  1. Ooooooh come on man, there is no need to cruel. You seriously didn't have to remind of me those ones. They were too painful to watch the first time.
  2. I don't know why I remember this play clearly, but in the second half Ivan was released on the wing and delivered a cross. It was a poor one to be fair. But just just before he delivered it, the camera angle was wide enough to capture all our players in the box. Willian was running in, Hazard running in, Torres ( being fresh and should have the flair to change things) was walking. Don't know the defender that was with him, but he didn't seem worried.
  3. Actually it was a smart point. In the first half Ramires and Luiz were pressing very well along with Hazard, Willinan and Oscar. After the yellow card and 5 mins into the second half, Ramires and Luiz were not pressing as much. Possibly worried about the red card. Hazard, Willian and Oscar were forced to sit deeper. That is how we lost the control of midfield area that we had in the first half. But as far as counter attacks are concerned, we were slow like you said in the second half. Simply because you had a striker, who doesn't know how to run, when to run and where to run. Defenders don't need to make much of an effort to cover him.
  4. I am kind of waiting for an optimistic but theatrical quote from you . Give me one buddy
  5. Look man I hope you are not taking this in a personal way. It ain't my style. I never said you will not support the team or tried to imply such a thing. All what I said is that I will support the team. I will have faith in the team and the believe that they will win and get to the next level. Yes we have many deficiencies? But the opponent we are facing ain't perfect and they proved that today with their lousy performance. They were nothing but expensive names on the field today. We gave them the match. I am from Egypt and I live in Kuwait, but I have been watching European football since I was 13 or 14. You know why right from the start without having a favorite club, I found the EPL to be my favorite league? It was not for the magic of Cantona, Ginola, Klinsmann, Zola, Ian Rush, Shearer, Berkamp and the rest of the players. It was because of the fans. A small team, with no history, not a single silverware, yet their supporters show up, cheer them up, believe they can win and if they lose they still cheer them off the pitch and can't wait to see them next season. I remember Viduka, Kewell and Alan Smith's Leeds. Fans never gave up. I remember Ipswich, Charlton and others. I remember Wigan in the cup this year. You just don't lose hope. Even when you know " hypothetically" that your opponent is better than you. You just work hard and no matter what you hold your head up high at the end. If you win, then great. If you lose, then you work harder and come back stronger. That is THE WINNING SPIRIT. You wanna be realistic? They are 11 men and so are we. They are skillful and so are we. The gap is not that much. We have problems and areas to improve, they do too. You really can't achieve your potential as a team unless you believe in yourself and have the WILL to do what it takes. Don't lose faith buddy. It ain't gonna be easy. We will piss blood to get through it. But we can. I hope you believe
  6. That is the way you see it good for you I don't back off from my time, especially at moments when the team needs it. I prefer to fight till the end
  7. Listen mate, as far as you are concerned you are entitled to whatever you think and works for you. The way I see it is that PSG at their own turf, with all the crowd behind them, struggled to play any sort of decent balls. A silly mistake from Terry, another from the referee and Cech in the 2nd goal. And Cech again in the third. They had no real threats except from set pieces. on the other hand we had control of the game (Ramires was neutralized with his yellow card) we could have been leading by the first half and overall, we performed well tactically. Have you seen Ibra? or Cavani? Ibra may not be in the next game. Eto should be there and give us something upfront. It our midfielders play the way we played in the first half, WE WILL SCORE 3. Their defense is a joke. And that is expected from a defense that is not used to play under pressure and is not used to having an opposition attack them. It ain't over till the whistle goes off man. I don't accept a defeat without a decent fight and that is just my character. I would bet that is Mourinho's character and the players' character. As a club, as players, as fans, as managers, we keep going till the end. And if things don't happen for us we keep our heads high knowing we did all we could and work on our mistakes. I am not letting it go half way through. No disrespect to your opinion ofcourse, but it is just not me. I don't give up that easily, I will not walk away from anything and I support a team that has this identity
  8. The tie is over????!!!! LOOOOOOOOOOL. Wake up fans, it is only half time. 2nd half is at THE BRIDGE. Why do you quit so fast. Have faith in your team. Have faith in yourselves. Come on show your true fighting spirit. It ain't over till the final whistle blows off.
  9. Ok we seriously need to work on defending set pieces. We are owned that area as far is this game is concerned
  10. you said it mate. RECORD. Past, history. What he is doing right now is an insult to his history. Actually an insult to a strike's position
  11. Have torres as your striker and we are more than toothless. We are one man down
  12. Seriously what is Torres doing? No pressure, no movement, no positioning. I can't figure him out
  13. That wasn't a foul. And Cech should dominate his 6 yrd area. Poor play by Cech
  14. Why have we stopped pressuring them in midfield???????
  15. OK DEFINITELY DON'T WANNA GET ON YOUR BAD SIDE . But seriously, he has broken down some their plays in midfield. Their midfield is having a nightmare
  16. I agree mate, but he is doing a good job drawing defenders to him and starting the pressure. Ofcourse that is what you expected from an attacker, but it is not really bad given the fact that our true strikers are useless.
  17. Brilliant first half. We pressured them and won most of the midfield battle. They are totally out of their comfort zone. The only threat is from the set plays. Their passes are rushed, Ibra and Cavani are not in the game. Their defense is shaky and that is expected since they have never been properly tested. If it wasn't for Terry poor clearance we would have been up. Other than that mistake I think Terry and the rest of the guys (including Ramires ) are doing a good job taming PSG. I hope we keep it up the 2nd half and watch out for those 2nd yellow cards. And refs seriously need to do a better job.

  19. I am from Alexandria. Sharm Sheikh is one of my favourite destinations. like many other places it should be than this though. Hope you did a bit of diving and snorkeling there a bit of safari too As much as I am tempted to blame others, but it is wrong. Can't blame colonization. It is not a good thing at all, but still can't put the blame there. I blame people for not willing to try and think. See what good thhey would get out of certain actions and behavior. My friend works there in Sharm too I know how it is for the workers there. Believe it or not, as poor as they might seem to you, but those are not the really poor ones. They would be considered well off compared to the ones I am talking about. And yes they were joking a lot. It is our nature as Egyptians, we most joke all the time, even during disasters. We will make a joke of our sufferings and laugh at it from the heart. Hope you you would visit Egypt again and see other places. It is always an honor
