Somewhat better even if we had drawn the match, given that Palace played well.
Potter changed the system slightly to the better with the long balls (but Tuchel would have done the same I believe).
Fofana could have prevented the Palace goal and Tiago also made an uncharacteristic bad mistake (escaped).
Our defence has been caught off guard many times plus Mendy's gifts.
For example Southampton, Dynamo.
But it's the front line that stinks.
Aubemeyang does n't look to me as if he is up to it (Iguain no 2 ?), Werner was better than Havertz.
Mount-Jorginho remind us of a Mazzola or a Francescoli only at night when we see dreams.
After Sterling's goal we made one more attack and James's shot went over the bar.
Then the Austrians stole the ball (!), we slumped and imho it would have been a lucky escape if it stayed 1-0.
That's based on the assumption that Tuchel was to blame - he did n't know football systems, he was no manager for Chelsea.
Does it really looke like it ?
All other buttons in the forum pages work except submit (and submit topic).
I have to click-renew-click twentyfive times to make it work.
What's the issue ? Yours or mine ?
I have pinpointed the weakness.
It's slow motion football and it's not the fault of Ziyech or Sterling as such when they find space to take a shot once in a blue moon.
We had this problem under Mou even in the championship season 2014-15. Also during Conte's second season and lately under Lampard-Tuchel.
Eden Hazard's departure made things more difficult.
I don't know if a new manager will solve it in the coming weeks or months.
It's not so ruthless for Tuchel as it says above.
Everybody respects him despite the recent setbacks.
It might have been more ruthless for him if he stayed and the team continued on the disastrous path.
But I find it difficult to consider it his fault.
I 'm not happy at all.
Thomas Tuchel belongs to the class of all time Chelsea superheroes.
It's 100% the fault of the ouzo-12 players.
From midfield downwards we play Isthmian league football.
* You can see that sort of football from Chelsea but only if we chance upon some really inferior opponent or not so inferior a few times but on their worst day.
From midfield downwards the Chelsea team needs to be rebuilt.
From Ziyech Tuchel was expecting some long range shots. He did n't find space.
Early on it looked as if Dinamo was nothing, they were making defensive mistakes too. After they scored with Fofana beateen for pace everything changed. We were woeful for 77 minutes.
We were not good enough for old fashion press either - only three corners,
No movement off the ball, movement of the ball at slow pace, inaccurate passing when the pace gets fast.
How do you expect goals, by whom and how ?
The exact opposite to Real Madrid whom we eliminated easily two seasons ago.
