  1. I'm totally with you, but versatile players are the ones that normally thrive. Azpi or Moses probably wouldn't have played for Conte, if they had not adapted. In all fairness, he need a good balance.
  2. He can play RWF as well. I have a feeling Moses will be used in that position from time to time, for better or worse.
  3. I could get behind him for Willian. Him alone wouldn't suffice as Hazard's replacement, though
  4. The latter seems probable going by reports. Some even suggest we bid a bit more (70m) but the player chose otherwise. Not majorly disappointed due to the crazy price. Selling Thibo and adding 15m~ for a replacement would be best all-round.
  5. Could be a true. However, we were forced into this predicament unlike last season
  6. Seems like one of our decent options is off whilst shit sticks around.
  7. I think it was quite clear that they thought a higher bid would have been enough for Alisson. That clearly wasn't the case, so we have to go after plan B. Donnarumma seems like the ideal option left, despite his agent. Milan aren't in a good position either, which works in our favour.
  8. I was alking about league stats only (Lozano got 19 in all comps). He also came from the Mexican league and still produced those numbers
  9. PSV won the title, he scored 17, set up 8 and had a relatively good WC. Don't compare the two based solely on playing in the same league.
  10. Still think he needs another year of regular football & European experience before making the jump up. Too many youngsters from the Eredivise have failed to make the step up due to leaving prematurely.
  11. He would fix the lack of goals from midfield. Something that's been missing sice Lamps left. Don't forget Pasalic
  12. I can't see Barcelona taking a 20m+ hit in less than 12 months.
  13. I honestly hope he stays, but talk of a swap for Dembele plus cash would be far more appealing than anything Madrid could offer.
  14. We aren't making top 4 without Hazard and the same current crop of players (with Golovin & Rugani, providing join).
  15. Pleased to see Pasalic get a chance. I believe he's more than good enough to be a midfield option.
  16. They had competent wide men. We could be stuck if Willian & Pedro.
  17. He didn't exactly impress last season and Stoke are now in the Championship. Doubt anyone will be wanting to spend £30m+ on him
  18. Probably wants shot of him tbh. Think we have all come to know Thibo is only interested in number one, regardless of what position we are in. First time I'll be please to see the back of a starter
  19. I'd honestly say around £35-40m would be ideal for both clubs, all things considered. We receive a decent figure for someone with a year left whilst Real Madrid get a cut price upgrade. Shame we don't have an understanding individual who would sign an extension, see how things go under Sarri and potentially agree a move for next summer. I certainly have no qualms with his motivation for wanting to move, just the way he's conducted himself during his time here. On the GK discussion, I'm surprised there's been little or no talk of Donnarumma considering the state Milan are in and the ultimatum he gave for the 17/18 season (finish in the top 4 or bust).
  20. He's constantly spoken about Madrid and his kids, so there is only two options. Atletico aren't going to downgrade even if a profit is to be bad. Chelsea could demand some in return plus cash to make it more beneficial.
  21. What's reasonable? They sold Mahrez for 60m & Drinkwater to us for 30m. We would be looking at 35-40m min for a HG that will 32 in a few months. That wouldn't be good business. I have a weird feeling we might end up with Donnarumma.
  22. You just don't get it. Thibo is a Chelsea player with one year left on his contract, so as it stands, we aren't DESPERATE for anything. Get back to me when Real Madrid confirm his signature.
  23. You wrote the following - We sell Thibo without a back up in place, we're fucked. That's the bloody difference Can't reiterate the same point for the next hour. Thanks for the input
  24. If Thibo sees out his contract, are we desperate? No idea what's different to grasp. The second point was hypothetical and what could happen if we just sell Thibo with no thought.
  25. I didn't say that. I was solely referring to Thibo departure. We could easily force Thibo to see out his contract before approaching a similar calibre GK next summer. Far from ideal but could be done if needs must. Your lack of concern on the matter could see us ending up with Caballero as our number 1 or spending 50m+ on Pickford. Liverpool are the stumbling block. I believe he could join them if they are willing to match Roma's price .
