Didnt control the midfield, this was the game he should have! Fellani and mata pressed matic and cesc, di Maria doubled up on hazard, januzuia or however you spell his name, on willian. That literally just left blind who was more of a protector off space than to mark Oscar. Started off the game dropping deep and initiating but stopped completely soon after. Didn't use his freedom to keep the ball and take the sting out of united. We play great when we keep the ball and move methodically forwards until an opening appears, but because if our lack of control we just seemed to rush forward a lot. Not suited to big pitches either, which is the main reason Ramires is always beast there.

I'll say my view. We will win the league, in large part because cesc is a great flat track bully. Out of the 30 teams, he will orchestrate or kill off at least 15 with a controlling performance and killer through ball. Arsenal, he played amazing. But arsenal is not city, is not united in style of play. I don't think Fabregas is the type to sit deep and ORCHESTRATE a midfield, but brings an intelligence movement. Fellani is not a great midfielder but kept him out the game completely. Although, this was his first real game with drogba which changed the dynamics.

2 big issues that has been reoccurring. We need to know what we are going to so 1-0 away in big games. Sit back and park the bus? Fine. Keep possession and kill the game? Fine. Go for the second killer goal? Fine. But choose. Such a big pitch, just keep the ball for majority, kill the crowd and it's 3 points, but we have and I think never will do this. The whole team doesn't have the mentality to go forward and kill the game except when there's something straightforward. Parking the bus is the most natural, in that case players like hazard and Fabregas don't bring much at all. For us to take the next step, we need to either keep the ball it be a killer. Second thing, Mikel should no longer be in this squad. He's brought in for a job but only brings jokes and clown antics.

Drogba off for schurrle? He can't play 90 anyway, I actually think half time is a possibility though. Whatever you do, don't give schurrle defensive duties!!

I think it's time to expect one of Oscar or willian to step up and play decisively, perhaps score or create a goal, help to control the midfield. They certainly can against this united team.

Not sure how much off a muscle strain it is though, he come off before it as it started to feel uncomfortable, it's is the kind I strain I think it is it can be recovered from enough to play in around 3-4 days at the quickest so I would say he's a possibility

Hazard to play centrally, put less defensive responsibility on him, especially with essentially a 5 man mid behind him. Schurrle there for penetrative runs and extra direct threat, but if not play Oscar on the right and willian left. Both flanks will be shut down! So much pace in the team as well. Definitely won't happen though
