  1. I'm aware of that, but they're similar.
  2. I understand Mourinho's comments, but I honestly believe we can afford him by putting the right deal in. Oscar + £35-40m would interest Juve, but I guess the lack of interest is to do with the board.
  3. I hope Juan, Filipe and Mikel are off.
  4. The fact that we need to increase our HQ quota is clear as day. We are yet to give youth a chance (bought Filipe, Falcao, Juan, etc). Until we make our own stars or at least given them a chance to shine, we'll have to keep buying English talent. In addition, who's replacing JT when he retires?Don't see Zouma being the answer if he ain't starting ahead of the inferior Cahill.
  5. His lawyer said he's staying in Italy, so his next destination is either Inter or Roma.
  6. It all depends on what we're looking for. I'm more than happy to have our defence sit back and do their job, but only when the front four does theirs. The rules for both are quite straight forward, but having Willian and Iva/Dave on the same side does nothing for the team going forward. That's my problem in the first place. Add to the fact that we need to promote youth when needs be (sell Filipe and replace him with Ake). I just hope Mou finds balance this season, as we can't be reliant on three players going forward (especially Hazard).
  7. He's a RB and should play there. We need someone with some sort of attacking prowess on either side, as our attack from the back is stifled ATM. Why Filipe was bought and hardly used is beyond me, as he's more than capable to fill that void.
  8. I think it's clear that Mourinho would like him here, but we will most likely miss out due to his fee.
  9. He should be given a chance to play as our LB if Filipe leaves. It kills me seeing Dave play there (nothing to do with his ability).
  10. Quite a few people after some good displays. I'm not sure why Mou keeps Cahill in the starting XI, as he's gone downhill IMO. Terry and Zouma should be the starting pairing amongst what we currently have.
  11. He hasn't signed an extension, so he might not be there next season.
  12. That could be one of the best signings. Swansea normally make astute signings.
  13. If Gotze leaves, he'll be Bayern bound.
  14. If he goes, he'll be replace by someone like Mitrovic. Wouldn't be great business, but maybe Remy wants to be a starter.
  15. He would be a good addition for the present and future, but we better not overpay. £25m is the max we should offer.
  16. He would be an upgrade, but I'm sure he'll be off to Inter.
  17. I still don't see why he can't become first choice. Thibo will obviously be first choice to start with, but performances will be the deciding factor. It's far from a forgone conclusion.
  18. I thought I read somewhere in this forum that he was classified as HG. I guess I stand corrected, if that's incorrect.
  19. We are swapping a backup HG player for a foreign one. I personally would prefer Song. Upgrade on Mikel, knows the league, will cost much less and is HG.P.S. Mikel isn't as bad going forward as you think. Watch him play for Nigeria and your opinion will change quickly. We play him as a DMF and instruct him to break up play instead of creating chances.
  20. We're in for him by the look of things. Will do a job, but not what I was hoping for.
  21. LOL!It's always a must to try and beat our local rivals.
  22. True, but I think there's a overwhelming majority that are happy we stayed clear at those figures.Song would be an upgrade on Mikel. CS is a friendly according to the FA, but it's always important to put down an early marker and earn our first piece of silverware. Our recent performances haven't been great.
  23. For £49m (potentially)?!We dodged a bullet IMO. Happy we stayed clear.
  24. Should have never got Willian and Juan and got Reus. Would have ACTUALLY done the job and would have cost much less.
