Does anyone have any idea on the wages this fella is on with his new contract?
-
Does anyone have a video which focuses more on Hazard's passing than his dribbling? I'm looking for stuff like this. It also doesn't have to end in a goal
-
Drogba's finishing was also questionable when he joined us and he was a striker. In his prime, his finishing became brutal.
-
That's my a concern of mine. I hope Mourinho and the coaching staff are actually drumming it into him that he should focus more on finishing drills. I hope they are demanding more and not just trying to improve the mental part of his game or the defensive part i.e tracking back. That won't improve Hazard's finishing. The focus right now has to be more on that above other stuff. I'm sure a guy like Drogba will be more than happy to help Eden work on his finishing (which has been a problem for him throughout his career, not just this season).

Who said anything about strengthening them?

Don't waste you time posting well thought out responses trying to reason with a guy who only posts one-liners. As far as we know, he might be a WUM or a troll trying to incite Chelsea fans and begging for attention. Just look at his post history. Only one-liner crap. Most likely a wind-up merchant.

These sites generally tend to have contributors with very intelligent output to contribute. I guess it's because they have a stricter registration process and have more actual FANS than gloryhunters. You'll never see that kind of shit posted on a Red Cafe or a RAWK.
-
What are you doing reading troll.com and taking youtube videos seriously? Goal.com is literally the worst football site in the world alongside Tribalfootball. There are so many good football discussion platforms out there like Reddit soccer for instance. Most of these people are 10 year olds who like to do "my guy is amazing and your guy is shit", or, "i'll hate on that player because he doesn't play for my club/he plays for Chelsea". It's best you upgrade where you obtain your daily footballing stuff from.

His performances in the CL that I saw are identical to what he's shown at Chelsea. He's never been a 30 mil pound player.
-
Willian played great but it's only a friendly game, so let's not get too carried away. The lack of intensity from both teams was telling and the match was basically a 90 min training session.
-
Alexis Sanchez and that's it. Too difficult to list players from all other 19 clubs.
-
Not even the best player in his team.
-
Newcastle away on Dec 6th will be a very difficult game with the way they've been playing in the past few weeks and it's only 3 days after Spurs at home. Jose has also never won there as well.

Cesc must be thanking his lucky stars that he got rejected by the shower of shite, woolwich wanderers. He dodged the proverbial bullet

Who do u want to see start in the FB positions?
MrExcalibur100 replied to Victor Von Doom's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Very hard question. For the LB spot, I prefer Luis and Ivanovic against majority of the sides we face, especially at Stamford Bridge, but away from home and/or against the strongest teams, Azpilicueta. The RB spot is locked down by Brana for the foreseeable future. He's been a monster overlapping this season, his final ball has improved so much. He's also recently gotten even more solid defensively after some criticism at the start of the season. Our best fullback and one of our best players, period. -
Mourinho will probably play 4-3-3, at least away from home. The problem with that is Ramires isn't good enough technically and it will be harsh on Oscar (if he's still in the form he's in at the minute). That's still so far away though.
-
That he should have a greater influence, that's all and keep the ball better. He's already a player in his prime, so I don't expect him to drastically improve in any weak areas. He's one of the best central midfielders in the world, so of course he has to play.
-
YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! GET IN YA HOOPS!!
-
That's your opinion which I think is a load of shite as well. He wasn't even man-marked for large portions of this game but was still ineffective. Fabregas has been nowhere near good enough either offensively or defensively in any of the big games so far. The only thing of note being his exquisite pass to Costa for the 2nd goal. It's early days and it might be harsh but that's the brutal truth. I'm not going to make excuses for him or any player.
-
Re-watching the game, Fabregas was IMO, chiefly at fault for Liverpool's goal. Instead of getting back into position, he was ball chasing Moreno whose running lane was already shut down by Ramires. Moreno plays a pass to Sterling in acres of space, the position Fabregas was supposed to be in, Matic then has to try and close down Sterling and block his path to goal. Sterling instead just makes a simple pass to Emre Can and bang! Goal. This is not the first time he's chasing the ball instead of holding his position. It's tactically naive considering the role he's playing.
-
Even if that's true, which I don't agree with btw, that has little to do with comparing teams.
-
Like I said, that's not his game at this moment of his career, neither in Lille or in Chelsea. He has always been more of a creator, far more than a goal scorer. For instance, against Maribor, he created six chances for his teammates and opened up lanes with his dribbling ability. You can't expect him to be good at something he's not yet comfortable doing on a regular basis and might not or never be and I can more than appreciate that. It's a case of eating your cake and having it, that's why I can never understand the constant bickering about Hazard when he doesn't score, dribble, shoot, pass, track back etc.
