From Chelsea loyal:
-
Lukaku was certainly not the player to transform the Chelsea attack but he's not to blame for the utter morass.
-
Possession deceives. Kepa was called into action four times (one went in, three saves). Their keeper only twice, in the last minutes.
-
Now come on. Suppose the unbelievable happened today and we lost. But how do you expect to see football ? It's the entire frontline - they are u-s-e-l-e-s-s.
-
Ludicrous, just ludicrous.
-
Pool manages to turn around matches. You open livescore it's 0-1, you look later it says 2-1 full time. We seem to be useless in every department.
-
I knew we were going to lose if they could play a modicum of soccer.
-
Haveyou noticed that we don't even have possession the last fifteen minutes ?
-
Orsic taught them how goals are scored.
-
We have liberal laws now. It does n't matter.

After the Haaland failure there is only one player we should be after: Killian Mbappe His relations with PSG are on the brink of disaster and another PSG failure in the champions league will be the last straw.

Those guys/gals are window shopping. I knew somebody who begged all the parties to make him a candidate. One day somebody approaches me and says "hey, I saw your friend strolling outside the offices of ms Bakoyannis today". Was the brief period Dora Bakoyannis left the New Democracy party and made a small one of her own. So Liz knows "if I go there I have to sell brexit - so, well, bust it - I 'm going to sell brexit".

Burnley ? Our Giannakopoulos went to Bolton, but no good for higher up. The other Greek one Mitroglou who went to Fulham, ok he was injured, but the only good thing about him is he was a good finisher. Giannakopoulos was "star system". So Orsic could n't play for us or for City ?
-
Orsic is 29 - 27 when Dinamo played against Tottenham. I wonder why he 's not good enough for the big clubs.

Here is the Spurs video: The one above seems to have a problem. The third goal was scored in extra time - special one is left speechless.
-
They are a very skilful side. If they also have the pace, they are a danger to everybody.
-
Udinese - special one 4-0. I was listening to the German commentator. Drei zu nul, fia zu nul.

Re. the disallowed goal let me describe two more historic ones: In this context pens and disallowed goals fall in the same category. Attacking player attempts cross from the right wing, from inside the area. A defender barges in, the attacker sees the defender's leg coming down like a saw, manages to make a feeble cross then gets hacked down. The feeble cross makes the ball move slowly towards the goalkeeper. It's an easy catch. But the attacking player was taken down before the ball reached the keeper. It's a pen - the man in possession of the ball is supposed to be the attacker. There were loud protests from the team that was punished. It was an off the ball incident they said. But no, it does not count as off the ball incident. The other one. Attacker runs with the ball inside the penalty area. The goalkeeper manages to deflect the ball. The ball moves away, towards the sideline for a throw in. But before the ball is out the goalkeeper touches the legs of the attacker and brings him down. Rather both things happened at the same time. Goalkeeper deflects the ball towards the sideline with his knee and the same knee then brings down the attacker. As the ball had not left the field of play a pen was awarded. Again protests for off the ball incident, protests because the ball was certainly going out of play but no. The strict interpretation of the rule says pen.
-
Notice that we are above L'pool and everyone are losing some points. Arsenal had it easy so far against weakies.
-
I used tot think the same about such incidents. On another occasion I phoned a radio station and made noise like Mourinho. But the rule is that it should n't count.
-
Wrong. Consider it as an off the ball incident if you like but it's still a foul on the keeper.
-
They don't know the rule. It does n't happen very often and they don't know the rule. Anthony would of course have counted it plus redcard Mendy for simulation.
-
We can't score from long distance because they are blocking us. Never had a chance - unlike what we did against Southampton and allowed them to take shots.
-
It was n't a goal. Let me describe a similar situation. Attacker attempts a cross from somewhere in the midefield. Easy clearance. Ball takes trajectory towards the midfield again and is inches from crossing the line for a throw in (as we saw later in the replays). At that point some infiringement takes place in the penalty area, a bump rather between two players. Decision pen. It does n't matter where the ball is. Only if possession has changed.
-
It should n't have counted. I have seen many such. Unfortunate decision for the hammers but technically correct.
