Again we did do some overplaying. After the double chance there was another one and Hazard-Cesc needed twenty five one-twos before deciding and the ball was lost.
-
Never looked like a pen. But caused brief agony because wrong decisions happen.
-
Well done ! Mark Spitz did n't help United in the end.
-
I don't believe Barca were going to have a stroll at the Bridge, like against MC, PSG.
-
PSG were crap and ouclassed, but looked as if they could n't do any better. But Bayern is a load of rubbish. Beerhall.
-
UTD are the form pick in the EPL. A lot better than when we met early in the season (was moving towards a 2-0 win, they got lucky and made it 1-1). UTD are a bit more anxious than we are, to maintain third place. Last EPL derby we played was against City and we had some anxiety then.

There are two nice girls behind. Intinctive move. If it was bearded men with beer cans he wouldna.
-
Two efforts, one goal. Similar to last year, April-May we show rapid decline. I don't like this trend because apart from what's going on in the EPL, if we were in Europe they 'd be laughing at us.

I think one has to be careful when discussing these things. Thought experiment: Brazil play against Costa Rika and they lock you in a room not allowing you to watch the game. After the match they tell you "it ended 1-0 - the goal was scored with the hand - scandal", but they don't tell you who won 1-0. Are you not going to suggest Brazil ? The way things are and given the referees are blind but not partial you are going to say Brazil won. Because 29 out of 30 it's going to be Brazil the way things are in football. So such countings have to be balanced before we can prove something. Another thing I always do is accept the verdict of the majority of the pundits, not what our own fans think, before joining in a protest.

Waiting for City to make it 2-1 to get in the live.
-
It's 3 points in both cases and we are near the end. Logic says secure the 3 pts from QPR, if playing Cesc and Matic does indeed secure that.
-
Stan Bowles was their best player. Scored against us at the bridge once from 30-40 yards, almost took the goalposts down (Bonetti ?).
-
QPR look pretty abysmal, Leicester City are more dangerous. I think we should put two and two together and thrash monsieur Wenger and the MU and get over with it.
-
We have some good distance shooters, but one also needs space to try. Willian found some against Everton and he was also lucky. Hazard yesterday, early on, missed. I mean more like one touch-two touch situations. The endless formality reminds me of old USSR style. Their players liked to go past 4-5 opponents then went back and said "let's start again".

Pele failed in Guadalajara. Our own Alec Sofianidis scored like that against Olympiakos Piraeus, in a friendly, in 1963.

* I don't agree Ronaldo and Hazard can be compared as suggested. Different roles. Let's compare Terry and Hazard then. Messi ok and of course he used to be even better than he is now. Eden Hazard's pen system is superb. His eyes are on the keeper and not the ball so he always dummies the keeper. At the same time his knows to avoid shooting wide. * With Cuadrado it does n't look good now, but we have seen revivals of players in the past. Fiorentina and Chelsea are different quantities. * Arsenal seem to be in good form but next year's opponent will be MU and it's not going to be nine points clear for either. * We need to conclude our attacks sooner. Yesterday's tv commentator used the term "overplaying" which describes what happened against PSG and Burnley. I used other words back then.
-
He is the 25% of Willian now, given they have similar roles.
-
Leicester played well against West Ham yesterday. Some fast moves, earned them the second goal.
-
I hope Cuadrado gets better. He does n't look good now. When you buy players from lower quality teams sometimes it fails but let's hope he will put things together.
-
Only 2-1 against clown team. Too much overplaying again. Thank god it's April.
-
The clock stopped in 1966. We have seen some terrible football since then but also some very good teams. But no luck for England. Between Italy 1990, England (euro) 1996, Japan 2002 they were surely entitled to win one ! But lost all three. The English football Chelsea style is good. Arsenal are the ones at the other end of the spectrum who usually think it is about who will kick the ball higher in the air.
-
Well I got the creeps back then, because I wanted Real Madrid - should have been easy. I was afraid of the "Allianze". I wrote to the other Chels forum "listen we are going to win this on pens and Peter will parry their last one out with the help of the crossbar".
-
The champions cup / champions league finals in which one of the two teams was a team of the host country were 12. 6 of those went one way, 6 went the other way. The preponderence of such "home wins" was in the early years.
-
Can PSG do it and win the champions league at 16 to 1 ? From the others Real Madrid appears to stand at a fairish price right now (4 to 1). Barcelona look good but the price 5/2 is butchered. Bayern are the favourites at 7/4. The bookies obviously believe that the venue of the final (Berlin) gives them home advantage, but I disagree with that.
