  1. Rules seem to have changed slightly in July 2023. The following article doesn't make things that clear-cut unless you have the answers yourself - The CFCB renders decisions on multi-club ownership cases for the 2023/24 UEFA club competitions | UEFA.com
  2. Damn! That doesn't sound promising in the grand scheme of things. Imagine Strasbourg being a more appealing side to join in the summer. At the end of the day, we need to do our job at the very least. Top 5 mightn't even be enough if the scenario you mentioned came to fruition.
  3. They had no real expectations at the start of the season while CL was surely the bare minimum for us. Maresca's comments are just his way of covering himself should the worse happen and if we do qualify, he's done wonders (in his own head).
  4. Scored his ninth goal of the season in his side's impressive win over Lyon. They are only one point off a CL place having played a game more. No idea if the rules recently changed about European competition & ownership were we both to qualify for the same competition.
  5. Barco will probably be added to that list, too.
  6. He lives in his own world. They'll probably be lucky to have one team match his clause, as they know both parties are dying to part ways.
  7. Whatever makes more sense for them financially.
  8. It should be another team from CONCACAF. However, we all know FIFA want as many eyes on this as possible. The scenes if Barcelona somehow find themselves in the tournament.
  9. Please don't pick and choose what I wrote. My actual post - If he can do it all, why hasn't he been for weeks? The context of my posts in that thread was about his behaviour AND his poor performances, which you commented on. The past is the past for a reason.
  10. People deal with things in their own way. He was very vocal during the Enzo saga as well. Hate crime is a crime however you look at it. His performances should be called out & nothing else.
  11. It's just hypothetical, FYI - ‘RELEGATION and resignations expected’ as Man City trial verdict IMMINENT
  12. There's actually an article which stated a scenario where City could be found not guilty and demand compensation from the league. 😄 I've seen crazier things happen.
  13. I'm not here to past judgement. However, this type of response always seems to come from the same ground. Racism is still a major issue, which is why the club have come out condemning those uneducated individuals.
  14. Any serious side would have come away with at least a point today. Even West Ham were able to beat them on home turf. I personally can't see how Enzo will ever be the right man to take us to the next level with arguably one of the most exciting squads.
  15. Arsenal aren't exactly free flowing upfront. I feel there's one more goal in this game - howler to give Arsenal the win or we grab a valuable point.
  16. No bite upfront whatsoever. If Neto isn't able to get behind Arsenal's defence, we aren't scoring.
  17. We didn't have a shot in the entire first half on Thursday. We haven't had a touch in Arsenal's box after 25m. It's beyond painful to sit through.
  18. I think that has more to do with having no CF at all since his injury. Him at LW could be the move that works for all.
  19. No Palmer at all. This "illness" is serious enough to leave him out of the squad after participating in the last two, Enzo as a 10 doesn't excite me.
  20. As much as some might be against it, I seriously hope we revisit the possibility with his release clause being out in the open. One position we don't want a "project" to be first choice.
  21. It's been like that way for years. We can't do the job ourselves and have to rely on others. Arsenal have drawn their last two games, so I'd take a point in a heartbeat despite Arsenal's notable injury issues.
  22. Aside from Forest's win, the results seem to be going our way. No idea what we'll offer tomorrow, though.
  23. I feel like it has more to do with beating United to the punch rather than anything. We signed Nkunku, Pulisic, and Ziyech, to name three, way before the summer window even opened. In theory it might seem like a wise idea, but I'd always advise on waiting till the season is over before agreeing deals to sign first team players (free transfers aside).
  24. The entire Forrest squad have been ignored. CHO should have been called up ahead of Foden if the selection was actually based on form.
