  1. I 'm afraid Trump in fact won Georgia. Big margin with 37% of the votes counted and big swing relative to 2020.
  2. The swing states are difficult to predict, assuming they continue to behave like swing states.
  3. Stalin was mighty popular. There was a kebap house near my house now closed and the proprietors were Pontian Greeks from Georgia. When we asked it was honey dripping from their mouths about Joe. I quarelled with them in the end because they brought me a bagful of potato chips and I had n't asked for potato chips.
  4. His comedian Hinchcliffe is not even funny. The sort of guy you don't pay and then he takes you to court and the case is dismissed. At first I thought he was something like Bob Hope.
  5. In UK you too you could buy from the vending machines after hours. Now with the various loony governments you have, Farage, Boris, I don't know.
  6. I know about the commie laws that ban smoking. Yes fags.
  7. Look here is how it works: You have in your computer the results of 2020 from the exact polling stations that report and you calculate the swing. It's simple.
  8. In 2016 we had solid predictions at this hour. First Hillary that went wrong. I went outside for five minutes to buy fags and when I returned it was Trump and became certainty after another half hour.
  9. They used to measure swings in US elections too - Ford v. Carter.
  10. In Gr we used to have the swing on the official Singular computer company cards. It was accurate. Now they have stopped it.
  11. No results from battleground states so far. But what is the swing ?
  12. On Trump night City clobbered, Madrid clobbered.
  13. Factored, but it is real money and prices have gone up because of it.
  14. I don't know how much they care about world events. They cared about the spread of communism, only that was perceived as a political threat as well as a military threat. But re. Ukraine they do care about the money spent and it is real money. The differences are usually small but Trump is a fun figure like Barry Goldwater.
  15. There are many component situations working in favour of Trump. Biggest crap of them all is in my opinion Biden's failure to nip in the bud the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The rivers of dollars needed now for weapons to Ukraine would n't be needed. All he had to do was send some NATO forces to Ukraine before the invasion of February 2022 started. There is n't a chance in a billion trillion of Putin invading Ukraine if NATO was there. Trump did n't even deserve to be a serious contender after the J6 events he caused back in 2020. Dems however made the unjustified decision to support wokism instead of embracing Christianity. Because everything Trump does and says is anti-christian, including his disrespect for human rights of course, the guns, the opposition to a universal health care system. Roman emperor Diocletian the persecutor might have been a little less antichristian than that.
  16. What are Hamash-Hezbollah expecting from Trump ? Lenience ? Not likely but what can he do more ? Bomb them twice ? What they are expecting from him is to create a more tense environment so as to enable them to spread their brand of terrorism further. They made their calculations before the 7/10 last year. Tomorrow they will say "we won".
  17. I don't expect Harris to win. Trump was ahead before that first debate that went badly for Biden. Then the margin became wider. Then Harris took over and managed to regain some ground. Past experiece with similar situations as well as the current polls indicate Trump. Of course we will know in 48 hours but to change my prediction something really dramatic must happen.
  18. Are there going to be more terror attacks under a Trump presidency like 9-11 and the London tube, or less ? Chances are 99.95% that there will be more. To understand this one should try to enter the mentality of the immigrant populations in America and Europe. There are many popular myths about those populations. But the truth is they can be divided into broadly two groups: Politically friendly and politically hostile to the host country. I 'm not talking about those who are into common crime. Common crime by immigrants or anyone else is of course not something to be tolerated, but it has nothing to do with politics. Thus a successful house burglar or cheque forger after doing his tricks for some years may stop it and become a respected citizen - even enter the house of Lords. So it's the politically friendlies and the politically hostiles the two important groups in what regards terrorism. A politically hostile immigrant was something of an oddity several decades ago. Why emigrate to America or Britain if you don't like America / Britain ? They existed but it was an oddity. Nowadays a fair percentage are hostiles, thanks to the fanatical muslims and also thanks to their antisemitism. Those are dangerous. Under a Trump administration who is calling ordinary people "garbage" what will happen then ? The 15 say percent will become 30%, not 5%. So a cycle of violence and inevitable counter repression is under way. There are also the old style urban guerrilas of the left and it's a golden opportunity for them to start again. They are in any case outlaws (were - they will be) so the whatever new laws don't deter them. Putin - Iran - Hamash - North Korea are relishing in the mud, to borrow a horse racing expression.
