How long are we going to wait for Stirling and Havertz to learn football ? Two thousand years ?
-
Kepa had a psychological breakdown just like Greek legend Serafidis who passed away this year. Serafidis became a great goalkeeper and became a legend when the also legendary German coach Jene Csaknady took charge and tutored him.
-
The Casimiro free kicks are normally taken care of by Thiago, without special organs ! If you say Kepa should stay put sometimes, it depends. Where is the ball going to ? Demonstrate with videos. Fact is the man is not as big as Courtois (2 m) or even Begovic (1.99 m). Kepa is 1.86 m while Mendy is 1.94 m. Cech is 1.94 m.
-
Corners and Casimiro set pieces are usually picked up by the defense. Sometimes they are easy catches for the goalkeeper, a few times it's like you say - calls for aerial ability by the goalie. Kepa is not as big as Courtois but do you think Mendy is better at those ?

The Salzburg equalizer. What other ?
-
Nonsense. If he committed himeself to his right corner then Adamu would simply change pace and pass the ball to the empty left corner. It was not a close encounter like Auba-Kohn where the Austrian managed to scramble it. Adamu had all the time and space he wanted.

Rugby league in Greece ??? I vaguely remember something in 2004 with the Olympics. A clever pasok operator obtained a state subsidy to create a team, but the affair was laughable. Never heard of someone playing rugby since but I will search it and let you know if there was something.

We missed a busload of chances - made it into a thriller. We did n't score more than two but we were a lot more creative this time. What was the difference ? The difference was Salzburg were attack minded - parking the bus was no good for them (AC Milan will pass them more likely than not). It's against teams that play deep defense that we struggle most.
-
Two players offside, they did n't go for the ball, but Auba who arrived late had no time. He did miss the sitter a little before though.
-
Werner miss by Auba. A fluke equaliser always lurks around the corner, like Spurs-Utd.
-
Sterling was made to play outside the area, where he is fairly impotent.
-
The Austrians took advantage of the Tuchel wall and snatched a point. They are leaders of the Austrian bundesliga however.

Why are my pics not displaying ? It does n't seem that their urls have been deleted. I changed them from facebook links to postimage. Let's see now.

Against whom do we do well then ? I think we do well against opponents who are either too weak or sort of have their mind to regain the ball and attack rather than close all the gaps. RM was one who played like that and we scored four against them. Essentially we seem to lack players who can open defenses with individual efforts, like Eden when he was playing for us. Sometimes a set piece favours as -like with Koulibaly against Spurs- but that does n't happen every time.
-
At Newcastle they mean business and they are above us on gd now. Spurs are champions of ... September and Arsenal likewise more likely than not.
-
Arsenal after a good start were disgusting for most of the match. However they could have been given pen and the referee allowed Southampton to defend with rugby tackles.
-
However among the very few teams that deserved to beat us from the matches so far was yesterday's United. Trashy Spurs with Taylor most certainly not.

The ball has a chip.

It looks like the age of short guys is over.

United got the ball after that free kick we won in the first minute of extra time and wasted it. Then they all surged forward - last chance saloon and it worked for them. Let's face it. We are not really better than they are now, not without James and Kante and without some great quality up front. I think Aubameyang is a good finisher -like Remy and Bats used to be- but just that.
-
We were not supposed to win like that. The pen was a fluke. Midfield dominated by the opposition for the third time in a row - frontline without imagination as usual. Without Kante and James we are sh*t.

Behind Barca I doubt. Also PSG have to face weaker opposition at home and their strength in Europe is yet to be seen. Real, City I would agree and Bayern are always impressive. Pool why ? But it's a question of money really, not current team ratings.
