  1. I totally agree. It going down to the wire is far more enjoyable than one side coasting.
  2. No one should ever expect anything from Arsenal. Evra said it best -
  3. That decision not to send Nunez off was the turning point. They might as well wrap the title up now.
  4. The price tag is what gets me. People can hate on Drinkwater as much as they want, but at least he was a PL winner.
  5. Our first away win since beating Astana in Dec. It just goes to show how bad we've been since then.
  6. We were always going to concede, so it's good we had a small buffer.
  7. He's with a much better supporting case now. There's obliviously something about him which is why those within the club hold high hopes for a 17 year old. Arsenal & United (putting their predicament aside) haven't hid away from fielding literal nobodies, so this is the perfect opportunity to see what he's about.
  8. I've been echoing a similar thing. James & Enzo should never be considered as captains. If our board continue with cradle snatching, we are going to remain in the same situation. Actual talk of us being linked to Kimmich. Who are they trying to fool?
  9. Mheuka starting is a big surprise. I hope that's a sign of things to come. Sanchez is the only thing I worried about.
  10. Liverpool showed exactly what we're missing - a WC GK, and a plan B.
  11. I feel like the title race was over months ago. It's not enjoyable seeing a side walk away with the title but oh well. As long as they keep taking points off those around us, I'll be pleased.
  12. There isn't much we can take away from that game. Southampton put in one of the worst performances I can remember for a PL side. A cleansheet is a nice plus regardless of the opposition, though.
  13. I hope Palmer can get out of this funk soon. He could have easily scored a hattrick.
  14. It's still crazy to think if we had beaten Everton, we would have been top compared to where we are now. A sad sight.
  15. If we can't beat Southampton convincingly, there has to be real questions raised about Maresca seeing out the rest of the season, imo.
  16. He's on course to blaze past it. Also worth nothing there were 42 games back then instead of 38. One plus about this outcome is Top 4. It won't count for much in 6 months should the big three leave for nothing.
  17. Salah becomes the first player to be involved in 40+ goal contributions in two league campaigns. He's 7 off breaking Alan Shearer's record from 94/95.
  18. 13 points dropped from winning positions if shameful. It's becoming groundhog day every week - score earlier, lose the game. Also, just look at the difference between both ownership. Villa bringing CL calibre players on from the bench while all we had was Sancho. A mess from top to bottom.
  19. If you don't take your chances.... Maresca will have the perfect excuse to recall Sanchez against Southampton now.
  20. You mentioned he can't always do it. Did you re-read what you posted or forgot? Salah might fume at his player, but he still delivers, not sulking. Once again, dips in form are the issue as I've stated multiple times. Put a shift in. Simple! I'd like you to show me where I am turning on him, btw. No one is exempt from criticism.
  21. I totally get it. However, it's an attitude thing as well. If you aren't able to affect the game offensively, you can still put a shift in. He hasn't been. Just look at that chance now when he could have easily passed to whoever was on the left. The less said about our ownership, the better. They are no desire to make us challengers again. Salah is. His attitude has nothing to do with his output either. Your point in invalid.
  22. It's a team game after all. If he can do it all, why hasn't he been for weeks?
  23. That really should be two. Enzo completely unmarked.
