The Elo ratings say PSG = 1904, CFC = 1937.

Those videos with the sun shining are appalling.

Chelsea don't care about possession football. It's their all time system and when the gears are not functioning properly you see the kind of despicable thing you saw yesterday. However after the departure of the old guard you mention above, Chelsea looked like an amateur side. Compare FA cup against Everton in 2009 to previous year's champion league's effort. We won but looked like day and night.

I switched tv on yesterday. Chelsea in whites and playing like Panahaiki Patras. Unbearable to watch and could n't see past a 0-0 result all the way. It looks to me like Eto'o makes the difference up front and the much maligned Willian is needed. Torres looks forward to the 1954 world cup in Bern and Schurrle is the kind of player who can score a hat trick when we are already winning 8-0 I 'm afraid. The Frenchies are as I said the no 3 easiest on paper opponent in this round of the competition but they are good. Another thing I noticed is that the French clubs have a very poor record of European cup wins. Only one champions cup (Marseille 1993) and one Cup Winners cup (Paris St Germain 1996). For a country with such a great tradition in the world cup that's very little indeed.
